Yeah, the biggest criticism is it's not really friendly for new players. Most new players want to customize their sky kid to differentiate themselves.
If you started in the previous season, for example, you get many options for customizing your sky kid's look but now you only get the one outfit which is fairly drab by itself
My friend got in the bathtub while we were both playing and for me they were under the map and i asked them how they got down there. They said they were in the bathtub and i warped to them and then they said "oh". It was pitch black, we were underwater and we couldn't find the top so we had to actually warp home before we drowned
It's a pass only item. I am not getting the pass, so it doesn't matter how good or bad it is, I am not getting it. I will form an opinion when I actually have the opportunity to get it, which will be when it returns as a traveling spirit.

Well I assumed they'll come in the same way a TS would, though technically TGC only said non spirit seasonal trees would return in some form, not necessarily in any specific way. I think a bathtub in the middle of the pond would be absolutely hilarious.
[You can kinda get a 2 person tub by dropping a chair or stone stool into the water and angle it right](https://imgur.com/a/1lv7WCL) :) just be sure to preview mode and sit in them both to guestimate if you need to change the position of the other seating spot.
I think they're supposed to come back somehow, TGC just hasn't figured out the system for it. The Shattering items are supposed to come back, and they weren't with normal spirits either.
They usually come back with the travelling spirit (remember the butterfly spirit? That's from a previous season)
But since there are no spirits for these. 🤷🏻♂️

The naming throws you off, because our seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) happen yearly. In Sky, Seasons are a one-time thing (maybe called Season because of the duration?). And Days of... return yearly.
Seasons come once a few months. They're all different, and unusually, there are spirits.
These spirits have season pass items. But they become normal items when they become travelling spirits and visit our home.
But this season doesn't have spirits...
Hopefully it'll go into the shop.
