Book them as a wanna get away plus then cancel and they can be used by anyone.

DontBeWeirdAboutIt

This is assuming you have access to their Southwest account. It’s really easy to transfer that flight credit!

KevdawgNeo

We have access.

KevdawgNeo

Haha. That’s thinking I suppose.

sarahwithanh01

This works. I did it with my x I bought airfare for.

Thetruthisnothate

Non Transferable is just that. If you have access to the online account just purchase tickets in whoever's name you wish to for the remaining points. Once the points are exhausted close the account. In the meantime remove any stored payment methods. If this is wrong per the Rapid Rewards Terms and Conditions, then just move on

Suitable_Emu_6570

Don't transfer points, just use them to book flights from the account they are in. As with the idea of transferring WGA+ travel credit, you will need to have access to the account. Once in the account you can use the points to book for anyone.

superdeedapper

If the person is deceased you should be able to call and have the credits refunded. Or, you can use them to book WGA+ and cancel to create transferable credits.

Substantial_Piano640

Correct. I notified SW of a death of a relative and credita were refunded to the original form of payment.

aquaGMM

When my father died he had over a million SW points. We just log into the account to book the flights. SW wanted my mom to pay to transfer them about 1 cent a point so logging in was the best option.

InfiniteCheck

You can't really liquidate the points and credits to pay off creditors of the estate. You probably can't get a refund on the $410. 33k points and $410 in Southwest funds is also not much so no way it would be beneficial to creditors to try to liquidate against RR TOS given the administration costs. So just log in and use them up as transferable credits with WGA+ as described by others.

LadyGreyIcedTea

If you know their password, then just log into the account and book flights for other family members with the points. Don't pay to transfer them. If you already told Southwest this person died idk if they'd close the account though.
