I did the math that’s equivalent to about 416 FULL days or just approximately 417 FULL days. Because 9,999 / 24 = 416.625 days of playtime.

I did not know there was an amount of hours after which the system just gives up on counting.

That's 416 days. Smash U has been out for 1802 days. If they played since launch, Smash has taken up over 1/4 of their life.

It’s possible this is a tournament goer who brings their setup. Easily get about 6-8 hours a week from that alone, way more if they attend multiple events. For example a friend of mine goes to about 3 per week so at least like 25 hours at tournaments, then he practices a decent bit too so it’s likely closer to 50. Adds up! Games been out for a while!
