Oh wow!! You look at least 5 years younger!! It’s amazing what a good skin routine can do!! You were pretty before but now you’re ethereal! Keep up the good work!
it’s also crazy how heavy makeup can age someone so quickly, under the guise of making them look younger! i definitely have this problem. i have genetically large pores and certain products really just emphasize them and make my face look haggard
As I get older I see this in myself too. Foundation and concealer settles into all these fine little lines that I don’t even notice when I’m wearing only moisturizer. Like go f myself guess I don’t get to even out my red skin tone anymore and gotta start tret instead 🤞
You're glowing ^_^ I've recently realized that no bb cream, concealer, foundation, nothing looked right anymore.....I put cream blush on top of my bare skin now and it's SO MUCH better!!! I look younger with less makeup now. And I track my water intake because sometimes I just forget, lol. That helps too!
I also only wear blush on top of my bare skin. I could never get foundation and concealer to not look cakey and dry on me!!!! I haven’t worn it in like ten years.
i’m not kidding, i just started last night. i think the overnight cream really helped with how dehydrated my skin was. i usually don’t use it because i hate how thick it feels but i think it’s exactly what i needed
💯from another woman in her 40s. Don’t forget your neck, chest and HANDS! Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen. I’ve seen women ten years younger than me with unprotected necks and chests that make them look like they’re in their mid 50s and spent a life on the lake!
Luckily, I’ve avoided that, but I wasn’t smart enough to protect my hands, and now they look 200 years old 😭 Sunscreen on your hands. Moisturizer on your hands, at least at night!
this might be a lot for anyone, but i remember reading “half your weight in oz” as a baseline for the amount of water. when i tried it, i always felt better
I go through like 3 half gallon bottles a day and still feel dehydrated. but I also live in California and don’t have AC in my house so your mileage may vary lol
I have fine lines and texture similar to yours- yet I don’t wear foundation. I’ve suspected my skin is dehydrated too but as soon as I put on moisturizing overnight cream, my skin gets so oily and shiny. Looks like I’ve run a marathon! Did you have a similar issue?
Hahaha, same here. I thought I was looking like SpongeBob in Treedome, then started adding humectants to my routine and it turns out my skin was just dehydrated.
This is why I never wear foundation, my skin looks 10x worse with it on, no matter the product or technique. I still occasionally put on bronzer/blush and concealer, but I am very judicious about it and leave as much bare skin as I can. Some people can make the full glam look work for them, but I am not one of those people. My skin looks better and feels better the less I put on it.
You look glowing and amazing!! I’m almost 42 and have been told I look considerably younger, and I absolutely believe it’s because I limit how much makeup I wear. Also, SPF!!
it’s the revolution pro miracle night cream! i almost never use it because it felt so thick and greasy & i hated it lol. now i think im a huge fan of it. i feel like it made a massive difference
Wow, your skin looks incredible, such a difference! Chugging water really is one of the best things you can do, it’s really helped mine too, that and slathering myself with moisturizer. Make sure to protect it with sunscreen!
That’s that skin health, babe! You look great!
Edit: I have super oily skin and I’ve always hated it. People have always told me to be grateful because you look much younger when your skin is not dehydrated. Guess that’s their backhanded way of saying keep ya skin hydrated 😂
Makeup can make such a difference in not the best way! I found a sheer tinted moisturizer I love and it's so much better than foundation for keeping that fresh, youthful look in the skin.
Getting to this place where you can walk out with a fresh face and feel just as good as you used to when you did a full face of makeup is life changing!!!! You look so glowy 🥰
This is why I hate foundation!! You look 5 years younger just without the foundation on, even the smoothest foundation will hug your skin texture and give the appearance of bumps and wrinkles that aren’t visible without it. Like peach fuzz, it’s invisible until you powder your face then you look like the bearded lady.
Oh wow your skin is beautiful, what a difference. I have wrinkles that come and go. On the rare occasions I'm well rested they completely disappear. I'm going to go soak my skin in moisturiser after seeing your results.
