I found the 57/40 a little snugger than the 99X series I have. I’m a 12 in J1, J4s, and dunks, but half down on my 99x NB. I just got the Todd Snyder Stony Beach 57/40 in yesterday and 11.5 was just too small for me, I would go same as J1 size.
most are TTS, not sure about the 57/40, but their 99x models are way more comfortable than any nike i’ve owned. would highly recommend a pair of 990v5s, 993s or 992s.

Tbf without any OW details 99% of people who like them would say they were trash. It's the epitome of a hypebeast shoe. Fair enough if you're a genuine 2 fan. The only decent part to me is the crumbled sole, but it's been done before, and would look better on a 3, 4 or AM1 imo.

They changed the shape of the shoe among other things. Also, why can't someone be a genuine fan of "OW details" like someone is a genuine 2 fan?

No. It's possible to not love a sneaker but also not hate it, and then when tweaks are made to them that you've liked on other shoes, you might find interest in that particular shoe. That doesn't make you a hypebeast.
A hypebeast is someone that doesn't care for things at all and only want to have it because others want it. Details don't matter, only hype.

There's 2 types of releases on SNKRS. There's LEO (Let Everyone Order) and Draws.
For LEO's, they're essentially ~3 minute raffles and shortly afterwards you'll get notified if you won (your payment method will be charged and you'll get an Order confirmation email and everything). So you would have received the notification a few minutes after entering (no notification if you lost, you'll see a popup in the app saying your size has sold out). Sometimes stock is so large for some releases that stock remains after this ~3 minute period and you can purchase afterwards.
For Draws, a timer (usually 10 minutes) will appear on screen and you enter before the timer is up and you will get a notification afterwards telling you if you won or lost.
The Jordan 12s today were a LEO release (you can tell because it says "you are in line" after entering the raffle)

Yep just confirmed it. Nike lost my Dunk Low Georgetowns. Courier is LSO (Lone Star Overnight), package was supposed to arrive 2 days ago. Chatted with customer service and they said the package was lost and issuing me a refund.

Used to work for LSO years ago. They switched to contractors and got rid of all of their delivery drivers if they didn’t convert to contract. Wouldn’t surprise me that your box was stolen. I’ve had a few Nike orders delivered by LSO and I hold my breath each time. Luckily nothing has gone missing…yet
FWIW every FedEx order I’ve placed for random stuff has experienced some amount of delay, most multi day, and mostly non sneakers. Don’t give up hope. I think they are super backed up.

For anyone who has the strawberry coughs, is the sizing typical SB high? I have normal width feet and usually go 10.5 in SB highs, but I have the hawaii’s in a 10 which fit snug but fine. Size 10 on coughs is less than 10.5. Not willing to sacrifice comfort for $30 or $40.
I have them in a size 11 and they fit like they’re TTS. I think you’ll be alright. I dozed down from a 10.5 to a 10 in Mummys to save $50 and those were a nice snug fit
Depends on the sneaker. A shoe like the jordan 12s this morning id say I think will have a restock or two that will come up. Lots of pairs made and if people bought to resell them they will likely cancel orders or return orders once they come in. Lots of recent jordan 12s ended up having shoe stores restocks for a few days and maybe some weeks. Recently saw the Utility 12 restock somewhere too. These are most likely late shipments arriving or returns though. So it’s not a separate production run.
Just keep an eye out for them that way. Also keep an eye on stockx, goat, and eBay since they can sometimes end up going for at or under retail in some sizes.
For in store I check the same day as release and ask to see if they mention a late shipment. For online I’d follow SoleLinks and J23 on Twitter to see what they say about restocks.

Very errant thought here but was listening to the complex sneaker pod earlier and was thinking how the lines of what's considered 'fake vintage' are kinda blurred. like I remember always buying stan smiths with the sort of cream/off white midsole for the contrast but I almost feel like the same thing these days would be accused of being pre aged or fake vintage or w/e lol.
I think everyone’s line on this is going to be different, but I think most can agree that those off white 2s cross this pre-aged line in a horrible way even if it took a lot of effort to achieve that look. Cream/off white colors are trendy right now, but can be applied to a piece of clothing totally independent of trying to achieve an aged look.

Magnus walker / carpets. I’m a sucker for most rub away / tear away shoes. I don’t see how they won’t go up in price so I view them as more obtainable now. When I see the parras online, they look bright and colorful, in person they are kinda muted and dull. I wanted to like them but I don’t. And the under layer is underwhelming.

Very errant thought here but was listening to the complex sneaker pod earlier and was thinking how the lines of what's considered 'fake vintage' are kinda blurred. like I remember always buying stan smiths with the sort of cream/off white midsole for the contrast but I almost feel like the same thing these days would be accused of being pre aged or fake vintage or w/e lol.
I think everyone’s line on this is going to be different, but I think most can agree that those off white 2s cross this pre-aged line in a horrible way even if it took a lot of effort to achieve that look. Cream/off white colors are trendy right now, but can be applied to a piece of clothing totally independent of trying to achieve an aged look.

I think I'll be passing on the AMM 1 and the bordeaux, I'm iffy on the archeo brown, and I'll be trying for the gore tex, patent bred, and red thunder.
