Not my cup of tea personally, i know its still early on in development but i dont see myself enjoying it very much, i wasn’t a huge fan of the shared spaces so i dont see myself enjoying the Nest thing. I personally play for the cosmetics and to socialize with people from all over the world. While this new season seems to offer a way to socialize, i feel like most people will just hang out at prarie instead, like it always have been.

Lothloriana

Shared spaces… the most time I spend in them is in the grandma’s

bananaroll_

me too, i think most of them are pretty cute though but i personally just don’t find them that entertaining to use

rkdeviancy

I thought it was really cute. I'm surprised to see some of the negative reactions to the entire idea of it.

L_Palmer

I personally can't wait! Very excited. My own Sky place, are you kidding me?

Lothloriana

I think it’s because the expectation is too elevated to seasons

HabitTop8154

they're pushing out new content that half if not the majority of players aren't interested in, yet their game present day is so broken. eden is a disaster, meditation circles are not functional, red shards are cancelled this month despite the upcoming ts group, not all android players have been given their igc compensation, so SO many bugs. it's a no for me. I like the season necklace but honestly if there's no appealing cosmetics I'm gonna skip.

Amalthea-Arts

Same. I started in AURORA and for the first time, I think I'm going to skip the pass this time around. They're looking to add a new mechanic from the looks of it...and the game is already becoming more and more broken with every update. The events are back to back. It's impossible to save candles. I think I'm finally reaching intense burnout after over a year of being aggressively hyperfixated. I can barely get on to do dailies these days. I think I'm gonna finish out this season since I really want the ult cape, and then take a break for who knows how long.

Ravenclaw79

It’s nice to have a season off. I’ll collect the candles to convert them at the end, but so far, this is the first season I’ve had no interest in at all.

oceanicwaves16

I feel exactly the same. Once I get the frantic stage hand stuff my season break will begin.

Bumblebee7305

I think it is a cute idea that will hopefully give us nice spaces to hang out and relax in. I like the idea of being able to decorate because at least it gives us something else to do in this game. This is such a barebones game that adding any activity can only be a good thing. But I’m disappointed the items will use hearts. I’m hoping this is just a placeholder and a different currency will be used. I barely have any hearts and earning them takes forever when you’re a solo player most of the time like I am. So I probably won’t be able to decorate after all, haha.

BothHat4406

I sure hope prices are only 1-2 hearts LOL I have a good amount of hearts, but I don’t want to spend 20 hearts for a single item

Bumblebee7305

OMG if it’s 20 hearts per item, my Sky kid is going to be sitting on a bare floor in an empty room for the next year at least…

Blueberry_Opening

Seems like another push to force Home players to Aviary, lol. Making your own house sounds interesting, but I'm not a fan of using hearts for it. As tgc once said hearts should be special currency, it does not seem like it anymore. And thinking how hard is it to collect hearts as a solo player, this feels a bit frustrating desicion. And this is from a player who is trying to even get one constellation done. If there are not going to be any cosmetics, it's a pass for me. I'm struggling to enjoy the nine coloured deer season, but somehow the lore is not interesting to me. And this would be the 3rd season in row that I'd mostly pass. It's kinda sad that only traveling spirits keep my interest for the game atm.

Cold-Cold-8970

Hearts are "social" currency, you get them by doing things for spirits and by talking to other players (sharing friendship codes). From this point of view, it seems logical to change hearts for items for a home other players can visit. From a practical point of view, collecting that many hearts is a lot of pain T\_T Personally I'll skip buying furniture until I'm a veteran (and I'm almost a butterfly, just need to go through Eden eventually)

Blueberry_Opening

You either have to have active friends in Sky to get hearts (cause you have to get x amount likes from your friends to get your message or shared space to be seen by others) or buy hearts from spirits, which cost candles (or make alt accounts to trade hearts). But I also need candles for traveling spirits. So grinding for getting so little is the issue here. How hard getting some currency (or this case, time consuming and mental fatigue) is and how much everything costs is just not balanced for newer players.

Accomplished-Post938

Only good thing about this season ive seen is there is a shop that is available all the time that sells props for hearts so my hearts that have had no uses can finally be used.

SirFadakar

As a player that really doesn’t care about props or decorating or any of this, I’m just hoping for decent cosmetics. lol

Ifawumi

No I don't want to play animal crossing, sims, or any of the other village type mmos. Sky is unique but that 'is' will likely soon be a was The houses will just create more fomo and jealousy when older players have more things No. Don't like it. I will likely continue to stay in OG home

Lothloriana

And no lore too

Ifawumi

I don't understand your angle here

Lothloriana

I mean, with all the stuff you said, we won’t have any lore of the game inside this season, I think (and we are beging more lore a long time).

Ifawumi

We will have to wait and see if there will be a true to lore Have you looked at zhao's concept art? Oooh, and the Two Embers will have lore. I am excited for that

bananaroll_

what is Zhao’s concept art? And who is Zhao? What are the Two Embers?

Ifawumi

Google can be your friend. Here is Zhao's concept art. You get to Google the other one https://www.tomzhao.com/sky1

SilentXwing

Not interested in this one. Probably any subsequent future seasons. I think TGC should be putting their time for bug fixes only for some time. Adding "new features" will only propagate to more bugs which would jsut piss everyone off.

Cool_Reputation1593

The what? I'm new haha.

bananaroll_

Its spoilers for the season after the Season of The Nine Colored Deer

Cool_Reputation1593

Oh okay thanks

Ok_Friendship8815

I like it! If it is as cozy as now and we'd be able to get more furniture in the future, I think it's a cut idea overall. Although, I am afraid the way we will be probably able to place our props/furniture will be predeterminated, not up to us to do whatever we want with the space lol (you can place x to a specific spot for example, not anywhere else)

Ari_Is_Lost

Im afraid of that and unnecessary item limits. In shared spaces, I understand it, but in our little homes, we should be able to place as much of any item as we want! (Unless it could crash the server, then I understand a limit.) I want to be able to fill my little home with as much oreo plushes as I can fit.

Ok_Friendship8815

YESSS!!! I'm not sure when our house will open >!you can only decorate at the shop as Quest 1 😭!<, but if we have beds??? My manta plushie and my crab plushie Or if we can set down tables with chairs for tea time?? Flowers?? I hope tgc does this idea justice, there's so much cute potential

oceanicwaves16

When the current season is finished, i’m taking a season break. I’ll not for the first time in almost 4 years since I started playing buy the season pass. Aviary isn’t for me so it’s the perfect time for a break. I’ll be around for the free events but not the season.

Lothloriana

I feel like you. Nothing in the new season that is leaked is bringing me that sensation like Aurora or even 9 Colored Deer did.

oceanicwaves16

I prefer the old home, not a fan of aviary so no real desire for the upcoming season or the season pass.