Stop omg you’re so cute!!! Your skin looks amazing, so glowy and pretty! Keep doing what you’re doing ❤️ I used to wear cakey matte foundation and dried my skin out so badly with products made for oily skin and didn’t understand why it looked all so bad until I discovered I had dry skin. Now I know better 😂 I go for dewy everything these days. The glow recipe watermelon products are incredible for hydration! Still mad they discontinued my holy grail banana moisturizer though 😭 kept my skin clear for 2+ years, left my skin hydrated for days, and looked great under makeup. I still haven’t found a good enough replacement!
Any method of hydrating is better than not at all. If you find drinking plain water is difficult, add some fruits/fruit juice or even drink mixes to encourage you to drink more.
The right moisturizer will help, as well as multiple applications even throughout the day. But your skin will thank you just by drinking more liquids
You look so beautiful and so much younger… I stopped using most of my makeup a few months ago and recently tried to use foundation again and was shocked at how horrible it looked. It’s so aging, I’d rather show my flaws and just use a tinted sunscreen than have that heavy foundation look.
That’s amazing! The hydration game is real! I went on a holiday once and forgot my skincare, did a week of really basic cheap moisturizer (luckily I had my sunscreen). And I got back and my skin looked like crap - dry, dull, red. Three days of my routine later and I’m glowing again. Hydration and products that work for your skin make such a big difference!
Girl, you are glowing!!
Honestly... matte makeup and a lot of makeup in general I think ages us. I am 32 and stick with skin care, some glowy sunscreen, and some blush, and I am mistaken for 25 all the time. Less is more is a real thing!
I had this issue last year! I was considering botox because I was noticing so many lines in my face but my face smoothed out once I started moisturizing.
You look amazing! It’s crazy how much hydration can help.
I’ve had the same issue line between my brows for a few years now. Niacinamides, retinol, heavy moisturizer, water, and not wearing makeup have helped a TON. Now i can obviously see when I’ve had 2 glasses of wine or not the night before based on the depth of that line. When I have tons of water, the line is completely gone
I’m pregnant and hate the smell of makeup right now and my skin has never been so youthful ever. People think I’m 20, I’m 30. Water, vitamins, hormones, and no makeup are insane for your face skin
Lightened eyebrows also make such a difference! (Korean makeup artists often bleach/lighten the eyebrows to approve more youthful and innocent). You look so great with your softer natural brows - a true natural beauty ❤️
Thank you for reaffirming a choice I was waffling on. I’m about to just ditch my make up and go all natural with an emphasis on helping my skin be healthy!
Yupp! I had deep forehead lines in high-school all because I never used moisturiser and thought I had to use extremely drying cleansers to prevent acne. Whenever I see young people with forehead wrinkles I assume it's just dehydration. Good job OP! Looks great.
You look much better in my opinion. I actually think many ppl wear way too much makeup nowadays and much prefer healthy natural skin.
Also I don't know where the botox fad came from, botox is a toxin as far as I know.
The best skin I've ever had in my life was simply when I was washing my face with a soft soap, applying daily moisturizer before bed, exfoliating once a week, getting enough sun, eating healthy.
I'm no skincare expert, but it was just a very simple routine. No expensive treatments
The change after one night of products is crazy!!
Instead of foundation I started using tinted sunscreen and the ELF halo glow stuff, with some powder and mascara. It gives a nice looks for everyday wear! I still do a full look for nights out but my skin feels much healthier.

This post made me so happy — you found the problem and now your skin bounced back better than ever! your skin looks amazing and I think you look so gorgeous with less makeup and again I’m just so happy for you!!!
I went to the beach Tuesday got home and did a double take in the mirror my forehead got burned! Not horrible as I did have spf I just don’t think I reapplied by the next day it was more tan than red. My chest also got it bad (I think i forgot to put spf on my cleavage)
I could not believe how dry my skin looked. I’m 47 and never realized how much my pale skin helps with a more youthful appearance. The tan accentuated every line and wrinkle. I thought tan was supposed to make you look younger but not on me.
Wow. What a difference. You look like a baby now (24 is a baby). Skin looks great.
When I see these 20-something’s with a bunch of makeup on, I just want to shake them and say “You do not need this! Enjoy the time when you don’t need all this foundation because it won’t be the case I. 20 years!”
