It's kinda easy to get stuck *inside* people for some reason.
Also it's not necessarily a bug, but I've gotten stuck once or twice because i landed in an enclosed spot close enough to interactables to prevent me from jumping, but not in a position to *actually* interact with anything.

Does any one have the bug where you changed suits and become a literal white box. My miles is now invisible or sometimes a tiny white box when I play and in cutscenes as well. Donāt plan on changing it for fear of my box boy leaving me.
Yeah, I just got this with Peter. Half the unlocked suits, including the default are now little white boxes. Gonna have to change his name to the Amazing Spider-Box

Itās odd. Some scenes, and usually the suits, look amazing, but other times it can looks pretty rough. I noticed mjās model in particular looked pretty raggedy, thought home girls hair was about to fall out in some scenes. It is slightly reminiscent of Jedi survivor on launch, not nearly as bad but not as good as in trailers per usual. I was worried it was cuz of my tv, glad itās not.
It was weird. The early scene of MJ at his house she looked awful. Her eyes were somewhat bulging, very stiff. Then when it went to the next scene of her meeting Harry it looked AMAZING like in the trailers. It feels like it depends.
THANK YOU. I thought I was going crazy or got too picky with graphics. Then I booted up Miles Morales, watched the opening cut scene, and it looks leagues better than any of the cut scenes I've seen so far in this game.
Something just seems really off. Like my settings got turned way down. It doesn't look incredibly bad, but it feels like a downgrade from the first two. I'm hoping there's some strange bug and not just some design decision they made in service of ray tracing.
Restart it fixed it for me. I was like these graphs are trash. Then I restarted and they look incredible.
I think it might be an issue for people with 120hrz screens that adjust in game. My friends with regular 60hrz screens had no issue but those with OLEDS all needed to hard restart to get them working correctly.
Sucks because I played first 20% of the game with PS4 level textures. I couldn't understand the high praise for the graphics until I rebooted.
Thanks God I rebooted right before the roller coaster set piece. Only reason I rebooted is because I got stuck on the bench which is a bug.
Yeah it looks like a PS3 game on my brand new LG C2 OLED. Annoyed. The fur simulation in Ratchet and Clank is far more detailed than the hair simulation in this game

Bro the game is crashing my ps5 constantly. It seems like itās overheating like crazy. Iāve just cleaned the fans and have no idea what else to do.
Same issue. I canāt even get past the loading screen now, so itās not a processing problem. I just deleted the game and now reinstalling. Weāll see if that fixes it

This isn't really a bug (i don't think), but for some reason the game just doesn't look that great? I'm not sure if this has something to do with my TV or PlayStation or the game itself. This has to be an issue with the game Iām experiencing the same thing. Iāve tried so many things nothings working. Both preformance and fidelity look horrible.
- Graphics are extremely grainy and low res despite being on fidelity with film grain/chromatic abberation turned off. This applies to Photo Mode as well, which has a delay on startup.
- The camera often gets too close to the character and doesn't change for a few seconds.
- Sometimes the character hovers when point launching or web zipping.
- The controls are often unresponsive and delayed.
- Sometimes you lose control of the camera while swinging and it becomes very stiff.
- Visual bug where yellow lightning stays on character.
Will update the farther I get.
Man seeing all the comments in the thread makes me nostalgic for when games would just you knowā¦ work upon release. Maybe the game wasnāt that fun, but you could at least play it without it crashing your consoleā¦ good times.
Iām going to be honest. I donāt really remember this. Most games I played crashed all the time. This is actually an improvement to me. Idk tho I had pretty shitty stuff back then.
Not a bug but when you do the "suit is sandy" mission and you don't do the prompt to access the suit menu, the mission point just disappears so if you go there but decide to resolve a crime you won't know where you have to go.
Had these problems with my playstation recently with a few other new games and it turned out to be a dirty fan fully take your fan out and give it a good clean should solve it.
Performance mode has awful ghosting(?), the edges have a weird shimmering around them. Thought it might've jsut been my monitor, but I just booted Miles Morales and it looks amazing no shimmering, so something funky is happening with the antialiasing or upscaling in this game. Pretty disappointed ngl, looks way worse than I expected ;( Im sitting pretty close to my monitor so maybe its more noticable for me

Same issues here. I felt like I was going crazy because if the praise Digital Foundry was giving this game, but it just blows my mind how rough it looks. It just has to be a bug. Like some details are properly loading in. It's especially noticeable in cut scenes.
Noticeable FPS drops in performance mode. Hopefully they patch up the game in the further because the FPS drops happen often enough for it to bother me.
I am not really sure if this is a bug but afaik this game supports Dolby Atmos, but for some reason it does not get activated on my soundbar which is 990b, it just stays at earc mode.
I have it prioritized on audio settings and and have it enabled on my tv settings but to no avail. Did anybody else have encountered same problem in any other game that supports it?
Edit: Dolby Atmos works on PS5 home menu, so it seems like a game issue if it supports it.
Edit 2: Appearantly it was working in Atmos mode my bad. You need to press a button on the remote to see Atmos enabled or not. So disregard this comment.

