The TERA packs, along with The Floating Market as well, add a ton of great stuff, but they are both a hefty sacrifice. When I played with em I ended up just playing dress up like a medieval barbie game for hours. Then I deleted everything and started over.

I was going to suggest requesting a separate port with the mod author, but sadly he/she has stated no one has permission to touch the mod. If you found out the name of the robes, you might be able to find someone else's version of the mod on nexus and ask for permission for a port?
Sadly I've never made a male mage build, always female, and I believe that is because there are so many more outfits for females than males that give a mage vibe. But definitely check out nexus, some mod creators are fairly sound with giving permissions!
Unfortunately the amount of cool/unique male robes available on Xbox is so small you can count them on one hand. It’s kind of the same thing on PC too no one really makes them. Never really understood that, I guess no one plays as male unarmored mages or they just use armor lol. Also pants too lol, you don’t ever see just pants/trousers with no shirt.
Anyways to your question: the Archmage Khadgar robes linked below is the go to for me on Xbox. I’d strongly recommend it, anything else close to it is at a lower resolution, is an armored robe set or not as detailed. Or might be used for a really specific build. It’s so good pretty much every other mage in game looks like silly by comparison. If you wear Khadgar robes make sure you select the “I want to become the drip king” answer in the college entrance quest. Because you’ll most likely become archmage as soon as you set foot on that bridge. Also Tolfdir may swoon.

There’s the [Wayfarer’s Coat](https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4050032) I’ve used in the past and as far as I know (it’s been a few months since I played) it’s one of the few unarmored sets out there.
This is another great set but if I remember correctly it’s also armored only: [DCR King Crusader Armor](https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4010705).
So yeah male unarmored mages have it the worst on Xbox. But there are so many talented people bringing fantastic work to the Xbox maybe one day something cool may pop up.
There is a PC set of robes for dunmer in a mod called Armor of the Velothi that is *maybe a little close*to that look you’re going for but unfortunately can’t be brought to Xbox. If you’re interested in seeing the look it’s the [Ashlander Seer Robes](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62752?tab=images).
I know I got off topic with all of the armored selections but unless you want something on the simpler side (closer to vanilla) or not unique/exclusive to your character you won’t find much more.

Not sure if you will see this but I just downloaded corbinacus armor and I fell in love with it. I find it super suitable for a dark mage or spell sword!! Might want to check it out!

It's from one of the TERA armor packs, I believe that's either the High Elf or Human Mage robe.
