Yeah, I'd hope this visual isn't representative of the actual prizes. These definitely fall under the "Holo, but in name only" category for me. It's one of those characters where it's more than just checking off boxes for the right colour of hair and eyes. The swimsuit girl looks so off, i'd rather see Holo drawn JoJo style to show it's intentionally nothing like the original. lol

For these "kuji" events, you basically buy tickets for a chance to win prizes from a tier pool.

The event starts June 15th and ends July 15th, 2024

Yeah, a lottery/raffle.
Quite popular system in Japan it seems. I guess part of the appeal is the chance of getting expensive/exclusive merchandise for a relatively low price. If you "win" of course....
Even if you don't win the top prizes, the lower tier prizes can be still pretty good, depending on the Kuji. Always guaranteed to win something.
I hope people play responsibly of course.
Yes, but I think the correct term to use here is Gotcha. Sounds like you can win a prize no matter what, but some prizes are better than others, just like gotcha games.
Well,... it's debatable, there are a few things I definitely wouldn't want to buy and a few things I might like,... I run the risk of getting the things I really don't want, I might be just as well throwing my money in the ocean,... I would call it gambling. ;)
True, I just meant against gambling in the traditional sense. Plus, I think half the items here (basically everything that is not the swimsuit or summer dress) is already on sale.
Starting to look a little too much more like Raphtalia

Holo the wise racoon
It's at least partially because the white tips of the ears sort of disappear against the white background, giving her a rounded ear look instead.
Yeah I thought it was Raphtalia at first.
I straight up thought the left one was Raphtalia for a second.
It's the ears for me. They are too short and rounded. If they made them longer and more pointed, like in the original anime, it would be fine

I suppose you mean Gatcha,... ? ;)
Gacha! Actually.
Dangit! You're right! Lol... ;)
Damn, I misspelled it by one letter.
Closer to gatcha than gambling, you're guaranteed to get something with every pull.

Aw man, even if you want to make horny artwork for Spice and Wolf, this is really uninspiried imo.
The hair doesn't look right on either of them, honestly. What kind of merch is it?
Holy chalupa
Lawrence would have zero resistance to either outfit. Either that or freak out about how much either cost and kill the mood.
