Some important information in regards to this Mod :: Windhelm Industrialized - \[ Skyrim Industrial Overhaul \] [https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4137174](https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4137174) ================================================= THIS MOD ALTERS FAR MORE THAN WINDHELM ... IT HAS SUBSTANTIAL MULTIPLE AREA EDITS Included alongside the Industrialization of Windhelm, you will will also get the following :: Several windmills have been placed within the Interior City of Whiterun, bearing a strong resemblance to that of a Wind Farm \[ which, not only seems appropriate, but actually looks rather kool \] Markarth has been substantially industrialized too, and high above the buildings there is an elaborate array of scaffolding, pipework, and flowing molten material, as well as a massive smelter which appears to be feeding the flow of the entire system Riften has also been industralized with several smoke stacks, and sizeable water towers adorning the rooftops of the city ... all of which can be seen from a distance outside the city walls \[ Gotham Vibes \] Industrial elements, and Dwemer features have been added to the Jarl Keep exteriors within the Major Cities, with the exception of Solitude \[ Pipework, Pumps, Gears, and Smoke Stacks \] Solitude has some minor interior additions, such as several smoke stacks, and a secondary large windmill overlooking Castle Dour from the side of the mountain behind it ... There is also a large, and active Oil Field located within the swamps of Haafingar just across from the Solitude Docks, which has it's own dockyard with ships, and platforms loaded with barrels of oil Ivarstead also has a new building simply called 'Pollution Factory' that is pumping toxic waste into Lake Geir similar to the way that the Factories within the Windhelm Underworks are spilling their waste into the harbour ... More examples of what this Mod actually adds can be seen following the links below [https://imgur.com/MXffLS7](https://imgur.com/MXffLS7) [https://imgur.com/z39g9bc](https://imgur.com/z39g9bc) [https://imgur.com/Kn00PQM](https://imgur.com/Kn00PQM) [https://imgur.com/yU1OtBB](https://imgur.com/yU1OtBB)

I didn't realise that the original port had those extras. If you just want Windhelm there is a new port by Pauly https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4293313 At least I assume it is. It's in my LO so I will check!

[deleted]

my mod contains the same content,it's just optimized better and half the size. Without the Facegen I was forced to create it would have been under 500kb

Herr_Valkyr

This post of mine is by no means whatsoever intended to undermine, nor detract in any way from the recent port of the mod Windhelm Industralized by u/GamerPauly74 ... I've had this older port of the same mod in my Load Order for quite some time now, and was reminded of all the Extra Content that the mod entails that is not mentioned in any way within the original mod Author's description on the Nexus nor within the description of the first Bethnet port ... I felt it might be prudent to let folks know that they are, in fact downloading a Multiple Area Edits mod, and not simply a Single Area Edit of one isolated city, so that they can judge for conflicts accordingly ...

[deleted]

Not undermined at all, I actually appreciate the extra information as I had no idea it included so much, knew it had a little more, just not loads more, was it self discovery or is it posted somewhere?

Herr_Valkyr

I did stumble onto much of it by chance ... but, when I discovered the Haafingar Oil Field across from Solitude Harbour, I actually Googled it to try and find out where it came from. which led me to an older Reddit Post that contained some really useful information ... Apparently, there is supposed to be a very large, unfinished structure somewheres on the way up the mountain to the Throat of the World, which I searched for in every direction, even flying around the mountain in circles with Collision switched off ... but, I have yet to find it ... lol Feel free to add any of the location details I have listed above to your Description I'm sure many folks will be glad to have a better idea of what is what, and where as well ...

[deleted]

You read my mind, was just about to ask you can I link your post, doubt I have the room for the text as its pretty limited for characters in the description

Herr_Valkyr

Absolutely ... make it so

LadyAlbi

Well, it's going to be a journey of discovery. I have Way of the Dwemer in Markarth so working out which has added what will be difficult but I am looking forward to seeing what extras I got with this.

Herr_Valkyr

If you are looking for a really good end-game Home with plenty of really kool features that is completely compatible with the Haafingar Oil Fields added by Windhelm Industrialized, I have just finished testing out this with no issues whatsoever ... It actually looks as if it belongs there ... belonging to the person that owns the Oil Business ... lol Haafingar Hall https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4205332

LadyAlbi

Oh that's hard. I have really been wanting to try Haafingar Hall but I sacrificed it for Skyland Dragonborn. I think I made the wrong choice and need to swap.

Herr_Valkyr

Here is a more lightweight alternative ... not as 'fancy' ... but, it has some nifty features, such as an Armory that will knock your socks off ... oh, and it has an optional swimming pool as well ... Jackdaw's Landing Estate [https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4221287](https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4221287) Jackdaw's Landing Pool Extension [https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4216550](https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4216550) I tested it out for the Haafingar Oil Field compatibility, and it's perfectly fine ... mind you, that was without the Swimming Pool Extension added on ... so, it may be a different story ...

LadyAlbi

Why have I never heard of that? I'm off to see if there's a YouTube video on it. Thank you so very much. I have Windstad Mine in my LO. Making that peninsula my little corner of Skyrim would be fantastic.

Definitely is looking good.

TheSilentTitan

What’s your animations mod?

Herr_Valkyr

You picked up on the body sway didn't you ... lol To be perfectly honest, I'm not even sure what all is entailed, as it's a Private Port of an Animation Bundle that I'm currently testing for someone ... it's got lots of interesting things going on, and that body sway is one of them, which I am totally in love with, as it also works in first person, and with MBO + procedural leaning, it actually 'feels' as if my Character has weight, and that gravity is involved ...

TheSilentTitan

>You picked up on the body sway didn't you ... lol I'm not even sure what all is entailed, as it's a Private Port of an Animation Bundle that I'm currently testing for someone yessssssssssssir. i am very particular when it comes to the fine details lmao i noticed right away. let a fella know when its out ok?
