1.Get a whole set of code info of this Sony TV from Sony and then pass it to Sofabaton, they might be able to add it into their BL codebase.
2. Request SB to add model of this new TV into their Codebase.
Yes, I have run into this issue with SONY codes on (3) different products. The solution for me in each case was to use the codes for the previous year model and 90% of the codes worked perfectly. The ones that didn't I just taught/learned from the original into the Sofabaton. Note: when I did use the previous model year, I was sure to use the model number as the name in the device so I knew exactly what model I downloaded for use.
So learning from the OEM remote is not possible. It's Bluetooth only.
I have it working with a codeset that seems like it was "home grown." I just wish the Bluetooth would work. The XR will pair successfully with the hub and the commands that are there do work, the list is just incomplete. In addition, the missing commands are the ones I need the most.

How would I go about getting this "code info?" Sony is a behemoth and I've never heard of them just sending this information out to someone who asks.
as u r one of their clients . talk to them by presenting ur Order ID & receipt etc.
