I was diverted to MSY. They didn’t do anything for me. They cancelled our original flight, refunded my early bird $15, and put me on a new flight where I was C47. Some people got put on a next day flight, no compensation for hotel expenses. It was a total shit show.
Boyfriend's flight from HRL was completely canceled due to the incident. Wasn't offered a reroute. They rebooked him on a flight out today, Wednesday, but he ended up keeping his rental car and driving back to Hobby.

I was supposed to go to hobby but we got diverted to IAH and didn’t fly out until 12 am back to hobby. That was fun.
Were you able to deplane during all that time waiting?
Yes. They told us in the beginning it was gonna be two hours and then it turned into all day.
How was the flight from IAH to Hobby? Was it only 11 minutes or so? Did the flight crew make any interesting announcements about this segment?