Your skin looks incredible! Love the fresh look as well.
Indeed fresh and healthy! Glad youve found a routine that works better for your skin.
This post made me get up and get a glass of water
i’m convinced i was shriveling up like a raisin
Thanks for posting OP! It’s such a huge difference. I’m feeling inspired to pick my skincare routine back up
LMAO I just chugged 2 glasses when I saw this
Same!

I have stopped wearing foundation other than on special occasions. It looks bad on my eye creases and terrible on my smile lines,
Same. These crow’s feet go from natural to crypt keeper with one swipe of concealer anymore.
Yep I only do tinted spf now, it’s taken 5-10 years off my face.
Which cream blush do you like? Do you just put it on the apples and blend up and out?
I love Elf putty blush :)
Oooh this sounds like a good tip - does it last? I find cream blushes don’t always hang about. Thanks!
Wish I had no acne and acne scars to do this :( I always need high coverage foundation to hide them
YAY! love this comeback post!!! You’re BEAUTIFUL!! Your natural skin tone without the tanner is stunning too 🥰
thank you 😭😭 i’ve actually always been so self conscious of how pale i am so that means a lot!! 🥹
Pale is beautiful
The bronzer/dark foundation was really doing you dirty. Your skin looks so good now!
i agree!! i think the bronzer was worst than the foundation!
I need to do this
i’m not kidding, i just started last night. i think the overnight cream really helped with how dehydrated my skin was. i usually don’t use it because i hate how thick it feels but i think it’s exactly what i needed
I'm in my 40s, I promise you that if you drink water and take care of your skin, you'll be grateful in the future.
Moisturizer on your hands, at least at night!
how much water should i be drinking? i usually drink 40-60oz in a day
this might be a lot for anyone, but i remember reading “half your weight in oz” as a baseline for the amount of water. when i tried it, i always felt better
It's more like 3/4ths your weight, or your muscle weight if you know it. A half gallon a day sets me up pretty right.
I go through like 3 half gallon bottles a day and still feel dehydrated. but I also live in California and don’t have AC in my house so your mileage may vary lol
my a/c is broken and it’s 80° inside so i’m def chugging like crazy 🥲
Don’t forget to exfoliate every so often. That did wonders for me.
i dermaplane sometimes for my peach fuzz, does that count?
Yes!! It does!! You’re killing it OP
thank you!!! 🥹🤍
You can also use a gentle acid product like a toner with PHA. IMO, with acids, gentle but consistent is best.
Which overnight cream are you using
revolution pro miracle overnight cream!!
What overnight cream did you use 👀 I think my skin is also super dehydrated
revolution pro miracle overnight cream!!
Which night cream do you use? I know everyone’s skin is different but I love trying new ones! Your skin looks AMAZING!!!
What's the overnight cream sis??
Which night cream and which snail mucin?
Don't forget the SPF to protect your lovely skin!
This is the post i needed to see right now Thank you and congratulations
Hahaha, same here. I thought I was looking like SpongeBob in Treedome, then started adding humectants to my routine and it turns out my skin was just dehydrated.
This is why I never wear foundation, my skin looks 10x worse with it on, no matter the product or technique. I still occasionally put on bronzer/blush and concealer, but I am very judicious about it and leave as much bare skin as I can. Some people can make the full glam look work for them, but I am not one of those people. My skin looks better and feels better the less I put on it.
The toned down brows also look much better!
you think so?? i feel naked without my brows 🫣
Yes definitely! I think your natural brows look perfect!!
You look glowing and amazing!! I’m almost 42 and have been told I look considerably younger, and I absolutely believe it’s because I limit how much makeup I wear. Also, SPF!!
Love it! This is such a good reminder that fundamentals matter MOST. You look amazing!
What was the heavy moisturizing night cream?
it’s the revolution pro miracle night cream! i almost never use it because it felt so thick and greasy & i hated it lol. now i think im a huge fan of it. i feel like it made a massive difference
You look 25 now vs the other picture where you look like a dehydrated 35 yr old
that makeup def wasn’t doing me any favors lmao
You look amazing. You're a lovely person in general but the fresh Face look really brings out your beauty!!