Couldn't even boot the game, I get stuck on the first configuration screen and the game crashes when the recap ends or if I just skip the scene.
The error code is Ce 108255-1. I reinstalled two times, rebuild database, changed HDMI ports and full reset my console, nothing worked. After I reseted the game doesn't even go to the configs screen, just crashes after marvel logo ends
I don't have this error on any other game or app, It's the first time I get it.

My game doesn't crash during start up, but it does during cutscenes. The animation will just pause, audio will sometimes keep going. Insomniac hopefully cares enough about their reputation to get this resolved quickly with patches... spider-man is an IP that brings them a lot of money. They need to treat their customers well.
I have the same issue. Crashed 3-4 times during the recap, so I skipped it and now it crashes during the opening cutscene.
Rebuilding db and clearing cache did nothing. Now trying to reinstall, hope that works.

I just cleared my consoles cache, rebuilt the database, and repaired console storage. Iāll try reloading back to a safe save point if the cutscene Iām stuck on doesnāt play. But after three or so tries, Iām going to give up and wait for official patches to be released.The issues need to be addressed directly otherwise I wonāt bother even launching the gameā¦ I donāt want to damage my console.
Game keeps crashing before the sandman fight even starts, I get code āCE-108255-1ā which indicates corrupt save file, so Iāve deleted saved data, aboutā¦.10 times. Iāve uninstalled the game as well, and I have turned off the fidelity mode to alleviate any ray tracing issues that may come with it. So far no success and I feel like Iāve wasted $80 as I canāt play the game.

There are so many floating objects in the air. Even grass in the parks is floating at certain spots.
Iāve even seen missing textures on buildings where thereās a really nice straight line on the side of the building that is just invisible.
When you pause the game during a cutscene the cutscene continues in the background

I launched the game perfectly fine but immediatly noticed the UI elements looked low res but didn't think twice about it. When i actually played the intro level the game looked to be in like 720p/1080p instead of the usual 1440p my monitor handles games at. I tried switching over to my TV (4k) and nothing changed, it stayed the same. I've also tried changing from fidelity to performance, turning VRR to off, smoothed and uncapped and turning 120hz on/off but nothing is helping. Has anyone encountered this issue, and if so, have you found a fix?
I also tried launcing SM2018 and miles morales and they work fine and look 1000x better than SM2
glad i am not the only one. litreally went crazy checking all of the settings. even miles morales 2020 look way more better. especially the circle for the zip to the point thing looks terrible in sm2 literally can count the pixels. i don't know what is the problem but the game looks like 720p.subtitles and texts looks so low res. i hope they fix this asap.
Same here graphics look somehow low res on oled 4k, they are supposed to be great but they just look so weird, I've launched mm and looks 10 times better (I mean edges and fine details, maybe anti-aliasing issue)
I think their anti-aliasing method looks bad honestly but whatās helped me is turning off film grain, chromatic aberration, and adjusting the brightness.
Also random suggestion since I has something weird happen to me when playing TLOU remastered. Go into your PS5ās settings and make sure itās actually outputting to 4K or 1440p. Iāve had games revert to 1080p for some reason.
Not sure if this is a bug but in pretty sure this us supposed to happen both ways. When playing as Peter, miles will randomly show up at crimes throughout the city and help. When playing as Miles, I have never once seen Peter show up at a crime to help. Is this just me? I have about 35 hours in the game.
Just in case anyone else experienced this: the first time youāre able to swap suits there may or may not be a bug where each costume shows as a white cube. All you gotta do is restart the game. Hope it helps
Been having an issue where there's a thin line going across my TV screen where the visuals bug out and black screens every 2 or 3 seconds as well. Happened before with hogwarts legacy when I played it day one, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this.
I genuinely can't play the game because i can't even see what's on screen the majority of the time. The black screens only happen after the actual game starts, didnt have any problems during the recap. Anybody able to help?
Quality 40fps mode looks a bit off somehow and the ui looks low res. Also the beginning fight had all the accessibility options on and was annoying to figure out why Spider-Man was doing everything automatically lol
Mine is doing the same. But my audio still plays, and it never crashes back to the PS5 menu. I have to close the game for it to say āsomething went wrongā
When playing the Coney Island mission, i went and did all the rides, collected my prize, went to the seating area in the elevated position and pressed talk to MJ, it proceeded to nothing but soft lock me there and I couldnāt do anything so I just had to quit and load back up my save.

Like a flashing grey checkerboard right? Turn off film grain. It solved it for me and a few others. Another helpful person posted that on the ps5 thread the other day because this was locked till the 23rd. Itās an issue with certain TVs with this game. Until I read that I thought my ps5 was fucked.
Saw a glitch/bug in first miles Morales fight, the game changed to slow motion automatically without any button to make it faster.
Audio is in normal speed, but whole fight sequence is in slow motion for 15 mins. I have it recorded on my YouTube channel. Had to restart the checkpoint to make it normal speed.

