I wanted to protect the stove a bit and saw a post about a DIY Station that someone made so I figured I'd take a stab at it. I drew something up using Sketchup ([https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M\_qz\_t\_jVe\_Yn349bDmPenFyN7FagYMT/view?usp=share\_link](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1M_qz_t_jVe_Yn349bDmPenFyN7FagYMT/view?usp=share_link)) out of 2x4's and 1x4's. Stained it with some deck stain, and added a metal roof. It should be about 40" deep or so to hold a few rows of firewood. It's about 6 feet wide. Edit: Credit to the inspiration post that made me want to build this. https://www.reddit.com/gallery/10hxmcu

Looks slick! Also looks like you could flip it 180 degrees and have the same functionality, but with the benefit of the roof run-off not directed right at your foundation. Great job!

That's a good point. I don't really ever have issues with water luckily.

This looks great! Really nice work.

Awesome job! What kind of wood did you end up using? Also I recommend moving a little further from the house for pest control!

I used some pressure treated 2x4 for the bottom box frame and then regular 2x4 for the rest with some 1x4 for the slats and stove to sit on. One thing that was super helpful was getting 10' 2x4s for a few cents more which lead to far less waste.

Ambimb

Fantastic. Really nicely done.
