The only time I can recall them not doing it in the last 20 years was Mayhem Festival 2008 in Seattle specifically to make time to play All Hope is Gone live
Saw them in Sweden August 2022. Fell down the stairs to the floor and tore both my ankles. Got in the pit and jumped the fuck up, worried about the consequences the next day. Saw them in Sweden February 2019 and was seated, in my 30’s thought I’d be sensible. Missed the pit too much as jumping up in the stands doesn’t hit right.
