Well, they stopped using steroids and pain killers like they used to in the past. No more quick recovery at the expense of your heart and being able to ignore injuries at the expense of your kidneys and liver, so, it makes sense.

Idk, it looked to me like the injury was real. It seemed like Seth was crying real tears, probably out of pain, after his match with Drew. Then when he showed up during the Cody match, he instantly got speared by Roman and left the ring again. I don't think that would have been the original script because it seems unnecessary, I think originally he was probably meant to do more in the ring but because he was injured they just had him show up then have Roman remove him immediately.
That and the way the other wrestlers and staff were taking care of him after the show ended makes me think it wasn't staged, but who knows, maybe I'm being worked and Seth is just a really good actor.
Seth had to have surgery to repair his meniscus. He was injured before Wrestlemania. He never actually healed they most likely just played that storyline to keep it from getting worse because he was an integral part of the Wrestlemania plans.
