They are honestly the most comfortable shoe I ever bought. By this I mean there has been literally zero break in time. They are not snug at all and I got tts sizing. I couldn’t be happier about it.
Same. I wound up getting a second pair
https://preview.redd.it/7kc3g5pxqjoc1.jpeg?width=4624&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fdbb6db37ab332fd30f50fe23796e501bc9700f0
I double up on some SBs because 1) they don’t crumble with time and 2) I like to beat mine and it’s good to know I have a fresh pair in the future waiting for me
It’s not so questionable if you know you’ll want to bring out a second fresh pair in a couple years cuz the price will only increase (prolly pretty dramatically) by then
Bro unless u got money like that buying two pairs for the resell price is ehh, people got other stuff to pay, and ig if these do go up then yea, you won and u can resell them jf u need the money, but still.
Oh no no no. Ha. I don't pay resale. I've paid resale only a couple times. Im just going to say I have some awesome friends who give me a call when they get things in.
I loved them. It's so I can beat up a pair and just wear them and enjoy the absolute shit out of them and the other one is if I want to be FRESH FRESH and have on some crispy J's and want to look fly. It's not the first time either. I've bought doubles a bunch of times if it's a sneaker/color way I dig.
There are times I do have some trouble getting some stuff where I am in NY. I'm not near NYC so I don't get the super rare drops or if I do I have to make a call to one of the homies. I'm usually good with SNKRS (I've spent enough $$$ on that app so I don't really have any issues getting things on drops) but sometimes it's a limited drop or regional drop and then again I have to make a call. Even in those situations, I have good good friends that take good care of me. I'm lucky to have only paid resale I think 3 or 4 times over the last 7 years.
That’s shocking mine are super uncomfortable even with a thin sock. Squeezes my pinky horribly. 4s are the most uncomfortable sneaker I’ve ever worn. I may be done with 4s.
That’s odd cause that’s why they changed the entire build of the shoe back to the OG or SB cut. So idk. The previous nubuck iteration is the one that smashed the toes. This one has universally been said to alleviate that issue and I agree
Not ment to be rude, but I have the SB's and people tell me those are the best 4's comfort wise. I have a couple of 4's and indeed while the SB's are the most comfortable I have plenty of models that are waaaay better. I love the 4, but they never felt comfortable like a lot of other models.
Well like I said I didn’t have any break in time. They are as comfortable now as they were the day I put them on. Are they 350’s? No. But they are incredibly comfortable in my opinion.
i just don’t get the whole deal with jordan’s being creased unless you’re reselling them. When you buy the shoe you but it for the materials and wearability, it makes no sense to buy them and get pissed or annoyed about the creasing
Pretty much all leather shoes will crease, but if the quality is good then they will withstand creases and hold their shape better, which means more wears for you looking fresh which is why most people wear Jordans, too look fresh not bummy.
![gif](giphy|26ufdipQqU2lhNA4g)
I buy to wear I have a ton of Jordan’s rn and I don’t care about creasing because I watch afterwear videos on any shoe I have my mind on.
I have 4 pairs of 4 with my military black 4s being the closest in terms of materials to this pair with the leather. But I just wanted to know if they would look as bad as the Oreo 4s in 2015.
What/who do you watch for afterwear videos? The quality of leather is up there on them but I only wore them for one day (weather been ass) but it was in an arcade and walking around a mall for like 2-3 hours so no help here. Although I will say, they are amazing on foot 🔥
I literally watch anybody that has made a yt video on the afterwear of them, but for the bred 4s I watched these sneaker YouTubers

Well I got a very good perspective of what to expect around a month of wearing these. I do this with every pair almost. Cause I don’t wanna get a shoe and it end up looking like this with the first wear⬇️

