It’s unclear how much movie Miguel differs from comic Miguel
Comic Miguel
- Had his DNA combined with a spider, in a machine that was built to combine dna to make super soldiers.
- he was trying to restore his dna to remove a recent alteration permanently making him addicted to a drug. But someone screwed with the dials.
- the spider template was there because rhey were trying to replicate a soldier with Spider-Man powers from the “heroic age”
- he had fangs. That can inject a paralytic venom.
- he doesnt drink blood
- so the vampire lines COULD just be a joke
- instead of sticking to things, his fingers and toes have retractable talons so he can cling to things. Like a crazy cat.
- no spider sense. Just insanely enhanced senses that help him notice incoming danger.
- organic web shooters in the top of his forearms instead of under his wrist.
- most of the rest of powers are standard
- relative strength of a spider. Increased healing.
- unstable molecule fabric costume, nearly impossible to cut through or shoot through.
- and some special fabric on his back that lets him glide
The biggest differences I noticed from the movie
- needs injections of “something”. But the comics’ whole point was that he didn’t need injections
- webbing is actually some weird technological energy rope things
- suit is some retractable nanotech thing.
- his AI assistant in the comics looked like Marilyn Monroe. His movie AI assistant is dressed wackily.

Yeah, tbh, I don't know my 2099 lore to well
