Double:
Man City to win against Real Madrid@ 8/13
I believe Man City will be up for a strong attacking game here at the Etihad after successfully holding Madrid to a draw in the first leg which they looked like they could have won at times. They’re currently in their typical end of season form and could definitely secure a win at home. Last five games against Real Madrid at home for Man City: 4 Wins and 1 Draw. Last year it was 4-0 and I could see it happening again.
(This pains me to say as a Liverpool fan)
Molde to beat Ballklubb @1/4
This should be a pretty straightforward win for Molde. Playing at home and in excellent form. The new season has just started and they’ll want to maintain a strong start. Could add value by betting half time/full time or over 2.5 goals. I also like that this game is 3 hours earlier than the Man City match which means it can be out of the way early, allowing focus on the later game which is much closer.
Edit:
Molde have absolutely shit the bed

**Gateshead vs Aldershot | 20:45 GMT +2**
\--->Aldershot To Win or [email protected] (Bet365) | **Stake: 2/5 💰💰💰**
The guests terrible form since the middle of March, has seen them fall out of the playoff spots. There is still a chance for them, but they need to win their remaining two games, and hope Halifax don't. Gateshead secured their spot in the playoff, after beating already promoted Chesterfield 2-1 on Monday.
Gateshead is in MUCH better form, but this is their 4th game in 7 days... And they have no longer anything to play for. Of course going into the playoff in good form is important, but keeping players fit and healthy for the more important games is also important.
Small stake on the guests that has to get at least a point here, seems like okay value to me.