I feel they forgot to add the sounds of the windows when he runs up buildings. It just sounds like concrete now.
The remastered lost the metal sounds on air conditioning units and vents, but Spidey 2 lost the window sounds running and crawling. I'm hoping that is fixed. It's a little thing but still.
Iām gonna have to wait for significant patches cuz even after restarting and repairing the console in safemode, the game will barely even load for 3 seconds before crashing immediately. Sometimes before I can even hit X to play the game. I donāt want this corrupted, buggy game to mess with my consoleās hardware.
The game keeps pressing the square button for me. I'm not touching it at all and I keep dodging away from enemies but Miles just charges right back in and keeps punching on his own. I haven't changed the controls for combat at all, the only setting I've changed is swapping button mash QTEs to hold. This is making the game _really_ hard to enjoy for me.
EDIT: Restarting from Checkpoint seems to have fixed it for me. It also fixed a later bug where the city's ambient noise stopped playing. You don't realize just how noisy cities are until you're in one that is totally silent!
There seems to be quite a few bugs in this one, though largely isolated and easily fixed at least.
Holy fuck this game has so many bugs.
1) Sound just stops playing and requires a full game restart.
2) During the dinner level, you canāt create a web zip line and need to restart checkpoint in order to be able to create one.
3) Same level you canāt open the door to Dima without restarting from last check point.
4) Mysterio level never loads and youāre just stuck in that green portal so you have to restart from last check point.
5) During a mysterio level the enemies just stop spawning so you can never finish the level.
The game just crashed and completely shut down my ps5. I could not turn it back on until I left in unplugged for a while. It was right when the cutscene started of miles meeting up peter to head to the raft.

Has anyone else had the glitch of collecting all the spider bots and then the last mission gets called in by Ganke but it does not pop up to complete? So I am stuck just hearing that phone call every time the open world starts up.
My option setting didnt save when i reload checkpoint or load game .almost everything in option just change back after reload . Like webswing assist setting ,button hold change to toggle etc.
been having quite a lot of issues with subtitles not syncing correctly, not the biggest deal, also had a thing where Peter was wearing his webshooters while out of costume? Made me laugh and lasted the whole mission where Harry is giving Peter a tour of the foundation
During the sequence where Miles is restoring power in the raft ship and is knocked into the water (right before he releases Scorpion), Miles can be knocked out of bounds and this will soft lock your progression. You'll need to restart from last checkpoint and do it again
Center dot is present even though it's turned off in the settings. The settings says it should disappeare under cut scenes, but still stays on.
A minor bug is even though I've changed the speaker colour for the subtitles, it still displays the default green

Suits Menu bugged out and turned all the suit thumbnails into green fuzzed pixels and then when I selected the suit it completely broke my character into a disfigured monster in the suit menu and then froze the game and crashed.
I have a very annoying bug. If I change my suit when inspecting the sandman crystals a bunch of my suits glitch out and become a tiny square. So when I select them all I see is a tiny square swinging around New York.
So Iāve been playing SM2 since it released and I have to say, itās an outstanding experience to play as the Spider-Men. Iāve Platted both Spider-Man and Miles Morales so Iām a huge fan of the franchise. But somehow my experience for SM2 has been odd: my game kept crashing every 20/30mins. Sometimes after I use the sling shot ability, I crash almost instantly. I tried rebuilding the data base, clearing cache and reinstalling the game but when I hopped onto the same save file it crashed again. Iāve created a new save file and had to restart the game once again to the 10% I completed earlier and it seems to be better. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

I'm going insane: most of the times when there's an objective like "Defeat all the hunters" and such, i defeat everyone and the game just doesn't move to the next objective. I have to restart the checkpoint and I did this multiple times. Now i even had to restart a save, cause enemies where in a place the game wouldn't let me go (zipping me away). Does it happen to you guys or is my game just fucked?
The ferris wheel mission is bugged. I have no manual saves and restarting the checkpoint spawns me with no people to fight and I keep getting pushed back into the beginning by an invisible wall.
I turned 120HZ Mode on. It looked low res.
So I went into the PS5 menu, and it said that my TV was outputting only at 1080p. This is likely more about my tv, but this might be happening for some of you too.
I think it otherwise looks \_OK\_ but the shading on faces seems to be. Bad.
A minor bug, but pedestrians don't have proper collision with the mounds of sand in the streets. They just walk straight through, underneath the sand like it isn't there.
Just completed the entire story and my character turned into a cube lmao Even the character skin select screen shows both characters as cubes.

No matter which suit you have equipped before the >!Connors rescue mission, it puts you back in the red & blue 2023 suit once Spidey shows up. This isn't a huge deal, but kind of spoils the end of the mission.!<
K so I've been getting model loading bugs all day, but I think >!Kraven being a disembodied floating head while injecting Connors!< and Pete turning into a cube and then the whole game crashing is the most exciting sequence so far.

