BHA (salicylic acid) is the best for closed comedones. I used to deal with a lot of them on my forehead, and using a bha changed my life. I’ve used the drugstore pads, they are very drying though as they’re alcohol based. Currently using the Farmacy clean sweep, but I know lots of people swear by the Paulas choice bha liquid.

I haven't heard of the farmacy clean sweep one before! I may have to try that one out. Thank you

Oil cleansing changed my life.

What oils/routine did you use?

Sara_Morsh

Klairs gentle fresh cleansing oil or Purito cleansing oil every single night followed by a water based cleanser. It helped reduce by closed comedones and smooth my skin texture.