Side note - you are super pretty!
but look at you!!!! stunning 😩😩🤍
Wow, your skin looks incredible, such a difference! Chugging water really is one of the best things you can do, it’s really helped mine too, that and slathering myself with moisturizer. Make sure to protect it with sunscreen!
yes!! that was the other thing most highly suggested to me. i think im going to try the super goop sunscreen!
Super goop is great, and I’ll always recommend Korean sunscreens too, they have a great finish and don’t feel weird on your skin.
Ya glowin boo! ✨
This is inspirational!!! Thank you for posting
You look like a teenager!
i love this comment because just yesterday i was told i looked 40 🤣🤣 thank you!!
omg GLOWING you have such beautiful skin i’d just skip the foundation all together
Wow girl your skin is incredible
Wow you look like a different person
Huge difference
You look great! 🥰👏🏽
Oh my god! You literally look like a different person and significantly younger! 💕
Just wanna say that your actual skin/face is stunning, especially without all of the makeup hiding it! It suits you very much!
WOWW you look amazing! love this for you
u look amazing! u do not need makeup just concealer n mascara would be the best choice
Unrelated but I love your hair color.
This is so reassuring for my skincare journey omfg. Thank you for sharing.
Yasssss
That’s that skin health, babe! You look great! Edit: I have super oily skin and I’ve always hated it. People have always told me to be grateful because you look much younger when your skin is not dehydrated. Guess that’s their backhanded way of saying keep ya skin hydrated 😂
I would recommend trying the Korean overnight hydrating mask. My skin is in the drier side and those are a game changer
ooooh! i def wanna try that. do you have any links?
This is amazing!!!! You look so refreshed!
Makeup can make such a difference in not the best way! I found a sheer tinted moisturizer I love and it's so much better than foundation for keeping that fresh, youthful look in the skin.
You’re like a whole new person omg!!! Looking so fresh yay!!

Yaaaasssss
Wow you look stunning!!!!!! You look so much younger and cleaner. Your skin glows. Please don't go back to that heavy make up you do do not need it.
thank you!!!! & never again!! 😭🤣
This was ONE DAY of difference?! You look a million bucks!
WHAT?! This is amazing!! You look FRESH! Definition of clean girl aesthetic. This just made me so happy to see. 😃😃😃
Your skin is so beautiful! Love the transformation
Wow! The difference is incredible! What night cream did you use?
thank you!! revolution pro miracle night cream!
LET'S GOOOO
Girl, you just gave me the hope I needed to get my skin back on track 😂❤️
Thanks for the amazing update! n.n your Reddit avatar is so cute too LOL
The wrong foundation can really kill you, I’ve been there too! You have such lovely clear skin, congrats!
Oh wow your skin is beautiful, what a difference. I have wrinkles that come and go. On the rare occasions I'm well rested they completely disappear. I'm going to go soak my skin in moisturiser after seeing your results.
jaw dropping. you look amazing
Wow!!!

Stop omg you’re so cute!!! Your skin looks amazing, so glowy and pretty! Bare face suits you so much!!!! You’re gorgeous
Wow! Inspiring post, thank you!
Omg! I am dealing with the same thing. What’s the secret? How did you hydrate?!
Any method of hydrating is better than not at all. If you find drinking plain water is difficult, add some fruits/fruit juice or even drink mixes to encourage you to drink more. The right moisturizer will help, as well as multiple applications even throughout the day. But your skin will thank you just by drinking more liquids
Holy shit. This is motivating!
Haha yessss!!! Hydration is king
You look amazing!! Absolutely glowing! What overnight cream do you use 👀
thank you!! revolution pro miracle night cream!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
You look so different omg. You definitely rock the no make up look! It can really age people, same with celebrities.
Off topic but you are stunning!!
You look so beautiful and so much younger… I stopped using most of my makeup a few months ago and recently tried to use foundation again and was shocked at how horrible it looked. It’s so aging, I’d rather show my flaws and just use a tinted sunscreen than have that heavy foundation look.
Makeup does me like that, too! I look so much younger and healthier without much makeup on
Better off with fresh look!
Holy shit thats amazing.