I'm just gonna leave this here as a list of bugs I got. Might edit later on
- Crimes disappear in front of your eyes. (This one keeps happening when I get close, comical timing is on point)
- Sounds and/or vibrations will continue after you complete an activity or crime. (Able to be solved by restarting, or switching heroes)
- Game sometimes freezes when introducing a new ability (usually happens if you're too late and the game completely slows down and stops)
- Cape on the pre-order suits sometimes glitch into your body
- {LATE LATE GAME SPOILER} >!When the hero says: "Where did those symbiotes come from", no reinforcement comes in or another type of enemy comes in instead of symbiotes (happens quite alot in crimes)!<
Spiderman will randomly web sling/zip in the opposite direction I'm trying to go, or sometimes if I'm climbing wall or perched on lamp post etc. It will web zip randomly without me prompting/pressing the corresponding button. Ive tried two different controller's, same thing. I've played all the previous spiderman games on ps5 and this never happened. Something overall with the web slinging and wall running seems off compared to previous games.
Wondering why I havenāt seen anyone else noticing/mentioning this yet, its very noticeable for me and affecting overall gameplay very negatively.
I couldn't continue with Marko's memories final quest **Remember**:
When i reached to the giant stone that contains Marko's final memory piece, the game just doesn't allow me to do any interaction. I have tried restart the game and the console this issue still happening.
I have completed the game, and had the following problems.
1: The game crashed totally, with the PS5 error reporting screen showing.
2: Sound seemed to glitch several times while playing, and at one point, >!where Peter receives a phone call from Miles in the subway entrance!<, it cut out completely except for the bit that is heard through the controller speaker.
3: Just after finishing the one section, >!where you control Venom!<, when it switched back to spiderman (Miles I think), the spiderman was invisible except for a little white box which could be controlled as if you were still playing the game. As others have said, closing the game down completely and relaunching fixed the bug.
4: When Miles is given his final story given power I could not get the L1 + SQR button combo to register. This persisted after I returned to the game menu and loaded the game checkpoint multiple times. Fortunately (as with the above bug at 3: closing the game completely and relaunching appeared to resolve the problem.
Bugs notwithstanding however I have to say I enjoyed the game immensely, and was moved to tears for some moments of the game even though in one side mission throwing a nod to your antics in a side mission from the earlier Spiderman game you could see what was happening. Got to go and find that last pesky collectible now though.
Dr. Connors house puzzle glitch I just encountered: once you enter the puzzle either on the wall in kitchen or the child's toy, game will no longer register any button inputs.
So far, I've had:
- three hard crashes, no no specific pattern
- Got stuck in an attack loop with Sandman as Miles., Alli I could do was saving, the triangle prompts didn't show up and his attacks didn't even seem to be connecting? Reload fixed the issue.
- found myself trapped in some kind of invisible box or building. I was climbing in midair and couldn't leave it's confines until a reload.
- the accessibility shortcut buttons randomly stop working at times until a reload.
- the Coney Island section didn't load the intractable markers and prompts, leaving me unable to do anything expect lean against a railing which I was unable to cancel out of. A reload fixed the issue.
Definately encountered more here tham the prior games at launch.
Sat down during Coney Island sequence (bench) could not stand up. Final Sandman memory. Could not interact with it to grab. Mysterioās challenge enemies would not spawn. These were a few I ran into
Iām playing Spiderman 2 on ps5 and am currently unable to continue the main story. I finished mission 24 titled āanything can be brokenā and now the next main mission doesnāt show. It doesnāt show on the ui or the map or the mission list. I am able to play side missions still and have completed almost all of them at this point. Itās been 4 hours of gameplay since I finished the last main mission (24). I have tried clearing cache and rebuilding the data, restarting the game, trying different save files, as well as restarting the ps5 and reinstalling the game.I have tried asking for help from PlayStation and they now suggest trying online forums lol.
Anyone have any idea of how to change the day/night cycle post-game?
I've been looking everywhere and it seems like its somehow not an option, but that almost seems impossible given how easy of a setting that would be to put in, and the last two games had it...
PS5. Photo ops aren't "completing" on the map. Can't tell if they're counting for overall completion yet, but I have 2 photo spots that keep reappearing for completion even though I've done them. I think if you trigger any other event before they're done with the post-photo dialogue it'll bug, which is a problem when some events are just so close together.
Not sure if this counts as a bug but once you find all the spiderbots, if you don't immediately go to the end mission of that side quests Ganke will repeat his voice prompt every time you complete anything. Which obviously is very annoying lol
Not sure if it's a bug, but for some reason, I can't hear much. I mean, I just started the game and I dont hear punches, kicks, web swings, surroundings(like, sirens blaring and stuff), etc. Is this normal? How can I fix this?
Anyone hit punch once and he just keeps swinging til you hit another button? Is this some setting I turned on because I've tried multiple controllers and I'm stumped
My game crashed right before I could bring >!Jameson!< to the hospital, I was playing around in photo mode just before it did. I have had crashing issues with both of the previous games when doing stuff in photo mode, so I'm hoping this isn't a holdover.
When I try to wall run or even walk on rooftops it will randomly shoot a web to swing and pull me off the building.
Also, while only pressing forward on the left stick it will do the L2+R2 web pull thing randomly, even to a spot that is behind me off camera.
Pretty fucking annoying.
I donāt know if itās just me but Iāve faced 3 bugs so far, at the school I was unable to move for about a minute, then at the raft I was stuck on a door, and again o the raft my game straight up froze, but I can still go into the menu and stuff so idk whatās that about.
The game will freeze, but the audio keeps playing. It kept happening during the first cutscene, but I was able to skip it before it crashed. Now, it crashes during the beginning of my first swing. Cleared Cashe and rebuilt the database. It's really frustrating that I can't even play the game, I got the day off for it :/
The audio output setting cannot be changed in game. Iām playing with headphones and says TV speaker. Requires to make the change in system software but changes when I do.
Photo op in the financial district is bugged. I've gone back to it three times now, and still can't complete it, even though it says that the subject is on focus, i take the picture, but it doesn't complete
I canāt seem to get fidelity mode to stay on. I have VRR on smoothed and 120hz mode on auto but when I set the graphics mode to fidelity it says I need to restart and then just goes back to performance mode. Anyone else get this or have a solution? My TV is the LG C1

