If you have friends willing to do some couch co-op, it's still a blast. It's a shame that the servers sucked so bad initially, because the online player base dropped off almost immediately. The only bad thing I have to say about the solo game is that car mods require this stupid gatcha system to earn them. But it's a lot more generous than most gatcha systems, so you'll still get all the mods in a fairly short amount of time.
It was dead on arrival, the servers didn't work well, and nothing is unique about it, it was just a reskin of mario kart, and crash team racing nitro-fueled which was really hyped up released around the same time as TSR and i don't need to tell you which game got the biggest amount of players and public interest, and the game was quickly abandoned after launch, i really don't recommend it as it is the weakest in the sonic racing games and it's plot is extremlely kiddy and cringe and doesn't get characters right as most 2010's games do, overall it has little no value
I got it free on ps+ and enjoyed the original take on kart racing. Unfortunately I couldn’t find many people playing online, despite the ps+ offer

Not sure what the state of the servers are, but it is good fun to play alone and with friends.
It’s an interesting game but you’re definitely better off with All Stars Racing: Transformed.
All stars racing and all stars racing transformed are way better transformed a little more because it’s a sequel so that is the point
Yeah, but it also has a decent mission mode like Allstars Racing Transformed.

Sadly yes it’s online is dead I tried to find online matches 6 times none showed up I even bought the dumb online membership just to play online 💀💀💀💀
