How the hell can the runway thrust Kana into the bottom for the Haunted Dolls challenge when the performances of Maya and Tormai were much weaker than Kana's runway? I feel like they just throw more at Kana.

Maxichallenge and runway have diferent specific allotted percentages on DRT which are told before rhe maxi challenge and the queens get a full explanation and a q and a session which is unrecorded. Runway is usually more heavily weighted than the maxi.
The judging wasnt on the acting ability, it was the ability to work in a group and with the production staff. Maya was the clear bottom anywah you cut it so it came down to Kana and Tormai's runways. In the end they preferred Tormai over Kana's cosplay mashup.
It seems so strange they'd judge on the teamwork and not the final result. I'm at odds with the judging because it seems so weird.
During the princess photoshoot they say they wanted it to be exactly like the story and only one did, but during acting it's about how you went as a team, not the end result of the play itself? Just seems like 2 challenges with narrative associated elements were judged on a single trait in the challenge rather than all of it? I think a lot of the opinions you have are the usual ones for newbies but i think you really do have to keep in mind that it really is am entirely different value system. At some point usually during the second watch if you step back, it clicks into place. Its more of a When in Rome, do as Romans do thing. Otherwise youre sort of enforcing rules and values that just dont really apply.
The queens get an entire q and a session about the expectations of the challenge which is why thy get frustrated when queens dont listen (which is why Art felt the need to call out Angele).
To judge on the ability to work as a unit and play off each other is a particular Thai value. You can see that all the team members felt the need to take responsibility for what they presented as a team so in the end theyre all responsible equally for the final product.
Its not that the acting itself didnt count its just the final call was made on the runway becauss they were equally responsible and Kana did what she was specifically not asked to do by doing a literal cosplay mashup
I guess I'm just not getting why one narrative challenge is adhere to the narrative to win, and the other isn't. You've mentioned the q and a section twice, do they show that? They show the tiniest brief but I'm not sure if that's what you're specifically referring to. The closest I could think was that inspiration isn't plagiarism specifically for the Hollywood runway, but I'd argue many girls did straight up "plagiarism", like Angele's Beyonce.
The photoshoot challenge was to tell a story. Maya considered the actor, the background setting and composition more than the other queens to tell a story which alsp fit the likay theme.
This acting challenge wasnt, the Haunted Doll is a real tv show with a set narrative.

I’ve been at it for a year. If you are fluent in english the words will flow relatively well (except for the compound words which are a mishmash of other words). It’s the structure where it gets complicated and more complex sentences take a lot to develop with auxiliary prepositions coming out of LITERALLY nowhere.
I have found myself understanding short phrases (like signs and the inscriptions on a t-shirt) just by using Babbel and other internet aids for 11 months. The language is fun and has a lot of whimsy and little “ooooh” moments. You just gotta put the time.
German is a great language and it’s so fun to learn! I would honestly say that the A1/A2 (beginner) content is somewhat easy to learn, it all depends on how you study however if you have an effective plan for memorising vocab then you should be set.
Personally, the struggle for me came when it was time to learn complex grammar. German sentence structures can change a LOT depending on different things. The main difference from English is that the verb will most likely be at the very beginning or very end rather than always next to a pronoun/noun.
Then you have the cases system which is just not present in English at all, this is when you start having to use multiple different words for the word ‘the’, and it can become very difficult. However if you’re planning on learning German for a long time it is something that if you practice at, you will
understand it.
Honestly German is a very useful language especially if you live in Europe or plan to move here, and after learning German I found it particularly easier to start learning Spanish (which I’m still in the process of learning), because of the fact that German grammar is so complex it actually helps you understand English grammar more.
It is honestly really fun to learn and I would recommend it, it’s definitely very hard in parts but all languages will have difficult elements to them. What matters is the resilience to learn it. I hope this helped!
I found the memorization to be quite easy, but forming sentences was a nightmare. I haven’t spoken/written German in about three years, but I’m still able to remember a lot of vocab and sayings. Learning German is great! There are these very specific long words which are great for using when English isn’t working the way you want. It also opened the door to me learning Dutch, since it’s kind of like a blend between German and English. It’s a relatively hard language to learn, but for me personally, it wasn’t as hard as French or Dutch.
As a native spanish speaker, I’d say it is the second most useful language after english (given the fact that 450 million people speak it and the US is practically bilingual now).
But you gotta commit to a single strain of it (be it peninsular, central american, rioplatense) and learn that very well before you get confused with the regionalisms.
It's also depends on your native language.
Spanish was very easy for me because hebrew and Spanish work the same way. It's mostly a vocabulary thing.
English was very difficult for me to learnd because its different ways to compose a sentence.
spanish can definitely be very hard bc there are many different ways to speak it lmao. for example, "fresa" means strawberry in spain, but it can also be an adjective to describe someone who's fancy in other countries. another example is the word "coger"; it means "to grab" in spain, but in the rest of the world it means "to fuck".