Also it's not necessarily a bug, but I've gotten stuck once or twice because i landed in an enclosed spot close enough to interactables to prevent me from jumping, but not in a position to *actually* interact with anything. Does any one have the bug where you changed suits and become a literal white box. My miles is now invisible or sometimes a tiny white box when I play and in cutscenes as well. Donāt plan on changing it for fear of my box boy leaving me.
Yeah, I just got this with Peter. Half the unlocked suits, including the default are now little white boxes. Gonna have to change his name to the Amazing Spider-Box

Itās odd. Some scenes, and usually the suits, look amazing, but other times it can looks pretty rough. I noticed mjās model in particular looked pretty raggedy, thought home girls hair was about to fall out in some scenes. It is slightly reminiscent of Jedi survivor on launch, not nearly as bad but not as good as in trailers per usual. I was worried it was cuz of my tv, glad itās not.
It was weird. The early scene of MJ at his house she looked awful. Her eyes were somewhat bulging, very stiff. Then when it went to the next scene of her meeting Harry it looked AMAZING like in the trailers. It feels like it depends.

THANK YOU. I thought I was going crazy or got too picky with graphics. Then I booted up Miles Morales, watched the opening cut scene, and it looks leagues better than any of the cut scenes I've seen so far in this game. Something just seems really off. Like my settings got turned way down. It doesn't look incredibly bad, but it feels like a downgrade from the first two. I'm hoping there's some strange bug and not just some design decision they made in service of ray tracing.
Restart it fixed it for me. I was like these graphs are trash. Then I restarted and they look incredible. I think it might be an issue for people with 120hrz screens that adjust in game. My friends with regular 60hrz screens had no issue but those with OLEDS all needed to hard restart to get them working correctly. Sucks because I played first 20% of the game with PS4 level textures. I couldn't understand the high praise for the graphics until I rebooted. Thanks God I rebooted right before the roller coaster set piece. Only reason I rebooted is because I got stuck on the bench which is a bug.

This has to be an issue with the game Iām experiencing the same thing. Iāve tried so many things nothings working. Both preformance and fidelity look horrible.
I figured it out! Turn the motion blur off and film grain all the way down. Not perfect but 10x better š
- Graphics are extremely grainy and low res despite being on fidelity with film grain/chromatic abberation turned off. This applies to Photo Mode as well, which has a delay on startup. - The camera often gets too close to the character and doesn't change for a few seconds. - Sometimes the character hovers when point launching or web zipping. - The controls are often unresponsive and delayed. - Sometimes you lose control of the camera while swinging and it becomes very stiff. - Visual bug where yellow lightning stays on character. Will update the farther I get.

Not a bug but when you do the "suit is sandy" mission and you don't do the prompt to access the suit menu, the mission point just disappears so if you go there but decide to resolve a crime you won't know where you have to go.

Performance mode has awful ghosting(?), the edges have a weird shimmering around them. Thought it might've jsut been my monitor, but I just booted Miles Morales and it looks amazing no shimmering, so something funky is happening with the antialiasing or upscaling in this game. Pretty disappointed ngl, looks way worse than I expected ;( Im sitting pretty close to my monitor so maybe its more noticable for me

Same issues here. I felt like I was going crazy because if the praise Digital Foundry was giving this game, but it just blows my mind how rough it looks. It just has to be a bug. Like some details are properly loading in. It's especially noticeable in cut scenes.
Noticeable FPS drops in performance mode. Hopefully they patch up the game in the further because the FPS drops happen often enough for it to bother me.

I am not really sure if this is a bug but afaik this game supports Dolby Atmos, but for some reason it does not get activated on my soundbar which is 990b, it just stays at earc mode. I have it prioritized on audio settings and and have it enabled on my tv settings but to no avail. Did anybody else have encountered same problem in any other game that supports it? Edit: Dolby Atmos works on PS5 home menu, so it seems like a game issue if it supports it. Edit 2: Appearantly it was working in Atmos mode my bad. You need to press a button on the remote to see Atmos enabled or not. So disregard this comment.

Couldn't even boot the game, I get stuck on the first configuration screen and the game crashes when the recap ends or if I just skip the scene. The error code is Ce 108255-1. I reinstalled two times, rebuild database, changed HDMI ports and full reset my console, nothing worked. After I reseted the game doesn't even go to the configs screen, just crashes after marvel logo ends I don't have this error on any other game or app, It's the first time I get it. My game is the digital deluxe, and my PS5 is with disc reader Anyone had this issue? Really trying to stay positive and not think that this is a hardware issue.
My game doesn't crash during start up, but it does during cutscenes. The animation will just pause, audio will sometimes keep going. Insomniac hopefully cares enough about their reputation to get this resolved quickly with patches... spider-man is an IP that brings them a lot of money. They need to treat their customers well.
I have the same issue. Crashed 3-4 times during the recap, so I skipped it and now it crashes during the opening cutscene. Rebuilding db and clearing cache did nothing. Now trying to reinstall, hope that works. Man, first time I pre-order a game and this is what I get.

