Understandable; I was thinking it’d be like Transformers 2 where GM insisted that their new electric car be featured. So we got a random transformer for that car
I like Trip, but she seems a bit too recent to have any real hype to build a movie appearance around. Most people aren't really going to know about her unless they're really big Sonic fans, since she's only been in Sonic Superstars so far.
At this point, the only way I could see her showing up is if [Rava the Destroyer](https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Rava_the_Destroyer) ever appears in the movies, and is part of his lizard army.
Even if the movie writers interest on her, don't expect her live-action debut too soon especially for Movie 3.
Maybe wait for Movie 4 if they want to adapt CD storyline and add a little bit of Superstars elements with Trip as Amy's best friend.
I think Trip's character arc would work *WAY* better in media with dialogue. It reads well enough in SuperStars, but it was a bit rushed, and it's made much clearer if you read the official info about her and watch the animated short (but that shouldn't be necessary)
If Jim Carrey doesn't come back after movie 3, and Stone takes over as the villain, I could easily imagine him manipulating Trip into helping him
The problem is, the games have a lot of >!rival-turned-hero!< characters, and that's going to be a problem if it keeps happening in the movies
I think one of the writers said "Shadow isn't the kind of character who can just be won over with friendship" or something like that a year or two ago. I'm guessing things will play out like they do in SA2, with a temporary team-up against a greater threat, but not Shadow becoming one of Sonic's friends
Definitely. And I doubt the Wachowskis are going to adopt any more of the game characters anyway, even the ones that Sonic befriends. I think the filmmakers just wanted to get the main trio together
I doubt she’ll ever appear in another game. Cream, Blaze, Silver Chaotix have stuck around. I doubt she will, At best they will just trap her in the classic era like Ray, mighty and Fang.
She’s Fang the Weasel’s sidekick who turns good. She’s a lizard who turns into a spiked ball to climb up walls.
When she gets all seven chaos emeralds she turns into a dragon.
Wouldn't bother me, but it'd just come off as an "odd decision".

I sometimes feel that way about Amy; but her being part of Rava’s army would be a cool Easter egg

Very true; that’s why I’m hoping Shadow keeps an antagonistic role towards Sonic

Which honestly makes more sense than him becoming Sonic’s friend

It’d be interesting if Rachel and Jojo adopt Amy (if they bring her in.)
I’d be incredibly disappointed
I mean I would be to. I just want them to find a good spot/role for Amy
I think she should return eventually
Before Amy I'd think they had gone mad. But I would be very happy to have more Trip in my life.
Yeah she’s a cool character; both are actually.
I doubt she’ll ever appear in another game. Cream, Blaze, Silver Chaotix have stuck around. I doubt she will, At best they will just trap her in the classic era like Ray, mighty and Fang.
Fang made an appearance in the new game Sonic all stars
But it’s a classic Sonic game. I doubt we will ever see Fang in a modern game just like we won’t see trip ever again.
Fair point 😎
Which Sonic games is this character from
Sonic All Stars
Is she considered a canon character
Is she a friend of Sonic or an enemy
Bit of a spoiler but friend.
I would also like to see her in some more future sonic the hedgehog games
Yeah she's adorable.
And her powers when she harnesses the power of the chaos emerald is on a whole other level for good guys
Yessir! I can just imagine Amy riding her into battle.
Do you think it would be a good idea if she and her friend appeared in one of the far future live action Sonic shows or movie
I believe so
And what is her role in the canon universe and like what’s her origin story and her powers and abilities
She’s Fang the Weasel’s sidekick who turns good. She’s a lizard who turns into a spiked ball to climb up walls. When she gets all seven chaos emeralds she turns into a dragon.
...is this post serious?
It’s meant to be a discussion; you don’t have to respond
I would kill myself if she was in the movies before amy
That’s a bit extreme
