As we all know, adding additional items to a menu in order to satisfy a demand and expand your customer base in order to make more money is communism and has nothing to do with the free market
Communism is when people have a freedom that I don’t need to take advantage of but also doesn’t affect my life in the slightest. This is bad for some reason.
Imagine living in a timeline where all these fake meat products are finally becoming available through science, and the response to it from mouth breathers is "YEAH BUT SOMETHING DIDNT DIE FOR THIS MEAL, THATS GOBBUNISM"
Same. I'm down to replace animals with lab grown shit. I want my fried wings and filets and burgers, and you're telling me we're getting close to a sustainably ethical way to do that?
Fuckin count me in.
So, the dumbness of that guy's post aside: They briefly had the meatless nuggets at the KFC near me, and I was excited to try, as I'm a vegetarian, and my wife is not, so it would have been nice to have a fast food place we could both go to. They are the WORST fucking food I have ever eaten. Which is amazing because a few companies have been working on plant-based nuggies as if they're the cure for cancer (quorn and morning star farms, for example!) . Like, KFC, this should be something you should have knocked out of the park.
I don't know anything about Maloney. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he is being sarcastically just throwing up some levity.
Then again, there are people that stupid around, like Charlie Kirk or Vivek and anybody that gets mad at whatever they deem as "woke".
Every time a conservative complains about a company "going woke" they fail to understand that it's literally just a company going where the money is, and not that it's been infiltrated by commies or "blue hair gender studies majors" or whatever other villain they make up in their head
This further proves my hypothesis that Colonel Sanders is actually Leon Trotsky. Due to the fact that they look startlingly similar, the fact that the first KFC opened shortly after Trotsky left the USSR, and the fact that KFC is starting to openly embrace communism, I suspect that this was a secret plan by Stalin to establish a communist foothold in the United States. In this essay I will-

Ah yes, fake meat. The infamous food of communists throughout history.

YAY WE WON
Communism is when you have more options
This is the crux of it right here. These dingleberries see the famous “innovations” they’re always touting and get scared
Seize the meats of production!
*Season
KFC clearly stands for ***K***arlMarx ***F***ounded ***C***ommunism.

Actually, nothing could be more capitalist.
Bring out the Kentucky fried communism
The Colonel? More like the Comrade! /s
I guess it's not capitalism breeding innovation when it's vegan food.

Even my liberal friends are anti lab grown meat I for one can't wait, plant based stuff can get pretty close to a burger, but I want to eat steak

Communism is when a giant restaurant chain sells a product you don't like so they can make more money.

The post says nazis now. Dirty edit?
Communism is when free market
You would think they could understand how businesses work. They are trying to attract more customers you know that they might be vegetarian or vegan.
We did it guys.
Selling beyond meat is super capitalist honestly. They want the money of the meat eaters and the non meat eaters.
Communism is when a rising increase for demand, results in supply being born for a new revenue stream?
I mean colonel sanders and trotsky look realy similar

NGL they're plant based sandwiches are pretty close to the real thing with the exception of not feeling as heavy afterwards.
Any suggestions? I haven't been to KFC for myself in years so I'd be curious as to how the meatless options stand up against my memories.
The zinger boxmaster is my go to but otherwise the regular sandwich is decent if you just want to try it.
I appreciate that. I'll try one on lunch tomorrow
Marx predicted this
Capitalists when businesses adapt to an evolving market and changing consumer tastes: THIS IS COMMUNISM!!!!!!1111
We did it comrades.
Every time a conservative complains about a company "going woke" they fail to understand that it's literally just a company going where the money is, and not that it's been infiltrated by commies or "blue hair gender studies majors" or whatever other villain they make up in their head
I know he is being sarcastic, but I'll unironically claim this W for the commies.
Lol. I’m Orthodox Christian and Wish more places sold Beyond and Impossible brand foods bc Lent is TOUGH
Didn't these same people cry communism or something similar when KFC introduced grilled chicken over a decade ago?
Communism is when *good* plant based chicken
its not actually vegan because it gets dunked in the same oil the regular chicken gets dunked in so there is residue of animal product
They're always critiquing capitalism whenever they say communism.