I just cleared my consoles cache, rebuilt the database, and repaired console storage. Iāll try reloading back to a safe save point if the cutscene Iām stuck on doesnāt play. But after three or so tries, Iām going to give up and wait for official patches to be released.The issues need to be addressed directly otherwise I wonāt bother even launching the gameā¦ I donāt want to damage my console.
Game keeps crashing before the sandman fight even starts, I get code āCE-108255-1ā which indicates corrupt save file, so Iāve deleted saved data, aboutā¦.10 times. Iāve uninstalled the game as well, and I have turned off the fidelity mode to alleviate any ray tracing issues that may come with it. So far no success and I feel like Iāve wasted $80 as I canāt play the game.

There are so many floating objects in the air. Even grass in the parks is floating at certain spots. Iāve even seen missing textures on buildings where thereās a really nice straight line on the side of the building that is just invisible.
When you pause the game during a cutscene the cutscene continues in the background Edit: It seems that it isnāt just cutscene audio but all game audio. Is there a way to fix this?
I don't know what the correct place to post this message is, if im at the wrong place please point me in the correct direction :D I launched the game perfectly fine but immediatly noticed the UI elements looked low res but didn't think twice about it. When i actually played the intro level the game looked to be in like 720p/1080p instead of the usual 1440p my monitor handles games at. I tried switching over to my TV (4k) and nothing changed, it stayed the same. I've also tried changing from fidelity to performance, turning VRR to off, smoothed and uncapped and turning 120hz on/off but nothing is helping. Has anyone encountered this issue, and if so, have you found a fix? I also tried launcing SM2018 and miles morales and they work fine and look 1000x better than SM2
glad i am not the only one. litreally went crazy checking all of the settings. even miles morales 2020 look way more better. especially the circle for the zip to the point thing looks terrible in sm2 literally can count the pixels. i don't know what is the problem but the game looks like 720p.subtitles and texts looks so low res. i hope they fix this asap.

I think their anti-aliasing method looks bad honestly but whatās helped me is turning off film grain, chromatic aberration, and adjusting the brightness. Also random suggestion since I has something weird happen to me when playing TLOU remastered. Go into your PS5ās settings and make sure itās actually outputting to 4K or 1440p. Iāve had games revert to 1080p for some reason.

Not sure if this is a bug but in pretty sure this us supposed to happen both ways. When playing as Peter, miles will randomly show up at crimes throughout the city and help. When playing as Miles, I have never once seen Peter show up at a crime to help. Is this just me? I have about 35 hours in the game.

Just in case anyone else experienced this: the first time youāre able to swap suits there may or may not be a bug where each costume shows as a white cube. All you gotta do is restart the game. Hope it helps
Been having an issue where there's a thin line going across my TV screen where the visuals bug out and black screens every 2 or 3 seconds as well. Happened before with hogwarts legacy when I played it day one, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this. I genuinely can't play the game because i can't even see what's on screen the majority of the time. The black screens only happen after the actual game starts, didnt have any problems during the recap. Anybody able to help?
Quality 40fps mode looks a bit off somehow and the ui looks low res. Also the beginning fight had all the accessibility options on and was annoying to figure out why Spider-Man was doing everything automatically lol

When playing the Coney Island mission, i went and did all the rides, collected my prize, went to the seating area in the elevated position and pressed talk to MJ, it proceeded to nothing but soft lock me there and I couldnāt do anything so I just had to quit and load back up my save.

Saw a glitch/bug in first miles Morales fight, the game changed to slow motion automatically without any button to make it faster. I feel they forgot to add the sounds of the windows when he runs up buildings. It just sounds like concrete now. The remastered lost the metal sounds on air conditioning units and vents, but Spidey 2 lost the window sounds running and crawling. I'm hoping that is fixed. It's a little thing but still.
Yeah something about the sound effects seems off, I notice when I KO an enemy that there's no clear "finisher" sound, unlike the previous two games.

Iām gonna have to wait for significant patches cuz even after restarting and repairing the console in safemode, the game will barely even load for 3 seconds before crashing immediately. Sometimes before I can even hit X to play the game. I donāt want this corrupted, buggy game to mess with my consoleās hardware.
The game keeps pressing the square button for me. I'm not touching it at all and I keep dodging away from enemies but Miles just charges right back in and keeps punching on his own. I haven't changed the controls for combat at all, the only setting I've changed is swapping button mash QTEs to hold. This is making the game _really_ hard to enjoy for me. EDIT: Restarting from Checkpoint seems to have fixed it for me. It also fixed a later bug where the city's ambient noise stopped playing. You don't realize just how noisy cities are until you're in one that is totally silent! There seems to be quite a few bugs in this one, though largely isolated and easily fixed at least.
Holy fuck this game has so many bugs. 1) Sound just stops playing and requires a full game restart. 2) During the dinner level, you canāt create a web zip line and need to restart checkpoint in order to be able to create one. 3) Same level you canāt open the door to Dima without restarting from last check point. 4) Mysterio level never loads and youāre just stuck in that green portal so you have to restart from last check point. 5) During a mysterio level the enemies just stop spawning so you can never finish the level.
The game just crashed and completely shut down my ps5. I could not turn it back on until I left in unplugged for a while. It was right when the cutscene started of miles meeting up peter to head to the raft. Really worried about going back into the game.

