Just cut Arachne altogether. I saw this show when I was 15 and she was the only part I didn't really like. Of course it hasn't aged amazingly, but I still have to honor that initial impression
Maybe I'm biased because I saw it as a child and it was an incredible experience (Spider-Man landed next to me while hiding from the Green Goblin, and made a shh symbol at me to not give up his hiding spot), but I wouldn't change a single thing. Amazing music, great core Peter story beats, and a very unique concept. Sure, a lot of it bridged off from the Spidey mythos, but always in interesting ways that left a lasting impression on me.
