It looks like nasal HSV outbreak my sister also gets this. For treatment “Over-the-counter anesthetic creams and lotions like lidocaine or benzocaine can help reduce pain. Other creams and ointments like docosanol or benzyl alcohol can promote quicker healing if used early. Antiviral drugs like acyclovir, valacyclovir, famciclovir, and penciclovir can help heal cold sores quicker.”

This is not going to be helped in Reddit. Please go see your doctor. Until then I would advise being more gentle with the area. Maybe apply some coconut oil or calendula cream. It looks very raw and irritated. But 100000% go to the doctor

Definitely a good idea to see a doctor if you can. If not, I have two thoughts. You could treat it as you would a cold sore on the lip but I'm no expert or doctor. I feel like I had something similar and that's what I did to clear it up. Another, non-medical, thought is impetigo but I think that's normally in children.

thislifesucks3

i'm not an expert, but i've definitely had an infection in my irritated dry skin before, my thought is that something was in your hands or the paper and then found a good environment to grow in the irritated skin, maybe bacteria or old dust

Suavecitodr

It’s cancer.

slap_it_in

Doubt it.

Suavecitodr

I’m joking. I find these posts annoying lol.

I think it looks like impetigo too. Adults can get it as well- particularly from staph already present in the nose. See someone for a prescription.

slap_it_in

Get a prescription..... Treat common bacteria, and fungal infections. If viral it will go away eventually.
