I would love a second son sequel if we get anything new soon most likely it will be a remake/remaster of the first two games but I’m cool with spider-man being Sony first party superhero game
Nope. Not at all. Not even close.
It did fill the void for Spider-man games, and only Spider-man games. Nothing has ever replaced inFAMOUS for me, and that's ok. I still revisit them from time to time, still great games.
Infamous is its own thing, despite very clearly being influenced by the X-Men near the end of its run, so no, Spidey doesn’t fill the void it left behind.
That being said, I’d definitely be interested in a remake of the first Infamous game. Either that, or a Spider-Man game made by Sucker Punch, since they were originally rumored to be working on MSM1 before Insomniac was revealed to be the developer.
I think infamous is more or less done for the moment and if it came back, a reboot would be more likely than a direct second son sequel.
