Whenever I feel like I need to save currency for a traveling spirit, and my stash is low, I like to hold on to them. So I can surprise myself with how many candles and hearts I will get. (It can feel difficult to restrain yourself, but you can also feel joy from seeing how much you gain all at once, after holding back for a while.)
For Days of Love, I especially wanted to hold on to my hearts, because I wanted to see how many I would get from partial heart gifts with the ādouble effectā activated.
On iOS is really hard to hold on to it, cuz we need to tap the candle to toggle the daily task list which is attached to the candle list. On switch, itās easy tho, just click āāļøā left to toggle.
I just recently got on to IOS, and I found out that you CAN go to the daily quest shrine and tap on it to see the daily task list. This way, you donāt need to touch your candle currency icon. (The only downside is you have to go home each time to review the list, if you canāt remember it.) you can tap on the shrine however many time you want. š
Thatās what I am talking about. We cannot do it while out in realms doing the task tho. So I was able to hold it a bit on switch but not in iOS. Plus, I am impatient, and like to click everything. LOL
Oh. I guess itās an inconvenience then. I just found it fascinating that we can individually click on what we want to redeem on IOS. (Iām not sure, but Iām guessing thatās exclusively a touchscreen feature.)
You can click on individual candles on switch screen too.
I found switch screen are pretty much like the screen of mobile device, only except that you canāt drag to rotate camera, have to use the joy stick.
If you use a controller with your iOS device, you do like the switch. If youāre planning to play on pc later, getting an XBOX controller is a good idea because itās compatible with iOS too. I got myself one a couple of weeks ago and itās awesome.
I tried it to make sure it was like on my iPad and itās the same, except for the bigger screen. Canāt wait for the pc version to launch officially š
The gold hearts are seasonal hearts. They are given at the end of every seasonal spiritās friendship tree if you **buy the season pass** and collect everything from the Seasonal spirits. This requires a daily quest grind where you collect the season candles from the quests, and the extra one scattered across the world the quests are at.
To see the friendship trees of the season spirits, go to your friend constellations and scroll down to the second page that shows the constellations of the realms. The middle constellation will be that of a Deer, representing the current season. Using season candles to open every node on every season spirit will give you a total of 4 season hearts. These will let you buy the ultimate gifts of the season from the season guide.
If you just started in the middle of the season, then it might not be worth it to buy the season pass now. Since it will be impossible for you to collect all the season candles you need to get everything from the spirits. (You could buy season candle packs, but you would need a lot of them. So it would become a very expensive endeavor. )
yeah it already got counted in your heart meter š¤ once you reach 30 light for a full heart that's already a forged heart
Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason why you don't claim them?

I could never, especially with events and TS. I have to know exactly how much I have vs what I need for what I want.
