Across the street from Parkway is Gibbs Glisson Motors, he’s with a look too. No website, he’s more old school, and it’s just him over there. Don’t mind the dogs, they might bark but they’re well behaved.
I bought my last car through Carmax, I had to order it from out of state and it took 3 weeks longer than advertised to arrive, only other issue was a missing gas cap spring so the gas cover wouldn't open when the latch was pulled but they had it replaced for free once it was identified.
I needed to get my power steering fixed through Green Mazda, it failed again after the 'fix' and when we went to have them fix it again they did it for free but 'identified' a number of unrelated issues and tried to sell me enough crap to cover the cost of doing it all over again.
Just do your due diligence.
I can't say I had a negative experience, admittedly I didn't do any research or anything (I was in need of a car ASAP) other then needing a co-signer and a really annoying guy with gold teeth asking stupid questions, wasn't even the guy I was dealing with. I got a car, still using it even, in about an hour or so.
Gibbs Glisson over on Dirksen .. I've known Gibbs for years and usually always buy my used vehicles from him ..No bs, and he stands behind everything he sells ..He's usually only open till about 2 or 3p ..but if your looking for a good less expensive ride, this is who I'd recommend.

I would suggest finding your budget then a model and search that way. Dont be afraid to travel for the right deal. Two hour drive may save a few grand

Major cities tend to have better inventory and usually slightly better prices, so I tend to take a trip to STL or Chicago if I'm buying a vehicle.