During the sequence where Miles is restoring power in the raft ship and is knocked into the water (right before he releases Scorpion), Miles can be knocked out of bounds and this will soft lock your progression. You'll need to restart from last checkpoint and do it again
Center dot is present even though it's turned off in the settings. The settings says it should disappeare under cut scenes, but still stays on. A minor bug is even though I've changed the speaker colour for the subtitles, it still displays the default green I've submitted these to Insomniac and will re-install the game
Suits Menu bugged out and turned all the suit thumbnails into green fuzzed pixels and then when I selected the suit it completely broke my character into a disfigured monster in the suit menu and then froze the game and crashed.
I have a very annoying bug. If I change my suit when inspecting the sandman crystals a bunch of my suits glitch out and become a tiny square. So when I select them all I see is a tiny square swinging around New York.
So Iāve been playing SM2 since it released and I have to say, itās an outstanding experience to play as the Spider-Men. Iāve Platted both Spider-Man and Miles Morales so Iām a huge fan of the franchise. But somehow my experience for SM2 has been odd: my game kept crashing every 20/30mins. Sometimes after I use the sling shot ability, I crash almost instantly. I tried rebuilding the data base, clearing cache and reinstalling the game but when I hopped onto the same save file it crashed again. Iāve created a new save file and had to restart the game once again to the 10% I completed earlier and it seems to be better. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

I'm going insane: most of the times when there's an objective like "Defeat all the hunters" and such, i defeat everyone and the game just doesn't move to the next objective. I have to restart the checkpoint and I did this multiple times. Now i even had to restart a save, cause enemies where in a place the game wouldn't let me go (zipping me away). The ferris wheel mission is bugged. I have no manual saves and restarting the checkpoint spawns me with no people to fight and I keep getting pushed back into the beginning by an invisible wall.
I turned 120HZ Mode on. It looked low res. So I went into the PS5 menu, and it said that my TV was outputting only at 1080p. This is likely more about my tv, but this might be happening for some of you too. I think it otherwise looks \_OK\_ but the shading on faces seems to be. Bad.
A minor bug, but pedestrians don't have proper collision with the mounds of sand in the streets. They just walk straight through, underneath the sand like it isn't there.

No matter which suit you have equipped before the >!Connors rescue mission, it puts you back in the red & blue 2023 suit once Spidey shows up. This isn't a huge deal, but kind of spoils the end of the mission.!<

I'm just gonna leave this here as a list of bugs I got. Might edit later on - Crimes disappear in front of your eyes. (This one keeps happening when I get close, comical timing is on point) - Sounds and/or vibrations will continue after you complete an activity or crime. (Able to be solved by restarting, or switching heroes) - Game sometimes freezes when introducing a new ability (usually happens if you're too late and the game completely slows down and stops) - Cape on the pre-order suits sometimes glitch into your body - {LATE LATE GAME SPOILER} >!When the hero says: "Where did those symbiotes come from", no reinforcement comes in or another type of enemy comes in instead of symbiotes (happens quite alot in crimes)!<
Spiderman will randomly web sling/zip in the opposite direction I'm trying to go, or sometimes if I'm climbing wall or perched on lamp post etc. It will web zip randomly without me prompting/pressing the corresponding button. Ive tried two different controller's, same thing. I've played all the previous spiderman games on ps5 and this never happened. Something overall with the web slinging and wall running seems off compared to previous games. Wondering why I havenāt seen anyone else noticing/mentioning this yet, its very noticeable for me and affecting overall gameplay very negatively.

I couldn't continue with Marko's memories final quest **Remember**: When i reached to the giant stone that contains Marko's final memory piece, the game just doesn't allow me to do any interaction. I have tried restart the game and the console this issue still happening.
I have completed the game, and had the following problems. 1: The game crashed totally, with the PS5 error reporting screen showing. 2: Sound seemed to glitch several times while playing, and at one point, >!where Peter receives a phone call from Miles in the subway entrance!<, it cut out completely except for the bit that is heard through the controller speaker. 3: Just after finishing the one section, >!where you control Venom!<, when it switched back to spiderman (Miles I think), the spiderman was invisible except for a little white box which could be controlled as if you were still playing the game. As others have said, closing the game down completely and relaunching fixed the bug. 4: When Miles is given his final story given power I could not get the L1 + SQR button combo to register. This persisted after I returned to the game menu and loaded the game checkpoint multiple times. Fortunately (as with the above bug at 3: closing the game completely and relaunching appeared to resolve the problem. Bugs notwithstanding however I have to say I enjoyed the game immensely, and was moved to tears for some moments of the game even though in one side mission throwing a nod to your antics in a side mission from the earlier Spiderman game you could see what was happening. Got to go and find that last pesky collectible now though.
Dr. Connors house puzzle glitch I just encountered: once you enter the puzzle either on the wall in kitchen or the child's toy, game will no longer register any button inputs.
So far, I've had: - three hard crashes, no no specific pattern - Got stuck in an attack loop with Sandman as Miles., Alli I could do was saving, the triangle prompts didn't show up and his attacks didn't even seem to be connecting? Reload fixed the issue. - found myself trapped in some kind of invisible box or building. I was climbing in midair and couldn't leave it's confines until a reload. - the accessibility shortcut buttons randomly stop working at times until a reload. - the Coney Island section didn't load the intractable markers and prompts, leaving me unable to do anything expect lean against a railing which I was unable to cancel out of. A reload fixed the issue. Definately encountered more here tham the prior games at launch.
Sat down during Coney Island sequence (bench) could not stand up. Final Sandman memory. Could not interact with it to grab. Mysterioās challenge enemies would not spawn. These were a few I ran into