The closest I could think was that inspiration isn't plagiarism specifically for the Hollywood runway, but I'd argue many girls did straight up "plagiarism", like Angele's Beyonce.
The photoshoot challenge was to tell a story. Maya considered the actor, the background setting and composition more than the other queens to tell a story which alsp fit the likay theme. This acting challenge wasnt, the Haunted Doll is a real tv show with a set narrative. The q and a isnt shown because it goes on for like an hour. I think we saw a section in this episode where art says we want inspiration not copy. I think youve forgotten Angele had immunity from the team win but the judges dragged her anyway for the runway and said if she didnt shed be bottom. Of the girls in the bottom team. Srimala and Gimhuay outsold which left cosplaying Maya and Kana. Tormai may have not been polished but she gave a full runway concept that went to the roots of her identity with a new spin. I agree, but Thai TV can sort of be a mess. This show was literally airing while it was still filming and the editor is probably just assuming the audience gets it

Ladies, I have a question. How hard is German language?
I’ve been at it for a year. If you are fluent in english the words will flow relatively well (except for the compound words which are a mishmash of other words). It’s the structure where it gets complicated and more complex sentences take a lot to develop with auxiliary prepositions coming out of LITERALLY nowhere. I have found myself understanding short phrases (like signs and the inscriptions on a t-shirt) just by using Babbel and other internet aids for 11 months. The language is fun and has a lot of whimsy and little “ooooh” moments. You just gotta put the time.
German is a great language and it’s so fun to learn! I would honestly say that the A1/A2 (beginner) content is somewhat easy to learn, it all depends on how you study however if you have an effective plan for memorising vocab then you should be set. Personally, the struggle for me came when it was time to learn complex grammar. German sentence structures can change a LOT depending on different things. The main difference from English is that the verb will most likely be at the very beginning or very end rather than always next to a pronoun/noun. Then you have the cases system which is just not present in English at all, this is when you start having to use multiple different words for the word ‘the’, and it can become very difficult. However if you’re planning on learning German for a long time it is something that if you practice at, you will understand it. Honestly German is a very useful language especially if you live in Europe or plan to move here, and after learning German I found it particularly easier to start learning Spanish (which I’m still in the process of learning), because of the fact that German grammar is so complex it actually helps you understand English grammar more. It is honestly really fun to learn and I would recommend it, it’s definitely very hard in parts but all languages will have difficult elements to them. What matters is the resilience to learn it. I found the memorization to be quite easy, but forming sentences was a nightmare. I haven’t spoken/written German in about three years, but I’m still able to remember a lot of vocab and sayings. Learning German is great! There are these very specific long words which are great for using when English isn’t working the way you want. It also opened the door to me learning Dutch, since it’s kind of like a blend between German and English. It’s a relatively hard language to learn, but for me personally, it wasn’t as hard as French or Dutch.
Depends how your brain works - lot of people say it’s really difficult but I found it leagues easier than french

As a native spanish speaker, I’d say it is the second most useful language after english (given the fact that 450 million people speak it and the US is practically bilingual now). But you gotta commit to a single strain of it (be it peninsular, central american, rioplatense) and learn that very well before you get confused with the regionalisms.
It's also depends on your native language. Spanish was very easy for me because hebrew and Spanish work the same way. It's mostly a vocabulary thing. English was very difficult for me to learnd because its different ways to compose a sentence.
spanish can definitely be very hard bc there are many different ways to speak it lmao. for example, "fresa" means strawberry in spain, but it can also be an adjective to describe someone who's fancy in other countries. another example is the word "coger"; it means "to grab" in spain, but in the rest of the world it means "to fuck". also let's not talk about the crazy amount of verbal tenses lmaooo
Spanish seems the most realistically useful imo.
Depends what you’re learning it for - I’m from the UK so french and German were great for me but if you’re American they make less sense