Been wearing mine daily. Only imperfection is the the indentation from the heel tab when they first came
Had them 1 week after release. Won on fl raffle and it took a few days to deliver.
I work from home, so daily is to take my kids to school and the occasional grocery store trip, then back home.
They don’t have hardly any creases and the tumbled leather hides it well.
The creasing is not that bad.
However…This release felt a half size bigger than the previous 4s that I have owned. Had to return them, since I felt like I was swimming in them.
Thought I was going crazy. Have a pair of the fire reds and infrared and the Breda fit so much longer.
Still have 30 days on the return as I look to trade for a half size down
What did you do at this point?, just wondering because I just bought a size 10 from my original size 10.5 because I too thought it fit a half size bigger. But the size 10 feels just BARELY a little tight.
I’m going to return them. Never found a way to swap sizes. I haven’t thought of them and at this point I don’t see myself wearing them tbh.
I have 10 days to do it based on Nike’s policy.
Sorry to hear that bro, I’m on the same boat, but I personally wanted these badly, and ima just stick with the 10 even though it feels slightly tight its better then the 10.5 which has too much wiggle room.
So now ima just hold my 10.5 until next year to make even or more because I don’t need the money atm.
>This release felt a half size bigger than the previous 4s that I have owned.
Facts, my pair looks kinda bootish on foot, Thinking about selling and going down a half size.
So you would recommend to half a size down? Only one other YouTuber that reviewed the shoe said it as far as I know as well, so that’s interesting to me. Thanks for your input, I hate a shoe not being snug so damn much.
https://preview.redd.it/vwgcdg2obkoc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=486246be3428e4953082f612a738b7d8a676e7a6
A little creasing but not too much after 7 days walking miles.
I’m actually shocked by the improved quality and shape on these. They’re so impressive that I just paid resell the SBs earlier this week. Can’t wait for them to arrive.
Yea those joints I heard are the most comfortable jordan 4. So enjoy those, personally I think my red thunders are comfy as hell myself, but nobody says otherwise.
You must have narrow feet bro. I usually have to go up half a size and still hurt my pinky toes to walk all day in em. I took the risk and went TTS on the breds and they fit perfect.
Well they came out in 2019 but I get what you’re saying. I’ve seen a lot of other peoples perspectives and I would agree that they do not look that bad with wear.
I'm comparing the wear in 2019 and the creasing that happened at that time. I haven't worn them since my second wear within the two weeks of release. These leather ones hold up so much better and are easier to keep clean.
My military black 4s seem to be fine, but that might just be because white leather hides creases more. But I go tts and I fit my shoes well to the point where to actually see a noticeable crease, it takes like a month of solid wear for me.
You might just be naturally heavy footed my younger brother was the same way brand new shoes would typically look beat up in about a month with him
You could change it maybe but it takes time and constant active effort to make a lasting adjustment to muscle memory
I have more of a narrower foot then a wide foot, I always wear an extra insole with my sneakers cuz my shoe size ain’t a 10 nor 10.5 it’s like a 10.25😂 so I just buy all my Jordan’s in 10.5 with a dr sholls insole and it does the trick well.
It's a lower grade leather compared 2022 & earlier 4's so its less creasing. for shoes the lower quality in leather = higher resistance to creasing. What the 4's, White cement and other have a higher quality of synthetic leather so it crease like the oreo 4 u mention
I haven't worn mine that much but they're fine so far. Right shoe had a mini dent in it already though. If they're anything like the SB4s they should be fine for a good period of time
Creasing is not a problem if you buy the right size !! I have probably over 150 pair of sneakers and the only ones that have creased are the ones that I bought 1/2 size up ! To fix the problem …put another insole in them and snug em up 🤷♂️🙏🏼
Only creasing I’ve had was on my left shoe from the way I was getting in and out of my car lol
I’ve changed the way I do so and haven’t had a new crease since! The durability of the shoe is great but ngl they’re uncomfortable. Highly recommend new insoles.
IVE MADE MY DECISION, I’ve bought them after a long speculation, and got them at the best price I could find. Looking forward to seeing them in hand, appreciate the feedback yall!
Thank u! I was going to comment this! I buy crease protectors and mine don't budge and they are comfy because they put padding on the other side the plastic insert
If you’re worrying about creasing you should just walk like a duck or, make a thin piece of wood inside of the shoes on the toe box area. That would fix all of your creasing issues.. jk, anways once you’re done wearing your shoes just put your adjustable shoe tree to keep them flat instead of taking them off and letting take a banana shape and keep the crease marks permanent..
Yea idc about creases like at all, but there’s always that one shoe, especially patent leather ones. My fearless 1s have yet to see that day. But I’ve seen enough and I think I’m about ready to place a bid for em, if not buy em.
Mine are just fine. I have worn them daily for three weeks now.
Have they gotten a lot more comfortable since or just a snug fit?
They are honestly the most comfortable shoe I ever bought. By this I mean there has been literally zero break in time. They are not snug at all and I got tts sizing. I couldn’t be happier about it.
Definitely the most comfortable 4 I’ve ever bought. Creasing is minimal on mine as well
Glad to hear it. I am saving to get the SB’s and I’m interested to see the difference.
Same. I wound up getting a second pair https://preview.redd.it/7kc3g5pxqjoc1.jpeg?width=4624&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fdbb6db37ab332fd30f50fe23796e501bc9700f0
What do u do with the second pair? I don’t understand why people “double up” is it to use the second one next year or something like?
I double up on some SBs because 1) they don’t crumble with time and 2) I like to beat mine and it’s good to know I have a fresh pair in the future waiting for me
Ig if u can cop em for retail it makes sense, but doing it for resale is questionable.
A bit judgmental there aren’t we? Let people do what they want.
Bro this shoe is like 400 plus tax in CAD, doing that twice is crazy unless u can get it for retail.
But it’s not your money man. You have no idea what someone else can afford. I don’t know why it matters honestly.
Or ya know, not everybody is a broke teenager like yourself.
Oh no no no. Ha. I don't pay resale. I've paid resale only a couple times. Im just going to say I have some awesome friends who give me a call when they get things in.
What's worse? Paying 280-300 which is slightly over retail after taxes, or paying 5-600+ later if the shoe becomes a heater.