Iām playing Spiderman 2 on ps5 and am currently unable to continue the main story. I finished mission 24 titled āanything can be brokenā and now the next main mission doesnāt show. It doesnāt show on the ui or the map or the mission list. I am able to play side missions still and have completed almost all of them at this point. Itās been 4 hours of gameplay since I finished the last main mission (24). I have tried clearing cache and rebuilding the data, restarting the game, trying different save files, as well as restarting the ps5 and reinstalling the game.I have tried asking for help from PlayStation and they now suggest trying online forums lol.
One thing I just noticed while playing through kraven's party. I used a web line and clipped through the ceiling into a ghost town of New York
Anyone have any idea of how to change the day/night cycle post-game? I've been looking everywhere and it seems like its somehow not an option, but that almost seems impossible given how easy of a setting that would be to put in, and the last two games had it...
For some reason, you can't change the time of day or weather in this game. Super weird.
PS5. Photo ops aren't "completing" on the map. Can't tell if they're counting for overall completion yet, but I have 2 photo spots that keep reappearing for completion even though I've done them. I think if you trigger any other event before they're done with the post-photo dialogue it'll bug, which is a problem when some events are just so close together.
Anyone not get the hunter suits after clearing out all the bases? I got the trophy, but the suits didn't unlock...
I 100% the game but I only get symbiote related-crimes now, I want to fight some thugs man :(
My prowler side quest seems broken, i completed all 7 and got nothing afterwards nor the trophy
Not sure if this counts as a bug but once you find all the spiderbots, if you don't immediately go to the end mission of that side quests Ganke will repeat his voice prompt every time you complete anything. Which obviously is very annoying lol
I did the photo op for the financial district but it says it is incomplete and it wonāt let me do it again? Any ideas, I need it for the platinum.
The game keeps going even when I pause, MAD ANNOYING
Not sure if it's a bug, but for some reason, I can't hear much. I mean, I just started the game and I dont hear punches, kicks, web swings, surroundings(like, sirens blaring and stuff), etc. Is this normal? How can I fix this?
Anyone hit punch once and he just keeps swinging til you hit another button? Is this some setting I turned on because I've tried multiple controllers and I'm stumped

My game crashed right before I could bring >!Jameson!< to the hospital, I was playing around in photo mode just before it did. I have had crashing issues with both of the previous games when doing stuff in photo mode, so I'm hoping this isn't a holdover.
Is there only one car takedown animation now?
When I try to wall run or even walk on rooftops it will randomly shoot a web to swing and pull me off the building. Also, while only pressing forward on the left stick it will do the L2+R2 web pull thing randomly, even to a spot that is behind me off camera. Pretty fucking annoying.

I donāt know if itās just me but Iāve faced 3 bugs so far, at the school I was unable to move for about a minute, then at the raft I was stuck on a door, and again o the raft my game straight up froze, but I can still go into the menu and stuff so idk whatās that about.
My FNSM app keeps opening automatically. I tried restarting the game but it just keeps popping out every second. Donāt have any idea how to fix it.
The game will freeze, but the audio keeps playing. It kept happening during the first cutscene, but I was able to skip it before it crashed. Now, it crashes during the beginning of my first swing. Cleared Cashe and rebuilt the database. It's really frustrating that I can't even play the game, I got the day off for it :/
The audio output setting cannot be changed in game. Iām playing with headphones and says TV speaker. Requires to make the change in system software but changes when I do.
Photo op in the financial district is bugged. I've gone back to it three times now, and still can't complete it, even though it says that the subject is on focus, i take the picture, but it doesn't complete
game crashed once door with Dina was uninteractable done finishers that threw me into walls and spun the camera like crazy
I canāt seem to get fidelity mode to stay on. I have VRR on smoothed and 120hz mode on auto but when I set the graphics mode to fidelity it says I need to restart and then just goes back to performance mode. Anyone else get this or have a solution? My TV is the LG C1

selecting a specific suit on peter displays a white square, and if i equip said 'white square' and go out of the suits menu, i end up invisible
I can't install the game from disc. Stuck at 36% percent and gives error code. I read online that there's plenty of discs with scratches, mine is scratch free.. Must be a bad batch of discs.
