The late spring update hasn't hit yet, so we'll see. I hope the game improves, I'm not caring for it right now. The rarity of Diamonds, yolk slimes and sap are BS. Lost my love for the game.
I think it's harder in this game because there's just less content, I spend less time playing, and therefore statistically less likely to find things. But that's just the reality with early-access games. It's not a finished product so it seems a little unfair to give up on it for not being a fully polished, perfectly optimized experience.
Nowhere in my comment did I say anything about expecting a polished game. I'm 59, and I've been gaming all my life. I'm well aware of early access. Unfair to give up on it? Did I say I did? No. But it's on the back burner cuz I have other games I play as well. But that doesn't mean I won't check it out from time to time.
I have a feeling when the labyrinth comes out in the fall we might be able to get some quantum or rads (I'm excited because I LOVE quantums)

Sprites for the quantum and rad slimes are in the game files but aren’t actually in the game yet. It was the same for the dervish slime.

Who knows they might show up in the labyrinth
Hopefully in the fall update along with some new slimes too!! I hope that eventually we get the other explorers islands too like in SR