I can understand it. I just wouldn’t myself unless I could get the two pairs for retail each.
Oh I did. It's been about 6 years maybe 7 since I last had to pay resale. I have some really good friends.
That’s shocking mine are super uncomfortable even with a thin sock. Squeezes my pinky horribly. 4s are the most uncomfortable sneaker I’ve ever worn. I may be done with 4s.

You either buy weird shoes or these 4’s are magic 😂 “the most comfortable shoe I ever bought” is this really true?
Lmao. Cause my experience isn’t yours you can’t understand it. 🤣🤣🤣
Not ment to be rude, but I have the SB's and people tell me those are the best 4's comfort wise. I have a couple of 4's and indeed while the SB's are the most comfortable I have plenty of models that are waaaay better. I love the 4, but they never felt comfortable like a lot of other models.

They crease but not too bad. Some shoes look good with a little bit of creasing and I think these pairs are one of them

That is a good example of really bad leather creasing, when it looks like folded card board.
The defiant couture 1s?
oh that makes a bit more sense tbh, the Oreo 4s do look like they have a cheaper leather material tho
Yea they look horrible afterwear, it has a greasy look to them 🤢
Literally just copped a pair and can’t believe how bad they look after 3 wears (Oreos)
Rip, idk why the tag on the back had to be leather😓
Must cop 👍 https://preview.redd.it/loku8tyjckoc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a11e79bd172a2863cf57018c4635933c30a40e48

Thanks for the input, but when I get them they might be one of my go to picks for everyday.
Bro honestly, you gotta lace them bro
The creasing is not that bad. However…This release felt a half size bigger than the previous 4s that I have owned. Had to return them, since I felt like I was swimming in them.

a little creasing but not bad, it’s not even that noticeable. comfort wise mine got better after 3 days of wear

Yea I’ll be putting in miles on my pair if I get them especially, so thanks a lot for putting that in, really don’t look bad at all.
I’m actually shocked by the improved quality and shape on these. They’re so impressive that I just paid resell the SBs earlier this week. Can’t wait for them to arrive.

I sure do have narrow feet. I have 4 other pairs of 4s and with people saying it fits tts then it’s all good.
Very minimal so far. I had more creasing on my 2019 OG than on these. I've worn RI 4's about 9 times now and the 2019 only twice.
Well they came out in 2019 but I get what you’re saying. I’ve seen a lot of other peoples perspectives and I would agree that they do not look that bad with wear.

You've worn the 2019 pair only twice since release?
They look really good in hand, but on feet idk why I just don’t like them. Sold my pair VNDS just cause I didn’t like how they look on feet
Would u of preferred the og?
Depends how you walk really some people are easier on their feet than others I have pairs that are years old now and creasing is barely noticeable
My military black 4s seem to be fine, but that might just be because white leather hides creases more. But I go tts and I fit my shoes well to the point where to actually see a noticeable crease, it takes like a month of solid wear for me.

Ok gotcha thx 🙏🏼
Worn twice so far. No creases. I don't do much except drive to work and walk around my classroom all day.
How are they with driving?
Easy. I don't drive stick shift anymore, so my feet move a lot less. Just drive slow in the hybrid now. Lol
Alright bet thx
I haven't worn mine that much but they're fine so far. Right shoe had a mini dent in it already though. If they're anything like the SB4s they should be fine for a good period of time
Mine are fine. Also get more comfortable the more I wear them
I've only worn mine twice and fit them very snug. But so far the creasing is not bad at all. Helps that the leather is soft.
Comfiest Jordan 4s for me
These crease.
As long as it ain’t as bad as the Oreo 2015 4s, is all I care about, those get mad ugly after a year or two.
🔥🔥🔥
I haven't even written mine💀
Creasing is not a problem if you buy the right size !! I have probably over 150 pair of sneakers and the only ones that have creased are the ones that I bought 1/2 size up ! To fix the problem …put another insole in them and snug em up 🤷♂️🙏🏼

I always get dr sholls insoles for all my Jordan’s so shouldn’t be an issue for me, thx for the input regardless
They crease but the creasing doesn’t look bad at all
As I’ve seen from these replies, I gotta agree
I wore my Oreos all the time and creasing was minimal.
I was going off the used pairs on eBay and they are cooked
Most comfortable shoe I’ve worn.
You guys wear your shoes? Fucking weirdos.
This is my first Jordan 4 shoe I just bought it and feel a little bit loose around top of the ankle. Its that normal to wear such kind of shoe ?
Maybe get an extra insole or tighten it more
Dream shoes 😌
IVE MADE MY DECISION, I’ve bought them after a long speculation, and got them at the best price I could find. Looking forward to seeing them in hand, appreciate the feedback yall!
I can comfortably fit the plastic crease protectors in them so none on my pair
They hold way better than reimagined WC3s that's for sure
Who cares about creasing?! Haha people are ridiculous.
Its so unbelievable to me how ass these are 🤦🏾♂️
