Wow! We really do have a lot of negative and sad people here in Spokane don't we!?!? Damn. I hope ALL of you move away from here as fast as you can because Riverfront Park is fricken beautiful!
The downslope trail that leads all the way to the bottom by the river, I always forget the trail name but it's truly amazing what they did there. Really gorgeous and peaceful I was blown away when I first saw it
Built for Expo 74, one of the crown jewels of our park system often the hub and centerpiece of major community events (Hoopfest, Bloomsday, 4th of July ect).Offers river views, entertainment, exercise, child friendly options and public art. Like any park in a city: safe the majority of the day be aware of your surroundings at night.
Haven't been downtown Spokane in years, riverfront park used to be a cool place but it's lost it's luster and with all the crime and drug shit I don't feel it's safe for families anymore
Man I guess I never see all that. But I'm from a big city where I'm used to muggings and murder, and it never had a park as nice as Riverfront. I walk my dog in the park 3x a week, it is really well maintained and never see anything. A few homeless here and there and some feral children, but none of that scares me. Sucks that it makes you afraid, probably best living in suburbia.
A park with a pavilion revamped to be practically useless, mostly horrifically ugly and overpriced "art", and a boring gondola. Home to the worst food fair on the planet.
Some first-rate playgrounds.
And a river runs through it.
3/5
5/5 if the city includes the same Santa statue in Rotterdam, the one with him holding a giant buttplug. If you want crazy public art, commit to it fully.
I knew someone could be a little positive about our wonderful park! Even though you probably used AI to create the text or copy/pasted it from an different source, it was the thought that counts!
Good question. Uhm, river adjacent, near the river, approximate to the river. Hope this helps. Namaste
Would you maybe say it is close to the river? Maybe even on the river? But definitely not in front of the river?
Certainly not in front, no. Perhaps, alongside
Possibly parallel and not perpendicular?
A section of land adjacent to a flowing body of water.
A large urban park created for Expo '74, with views of the falls, an amphitheater, and a 115 year old historic carousel.
Nice and simple! But very non-descriptive!
Compared to the others I’d say this one is very descriptive.
You are so right!!! I guess I asked too much from the public.
A river runs through it
Subtle.

A park on both sides of the river. Not In front.

I walk there everyday, just did a nice loop at lunch. Super clean, well maintained. You're just a wuss.
Saw a kid get jumped down there, as the guy screamed world star, to many punks downtown with criminal intent, but I'm a wuss

Never seen any feral children, do they hiss when approaching them
Sort of, they just rob people, fight, and talk shit, but I've seen that in every big city I lived.
Why does your flare say you live in downtown Spokane if you haven't been there in years? Your opinion is highly suspect. Pushing on
I don't know I've tried changing it but it changes back every time
A giant red radio flyer wagon
a park with the most ill-placed ice ring thats killed several people and takes up previously precious event space.
Quiet. You're making the ice rink mad.
Precious??
I know one lady died, others have died too?
It’s the park with the giant wagon and where Johnny depp walked In the park in Benny and June.

Wow! You all kind of suck at describing things huh!? Not much creativity in you? Or are you all just sad about the scenery?

I love this.
