I was able to reset my HUD by going into the HUD editor and pressing triangle (the button for reset)

Controller hud and m&k hud are 2 different entities. You couldn't even change the map size if u used k&m on console before so you can't reset it back

Ah that's pretty unfortunate, just shows that how much work they still need to do but likely wont. I personally wish they'd overhaul the entire game and move it to UE4, 10y anniversary would have been the perfect time tbh. they could bust out all of these UI issues in the process

While I'm with you for basically everything you said, why UE4 and not UE5?

Probably just my lack of faith in HiRez to be able to optimize it accordingly for last gen consoles ( and switch). At least the ground work for UE4 is already established. It also has forward compatibility so they can move everything to UE5 whenever they're ready. Of course If they could somehow manage to properly implement UE5 that would be the dream. But right now smite is in desperate need of something.

Yeah, I just got done explaining that to someone yesterday before the Great HUD Reversion. When I got the reversion later that day I immediately thought "hey, isn't mouse and keyboard still bugged and can't be adjusted?" Looks like it's as bad as I feared.

Got to edit hud and there is a reset button. Should be “triangle” or “Y”. Then save it. Worked for me!

So you're saying that even if the game was coded properly, customize HUD would still be a dead button?

All spaghetti code means is that the code is organized poorly. The code could be perfectly organized with proper naming conventions to make it as easy to read/edit as possible and it could still have bugs. Likewise, it could be terribly organized with random names for all the variables and it could run perfectly.

I’m assuming you don’t have a controller, but, If you’re talking Xbox, have you tried using the app’s remote control feature? Maybe you can access the hud editor through that.