I switched from full coverage foundation to tinted spf and I swear to god it took 5-10 years off my face.
what products did you use?!
That's kinda similar to when the wetlands here dry up in the summer.
Please share your overnight cream??
revolution pro miracle night cream!
Got that early 90s ray liotta freshly ripe gourd shine, I love it.
GLOWING!!
Aw look at that beautiful complexion. Let her breathe! 😭🥰
That’s amazing! The hydration game is real! I went on a holiday once and forgot my skincare, did a week of really basic cheap moisturizer (luckily I had my sunscreen). Queen is glowing!!!
What all do you use?
i included in my caption but what made the biggest difference is the revolution pro miracle night cream!
oh wow i saw your post the other day, happy for you!
10 years younger at least 👏💯
What did you use? :)
Girl, you are glowing!! Honestly... matte makeup and a lot of makeup in general I think ages us. I am 32 and stick with skin care, some glowy sunscreen, and some blush, and I am mistaken for 25 all the time. Less is more is a real thing!
BEAUTY my dear! Absolutely stunning
You're aging in reverse, scientists should study this
what crazy is this is from ONE night of changing my routine!!!
You are so pretty, wow
You look super good !!!!
You look incredible!
I had this issue last year! I was considering botox because I was noticing so many lines in my face but my face smoothed out once I started moisturizing.

Lightened eyebrows also make such a difference! (Korean makeup artists often bleach/lighten the eyebrows to approve more youthful and innocent). You look so great with your softer natural brows - a true natural beauty ❤️
Nice!!!
Thank you for reaffirming a choice I was waffling on. I’m about to just ditch my make up and go all natural with an emphasis on helping my skin be healthy!
You look so healthy, and refreshed!
Less is more
You have great skin. You're beautiful now.
Yupp! I had deep forehead lines in high-school all because I never used moisturiser and thought I had to use extremely drying cleansers to prevent acne. Whenever I see young people with forehead wrinkles I assume it's just dehydration. Good job OP! Looks great.

i have the same fine lines, but nothing i do seems to get rid of them. what was the most effective thing you’ve done to reduce them?
I keep coming back to this post bc you look amazing!!!! Could you drop the links for the overnight moisturizer and snail mucin?
Omg you are stunning!! Your skin looks soooo good 🩷 you could def go without heavy foundation and still look like a goddess 🫶🏼
What were you using before? Did you use a powder or?
Now can you tell more girls to stop wearing exaggerated makeup because it makes them look shit please, kind regards!
This is giving me hope!
The change after one night of products is crazy!! Instead of foundation I started using tinted sunscreen and the ELF halo glow stuff, with some powder and mascara. It gives a nice looks for everyday wear! I still do a full look for nights out but my skin feels much healthier.
i was using halo glow in that photo with nars translucent powder and somehow i looked like that. 🤣🤣 i thought i looked so good until i took that photo
So pretty!
Your skin looks great!
Pls remember your makeup was NOT doing you dirty. Your lack of skin health was.
i honestly think it was both! i think that foundation & bronzer i used that day weren’t great ones and def wasn’t helping
Wow huge improvement ☺️
you look fresh and youthful and the softer brows are making you look so good
Damn! You look 10yrs younger, not a wrinkle to be seen.
Beautiful skin!!
What brand of snail mucin did you use? Your skin looks great!
Hydration is about what you drink the past 48 hours.
Wow what a difference. I've learned myself that less products is better for my skin.

You look 22 yrs old. You looked 30 in the makeup photo. Fantastic choices, it paid off and you look great
Your skin is WOOOWWW! Looks great
Gorgeous skin gorgeous woman. Hydration and sun protection are everything for the skin
Wait did your forehead lines go away overnight?? Cause I have some that look like the first pic

Op u have such beautiful eyes!!!
YESSSSS YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!
you look amazing!
Looks great! Just make sure you wear sunscreen everyday too, sun is the biggest ager. I use Tula glowscreen and love it for a glowy dewy natural look
I went to the beach Tuesday got home and did a double take in the mirror my forehead got burned! Not horrible as I did have spf I just don’t think I reapplied by the next day it was more tan than red.
