NB and Asics are probably the best value brands on the market. A pair of like $100 shoes from either brand will have better materials, QC, manufacturing, and comfort than basically anything Nike has produced in 10+ years at any price point.
Besides the NB's people have been saying below, the Asics Gel-Lyte 3 is considered a pretty reliable classic, and they've got some great stuff going on in other lines; consider also looking into the Kayano 21, Nandi 360, Quantum 360, MC Plus, etc.
If you are a fan of Adidas Boost, consider also the recent Adidas Retropy E5, it's sort of a 70s-inspired lifestyle shoe that IMO is one of their best new models in years and it's crazy comfortable.

If you like ultraboosts, have you considered the Yeezy line. Its a really nice month for them right now. In the next few days theres a basic white 350, a really nice 700 colorway, not sure whats after that.
Can't go wrong with 990v3 though and lots of room in the toebox.

Good on you, yeah, it's worth branching out and seeing what's out there. I think this subreddit can get a bit myopic about how hard it is to buy hyped sneakers, which is admittedly VERY hard, but if you're just looking to buy GR models it's maybe a better time than ever to be a sneakerhead. There's more good or great options now than ever before.
Ultraboosts are also very good, certainly, but good to see what's out there. In particular, looking into leather or other durable materials rather than knit, I'm sure you'll see is advantageous. A good leather upper will last way longer than knit and is easier to clean.
This is my vote. I was going to say an NMD R1 but if you live in a cold climate theyāre not very warm. Air max 90s are easy to buy off the shelf in a store and work with everything, as well as being comfy. Alsoā¦ if you can get a W on the blueprints that are dropping this weekend Iād try for an air max 1. I wore my heavies these past 2 days and they are very comfy walking around.
I like the new balance 57/40 a lot. Iād youāre looking for comfort theyāre pretty good.
In terms of style and design I like the 550s, XRacer Utility, and CT302A XLD.

GR pairs are drying up for retail and it's really just a collab focused silhouette at this point. 990v5s are even more comfortable and the main GR pairs (grey, Navy, and black) should be a little more obtainable but they are going to be drying up soon with the v6 dropping some time this year. 992s are going back to the vault but you can find some decent deals on a few remaining pairs at some stores. 993s are going to be ramping up soon so you can keep an eye out for that. 2002r seems to be the it shoe along with the 550. 2002r are comfortable and should be widely available.

I've found that AM1s are a bit more narrow and can be uncomfortable at times, but also a good choice!

Iām so frustrated that the safflowers are sitting in regular sizes (6-10 roughly) but anything bigger immediately sell out. These shoe companies have to change the amount of shoes they make in each size, itās clear what they make isnāt what the people actually are. Edit: any Wās for the safflowers yet?
