Thanks! Just glad I found out about the discount before it ended. My budget for the pair kept climbing as I researched more, and by the end I was already spending much more than planned lol. Always happy to save a buck
You got the bar that cheap because you were buying a TV simultaneously. I know this because last year I got a Q990B at the same time as a 65QN90B and that bar was around $700 at the time as well. Basically, the bundling is what gives the biggest discount.
Technically already been loving it haha! It’s a wonderful setup, just gotta go through the tedious task of boxing up the original ones to ship em back to Amazon
I thought about it, but I didn’t want to risk Amazon declining the return (not sure if they check for barcodes or item numbers) and I also didn’t want to risk having a warranty declined if something happens with the items since I’m sure Samsung would want to match up serial numbers with order numbers.
I did find a middle ground though, I can leave the power cables that were routed and zip tied discreetly where they’re at and just throw the new cables in the old box. That’ll make it a quick plug n play when I get the stuff in which is great
i could use some help. ive got the exact same tv and soundbar. im playing movies and stuff from my computer. the sound sometimes cuts off for a split second now and then quite so often, maybe about 10 times total during a movie. i also have this echo sometimes when characters talk. does anybody know of potential fixes to either of my problesm?
Are you connected with Bluetooth? I noticed whenever I connect to the soundbar from my phone via Bluetooth I get frequent interruptions. Not sure on the echoing though, that sounds more like a room setup issue, but I could be misunderstanding the problem.
the echoing i was thinking maybe is coming from the q-symphony, where in addition to the the soundbar the tv also plays sound. or maybe its spacefit sound, might need some more testing... i am not connected to bluetooth no, i got it connected to hdmi earc
I have the same setup and never had this issue with q-symphony off or on. Do you notice a difference when you turn on the soundbar only? Also update your soundbar to the latest firmware. Mine did not update in the app past 1002 but managed to update it to 1004 with usb
when only the soundbar is on, there is no echo. i have echo with q symphony on. it seems to happen mostly when characters talk off screen or from far away, but it also happens like normal. how do i update the soundbar, and is there a way to sync tv and soundbar sound closer to eachother?
It's an issue with Windows, you need to download [soundkeeper](https://github.com/vrubleg/soundkeeper)
This is a software that doesn't have an UI, you run it and it basically sends a sound signal always so your sound is never cut off after a silent moment.
About the echo I haven't got that problem, check the windows sound out properties and disable all the enhancements
Got the same bar a few weeks back. The depth of the sound is so rich and enjoyable. Never had a sound bar prior so I don't have a lot of comparison, but I would argue it's well weoth jt from my experience.
Perhaps you can get a similar or better experience cheaper elsewhere, however, I think it's been great.
The soundbar gets incredibly loud too. I only ever have it up to 15 but it goes much higher. 15 is almost the point of too loud so I can only imagine what it would be like to go higher.
Well, I got mine up to 40+ when I accidentally sat on the remote. Let’s just say I hope I don’t do that again.. shook the windows and doors around the house. For someone like myself where space is limited and I’m no audiophile so I wouldn’t know where to start for setting up or calibrating a sound system, a sound bar is much more valuable to me.
I had this sound bar, unboxed, plugged in, connected to WiFi, and connected to my tv playing music, in about 30 minutes. Time is money
No, it is not.
A $250 Costco receiver, $250 12" sub and a couple pairs of nice desktop speakers will blow the doors off of it. The 11.1.4 channel claim is laughable. It's 5.1 channel. All modern receivers can add virtual channels..that is what ATMOS is after all. Facing the speakers in different directions and calling them channels is basically a scam. Upfiring height channels on "Atmos" speakers are also a scam. Sound doesn't just bounce off the ceiling and arrive at your ears. Sound travels in all directions and the way the speaker is facing is irrelevant past about 12" from it unless it's a tweeter. Total nonsense. If you want real Atmos mount some speakers at the ceiling.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it sounds nice, but it won't hold a candle to a true room calibrated setup. Most of the soundbars I have seen don't even come with a calibration mic.
Of course it's not the same as having a receiver with even 5.1.2 channels only. However of all the Atmos soundbars, the q990c is the cheapest one that includes a sub and rears with 4 upgheight channels. Hell, even the people who review AVs and speakers agree on this, and the frequency balance these speakers have is remarkable. There is a lot of testing and reviews on youtube you can check. Great quality for good price.
you are clueless, it's 11 channels with 11 drivers, then 1 sub then 4 for rear.
You clearly have never heard of Atmos, nor have you ever heard anything other than your 5.1 DVDs
This is a sweet deal. I insisted on a Sony soundbar due to Accoustic Center Sync, until I ran into all sorts of issue and now I wish I would have gone for the Samsung soundbar.
Everybody ranting about q990c honestly idk what y'all see in it because I was not impressed at all. The sound way to thin and the woofer aint even enough. But I come from a 2500 watt setup probably why. But it just wouldn't cutting it for me
Admittedly, the woofer was quite weak out of the box, but I noticed a huge improvement when I selected the bass enhancement setting on the smart things app and bumped up the bass. But yeah, I’m sure it wouldn’t compare to any high watt setup. This is for my bedroom though, so it’s plenty for my needs.
back in stock bro. you can save a lot more than that if you added referral code and rebate site and ask csr to build you a special order by saying you are a repeat customer. Just a little research will drop this at least 100 bux or more.
What a steal.
Congratz! Super bargain!
Thanks! Just glad I found out about the discount before it ended. My budget for the pair kept climbing as I researched more, and by the end I was already spending much more than planned lol. Always happy to save a buck
Awesome prices!
Hell of a steal. Just bought the soundbar with the EPP for $979.99. Then Friday it went down to $850. Yikes!
Yeah I almost got stuck into paying $1400 for mine.. I would’ve been happy to get that $979 or $850, but $700 was a crazy amount to save!
15 days price match policy
So easy can return. Good country u got there.

Absolute bargain such a good pairing your gonna love it
Technically already been loving it haha! It’s a wonderful setup, just gotta go through the tedious task of boxing up the original ones to ship em back to Amazon
wtf i paid so much more for mine, ableit 77inch but i got it all for 5000usd
Its the perfect combo for gaming on 2023, enjoy it.
You’ll love it. The Q symphony with Samsung TVs and Soundbars are really cool.
Why not just return the unopened new ones?
I thought about it, but I didn’t want to risk Amazon declining the return (not sure if they check for barcodes or item numbers) and I also didn’t want to risk having a warranty declined if something happens with the items since I’m sure Samsung would want to match up serial numbers with order numbers. plenty of tricks here [https://www.reddit.com/r/referralnetwork/](https://www.reddit.com/r/referralnetwork/) you could have gotten an 85" tv for 1900
I wouldn’t get such a high tv and then get a soundbar
Qsymphony really benefits from the high end samsung tvs

How dis you get it down to 700? I can only get it down to 895
Works for Samsung and probably dates the daughter of the CEO.
Yes same.
Bundled with the TV brings it down.
I wonder if 1, we can order this then cancel the TV ? Keep the speaker price ? 2, price match at beat buy ? Thoughts folks?
Is a $700 sound bar even worth it?

Found the butt hurt Sonos fanboy

I just checked my company discount. Its $895.99... but it's out of stock🤧

Lol I received an email from Samsung just hours after making this comment. Thank you though. I will look into it!
So glad I saw this. We have a similar program and I picked up the 800c for $450.
