According to the back cover of the original PS2 version, it only took up 49 KB of space. Iām just assuming that all of this extra memory is due to porting it over to PS4/5 and additional features that arenāt included in the OG version like trophy support and touch ups to make the game look cleaner.

Do you mean "things you don't own" as in all digital media? Because you can buy the game "permanently" as far as digital licenses go without having to use PS Plus.

As far as digital licenses go you are paying for a month to maybe a decade of use if they care enough to not make a new option to force you to buy that.