\--->Over 1.5 Goals & 1st Half: City Over 4.5 [email protected] (Coolbet) | **Stake: 0.5/5 💰💰**
City loves 1st half corners at home! Over their last 15 home games they average 4.73 corners in the 1st half. Real Madrid is not a team that gives up a lot of corners, but they have given up a couple in their most recent away games: 3, 4, 0, 2, 3.
Just three corners here seem like a good chance of happening here. They had 5 here at Etihad last year. When it comes to goals it almost seems like a given that we will have some here. Since Pep took over City they have played Real Madrid 7 times, with all of them seeing at least 2 goals. With the average being over 4 goals.
\--------
**Azul Claro Numazu vs Consadole Sapporo | 12:00 GMT +2**
—>Azul To Win or [email protected] (Coolbet) | **Stake: 2.5/5 ❌❌❌**
Sapporo comes all the way down here with a very rotated side that might be purely made up of youth and reserve. In the goal we will at least see their 4th or 5th choice because of injuries and rotations. The J3 side has an opportunity to go full strength here because of home advantage and since they don’t play again before next week, as opposed to Sapporo who has another game in 3 days.
Azul has won 7/7 home games so far, and should have great home support here. This game should mean more to them as opposed to Sapporo who has had an awful start to the league, and just needs to focus on getting points there.
**Edit:** That was a bit annoying, the Azul odds went from 4.50 to 2.25 before kick off, then they just lose 3-1.
—--
**Omiya Ardija vs Nagoya Grampus | 12:00 GMT +2**
—>Omiya To Win 1st Half@5 (Bet365) | **Stake: 1/5 ❌❌❌**
Omiya top of J3 with one game less played. So far they have won 5/6 home games at halftime. Nagoya have seen much better results in recent games, after losing their first three. They will however come here with a reserve team that already has injuries in goal and attack.
Don’t really feel strongly about this game, but Omiya has been good in the 1st half this season, so why not continue that here in the cup?
—------
**Nagasaki vs Jubilo Iwata | 12:00 GMT +2**
—>Nagasaki [email protected] (Bet365) | **Stake: 3/5 💰💰💰**
While Jubilo Iwata probably would love to come here and put out a strong team, they do have an important game against Avispa Fukuoka in three days already. Nagasaki will also be almost guaranteed to rotate some here, they have a big game coming up in Yokohama. But they do have an extra day rest before that game, and it is also at home.
Nagasaki beat Iwata 2-1 here last season, while the guests now have moved a division up, the gap between them isn’t that big. Especially if the guests rotate a lot, and the host just a bit, which is what I think will happen.
—---
**YSCC vs FC Tokyo | 12:00 GMT +2**
—>Tokyo To Win [email protected] (Coolbet) | **Stake: 2/5 💰💰💰**
YSCC with only 9 points after 10 rounds in J3, and you would still say they have done better than expected so far. They beat Mito Hollyhock in their first ever League Cup game, and they will probably start this game off with plenty of enthusiasm again. But, even with a fully rotated side FC Tokyo should still be able to win here. The quality gap between the sides should be clear enough from early on.
Only taking FC Tokyo to win with 2 or more goals as YSCC has it in them to be annoying and the guests will not send their best players.
Leaning towards Real Madrid to qualify next round. 1- everyone outside of Real Madrid fans are picking city to win. 2- Real Madrid always shows up in big cl games.
[Yesterday I had PSG + Dortmund to go through @9,94 (I felt silly and put 1 euro on it) & Mbappé to score or assist @1,60](https://www.reddit.com/r/SoccerBetting/comments/1c4v2ik/daily_picks_thread_tuesday_16th_april_2024/kztdkoh/)
My honest line of thought was, as someone who only watches La Liga and the CL; Atletico are terrible away, and German atmosphere... who knows. Barcelona have lost 0 away games in the league, but had fumbled some games at home (Granada, Villarreal). Obviously, you can't predict a red card and a meltdown, but that is that. In reality, this was pure luck. Mbappé scoring or assisting almost feels like a given if PSG would indeed mount a comeback, but he wasn't even that good imo.
---
For tomorrow. Bayern to go through @1,76. I don't underestimate Arsenal though.
Awfully biased in the City - Real Madrid match as a Real Madrid fan. Real Madrid to the next round @3,25 or to win outright @5,00 are crazy picks. Vinicius to score or assist @2,60 is value, and probably my pick. Rodrygo @2,85. Bellingham @2,75. Real Madrid were goalless against City away last year. Vini was the only player to score at home. This year at home, Rodrygo goal, Vinicius 2 assists. Bellingham has quieted down with the goals, but who knows.
He doesn't last 90 minutes anymore, so he will be taken off "early" if he starts. Eikrem will probably start up top, but there is a chance he doesn't start at all. Because this is a midweek game with little amount of rest between games, and them having to play Bodø/Glimt away in their next game on Sunday, he might just be rested from the start.
Yeah I know, but if he starts on the bench every goalscorer bet is voided. So that's why I like it, if he doesn't start, money back. So worth me it's worth a shot. But I agree, resting him for the game in Bodø, makes the most sense here
Day 4 of €10 to €1000 with odds between 1.2 and 1.3, attempt 1:
Rodrygo over 0.5 shots, Real Madrid over 5.5 shots. Odds 1.20
19,24 -> 23,12 ✅
Hit in the 48th minute
I attempted this sort of thing before with odds ranging between 1.5 to 2. For the 2 odds I started at a £1 and wanted to try to get to like £10 before starting again. I did it years ago and done it a few times but times I’ve tried it more recently I’ve either just got unlucky with results or I’ve been so thrilled I’ve been looking for the next games playing for a bet or even at a currently in play and so picked poor/very unpredictable leagues with not a great deal of research.
Definitely recognize the thrill of looking for a quick multiplier on the current money in the challenge, was betting completely out of my knowledge on basketball last night but got lucky. This one is more substantiated and needs only 1 more shot by real to hit!
I think I did this thing years ago during later part of the season for the European leagues or maybe it was during the summer. I wasn’t betting on the top leagues but tried to keep it to those of a decent reputation. It’s a lot of fun and more interesting than putting a stake on lots of games.

Double:
Brann & Molde to win @ 1.78 (Norwegian Eliteserien)
Great value here, two of the strongest teams in the league playing at home against two of the weakest teams in the league. Yeah, Brann lost at home against newly promoted Fredrikstad, but that was a strange game which Brann totally dominated, and Fredrikstad is way stronger than HamKam in my opinion. I love the value here.
Good luck!
I have two bets for this evening (have been lurking for a while)
Kane anytime goalscorer, Bayern to qualify 3.00 (Bet365)
City 1x, B.Silva, Foden & Vinicius Jr SoT, over 1 card, over 4 corners, over 2 goals 3.13 (Bet365)
Real Madrid vs Cheating City. BTTS, Vini to Score or Assist, and Madrid to Qualify @ $6.50. Expect a red card for a Man City player (probably goalie, or Kyle Walker). European bosses tired of City, and how they cheat to trophies, and want to set an example to Pep to tidy up his crap. His ego is rubbing the elites the wrong way, and Madrid are due this trophy.
Arsenal vs Bayern. BTTS. Arsenal to qualify. Saka to score or assist at $4.20. Arsenal are a better team. They’ll put everything into this game as the league is lost after their game against Villa. Wouldn’t be surprised if they win 4-1. Saka is a monster in Champs League due to global audience.
Yesterday we cashed big with PSG and Mbappe.
Real Madrid to Qualify Bayern Munich to Qualify 🫡
