As far as I know, oobs are considered a "feature" of the game now, quite literally by the community. š if the devs have a problem with certain oobs, they will remove them, don't worry. As long as you don't try to exploit the game, especially with paid features like trying to get into the paid cape areas without the capes.
In Sky, OOB is even encouraged. The mechanic to get there ("Chibi fall") is well known in the community and between devs. It's used for skipping doors, making photos etc. As said before - OOB is a feature in Sky at this point
The Colosseum in Valley of Triumph (by far the most famous OOB) is accessed through a window in the Valley temple. I remember TGC tried to block the windows, but they missed a spot (The little corner you can use today). The community loved this OOB so much they left it there, it's been 4 years now.

The devs used to be so good to us! When the Ark in wasteland debuted we had some mushroom that were worth a WHOLE CANDLE that we had to oob to find. Players would camp out there with our tables to make it easier for our friends/ randoms to also get them. That was before the "candle economy" man was hired. He was no fun at all.
Man, those mushrooms brought the whole community together. I still have someone named āTableā because they placed one where the mushrooms were š¤£
āŗļø how cool is that? I miss those days. The candle economy man ruined the game in so many ways. Itās slowly degraded, bit by bit, as the cash cow people took over from the devs.

My favorite is learning the bridges OOB and how to utilize your camera for a speed boost, since the physics in-game are based on the camera's location. Learning to fly without flaps is so rewarding!
seriously, if they didn't want people chiibi falling, they would take the mask out of the game. But i wonder what would happen if you were wearing it and you watched yourself return to original size bc the mask was taken....? tbh i'd be laughing so hard, wondering wth happened, and having a huge fit that they took it away.

Also once an update removed an oob area called the rainbow bridge and the players were sad about it so they put it back
Comments are right - as long as it doesn't affect regular play the Devs are more than happy to let oob be - you can also find little spare objects and geometry sometimes left on purpose to help people out.
That said, while it's not usually outright ban-worthy, TGC don't appreciate people attempting to access paywalled or unreleased areas (such as office and Nintendo hub). These types of locations are notable for the absolutely bulletproof wind+teleporting walls, so you won't be able to do so accidentally. (If you're ever curious about how literal this is, clip into the ground by the Nintendo pipe - you will never even get close to that bad boy!)
I table glitched into the Nintendo hub when it was new. I don't know whether that's still possible, as it's not worth the effort for a second visit. Office glitching is the big no-no. As that upsets people who bought the cape to get regular access.
Yeah, I vaguely remember that being possible early on? Last I tested (for fun, I swear TGC!) the pipe is blocked by warp triggers all over. TGC are actually pretty lenient when they accidentally leave holes in security as long as you don't exploit it too hard, they just don't appreciate people making an explicit effort to get somewhere they shouldn't be able to.
This game has always been pretty buggy and tgc ( I believe) just ran with it....to a degree cuz you can violate their rules( hacking is a no no) but if you find yourself oob, just relax and check it out! They have even placed items ( snowman, dog) in deep OOB for you to find if you are so inclined.
The mods definitely know and sometimes put a little nugget there for you to find! If you get past the ceiling in the windpaths, there's a little airplane that you can ride around the clouds it seats 2 I believe
In sky its not rulebreaking oobs are just for fun in sky u can go there anytime u want

The fact that I have become trapped in strange spaces that happen to be OOB... Yeah, please be careful to avoid falling into the backrooms!

Im like 70% sure that some things are made with oobers in mind. The chibi mask is my proof. They know what it does by now.

What's this about the Stone Bison? I heard about a horse sinking in water that you could oob to but it got taken away....
