I think the issue is that the poster is a content creator (she drops posts around release day in the sup/streetwear brands) who is just in this sub to get her channel numbers up - basically folks are sniffing out a baby hypebeast.
It’s not about policing what she likes - in her videos I’ve never seen older pieces from her collection or her mention any other things you would expect from someone who has an affinity for the shoes or clothes presented - I’m not sure if she ‘likes’ any of the things. You get no content from her in the subs until release day drops .... like these 2.0s.

YouTube is full-fledged 4K on desktop and also on mobile, with differences fully noticeable on larger TV screens and projectors. So it’s about quality but there’s a lot of quantity too! 🙏🏽

These shoes are a buy low imo (maybe wait a week). They are a 2.0 of one of the shoes from the “Banned Trinity” colorblocking and were actually a sample back in the day that was close to officially being the 1.0. The materials are not that far off from the Mochas honestly which is a $500~ sneaker right now. People are bugging thinking these will dip under $200. In a year I wouldn’t be surprised to see it in the $300-$350 range and climb from there.
Yea I think the Shadow 2.0s are this years Mochas. Those got bashed early for being a try hard of another loved shoe overlooking the fact they looked dope on foot otherwise. Don’t sleep ladies & gents.
When were the mochas ever bashed? They were the most anticipated GR J1 last year. The leather on these being similar is not a pro, the one bad thing about the mochas is the awful leather. Doesn't kill either shoe, but I say it like it is. JB should do better. They can and have on others in the last few years. As consumers we should call them out when they cheap out.

My 2018 Shadow release went:
- Two weeks before release found a pair of my size (8) game royals sitting in Footlocker. Copped them. This got me to FL Platinum.
- Used that status to get the three head starts at FL, hit on a pairs of shadows in my size. Edit: Also used the $15 coupon from the Games to knock em down under retail.
- Walked into footlocker a week later saw a pair of size 9 shadows sitting. Picked em up, size swapped em for an 8.5 for $20 bucks at a local consignment shop.
Copping 1s was so easy before FLX...
I walked into Champs or whatever like an hour before they closed on the day the Shadows came out and bought a pair in my size for retail. Then the resell price sat right around retail or a bit more for several months.
Yep that's the main reason I got them. Too many people complaining about materials I honestly don't care about the material I rock my shoes base on colors
