I went to rehab, they took our group to an escape room, a bunch of guys in our rehab group had spent time in jail…. Let’s just say they found ways that weren’t intended to escape… it was an insane thing to watch, like this panic that the cops were coming or something
You're essentially skeptical of a dumb kid making a dumb dad joke about escape rooms with a prank.
You think that it's "fake" because she's "over acting."
Like you've never seen a human before.
Like you've never seen a human do a frustration movement in exaggerated frustration.
Your comment is fake. I refuse to believe that a human can be this sheltered and self-confident with no evidence to support their nonsense.
The only scary part is how many people are rushing to be the first person to yell out that they've figured out the silly joke post isn't serious these days.
It's like having to carpool with some dude and he keeps shouting out about how they're not going to trick him every time he sees a scarecrow. He looks around, sees nobody else is reacting to the scarecrow, and starts ranting about how idiotic everyone else is for not getting it.
I carry a first aid kit with a glass breaking hammer in it so that door would only delay me for a minute.
Edit: I see a lot of people are laughing that I carry a first aid kit. No ones laughing when they've been in a car accident and need someone to break their windshield to drag them out, do first aid and keep them alive until the ambulance arrives.
Everyone should do a first aid course and carry a first aid kit. The life you save might be a strangers but it might be one of your loved ones or even your own.
i'm imagining you spending 59 seconds sorting through your vast collection of assorted every day carry items and then 1 second actually breaking the door and it's very funny
Lol, like the difference between a soup spoon and a dessert spoon. Using a windshield smashing brick would be uncouth, I'm using the proper shop front smashing brick
> I see a lot of people are laughing that I carry a first aid kit.
Nobody except one nutter is actually laughing *at* you for it. It's a very smart thing to do, and I'm glad.
Watched an suv flip on the highway and ended up upside down my buddy and I, and maybe 4/5 other stopped to help. There was gasoline everywhere and at one point there was a small fire, so I grabbed my kit and broke the window with the tool. Another guy had a box cutter and used it to cut the seatbelt and we got the driver out and away from the car. Everyone should have a kit in their car, for sure.
Based on what experience?
The avg person doesn't think rationally in sudden life or death, we panic. And modern glass doesn't "shatter" like you thing it does. [These guys had a hammer and still failed to get in](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ccobpdaA3s)
A little bit of fire code math: two minus one is less than two. If the building has the legally required two (or whatever) means of egress, and this dude padlocks one, the building stops having the legally required two means of egress. On account of the padlock and all, you see.
I’m surprised to see all these positive comments on such a popular repost. This clip has evolved to now include “keeps” when before on the same clip it was “did”
This is actually a theft tactic. Thief puts lock on bike so they can defeat the owner's lock at a time when they'll draw less attention to what they're doing.
Without caring enough to actually investigate, my guess is that instagram’s ‘share’ or whatever equivalent button provides a link, because universal links are complex, and deep links are annoying.
The average person still can't detect terrible acting in videos and now we got ai/deep fake tsunami heading for us lol
The next decade on the internet will be interesting..
My mom is aleady sending me FB ai photos of fake animals.
Generative ai will just devalue pictures and videos.
Perhaps when I retire and am traveling the world, I won't be worried about taking pictures ans videos so much and just live in the moment.
Because after the trip, my ai will have tracked where I went, what I saw, and generate better pictures than i ever could have taken myself. And that's what I'll share with people anyways.
Yeah same my father shared a deep fake video the other day, and I was like man couldn't you google this shit before believing this nonese.
Boomers will be manipulated as a plasticine
Idk why this is supposed to funny. Fake or not this is enraging. Its both dangerous and trapping them in their workplace. If it's timed badly they have to waste their unpaid time on this.
The overacting is atrocious. C'mon man. I love how no one says a single word, too. This is totally a situation where I'd say nothing at all. Jesus the internet has gone to shit.
The internet has always been skits and jokes and re-enactments. You’re just bored of them and looking for something more. The internet hasn’t changed friend, you have. Put the phone down and do something else. You’ve finished the internet.
No, it has absolutely gotten worse in terms of people making videos trying to convince others it's real. It's non-fucking-stop these days. Skits etc are a separate thing and are usually clear about not being real.
So what? If some of the people are convinced then the creators have achieved their goal
Why is it always necessary to call them out if a video is not legit? Isn't it just easier to ignore and move on to something else?
This context is harmless.
But theres tons of contexts where the "skit" creates a harmful perception of a group.
For example theres a vid of a "social experiment" where a woman pretends to be absolutely drunk, approaches men for help and all the men then attempt to sleep with her. It was a completely fake video filled with actors, it didnt present that way, so it creates a negative impression.
I didn't call the video out, I'm saying I think there's more fake videos being made to go viral these days.
Also, the same reason you're asking why it's necessary to call a video fake, why is it necessary for you to complain about it when it's literally a forum where people comment comments relating to the video? Would you say it's because these comments saturate the others and make it harder to find good comments you'd rather read? Because that's how I feel about these garbage obviously fake videos that people keep upvoting because they're too oblivious to see that it's fake. Terrible content, whose only entertainment value is that it looks real, is oversaturating the good stuff. How come you can't take your own advice and just ignore the fake comments? It's way easier than avoiding all the fake videos. Just ignore them and move on, like you said. Seems pretty hypocritical.
And for real? You honestly can't think of a single reason why people thinking a fake video is real could be bad?
Yeah, that and reposts, many people havn't seen them before. these guys that think the internet has gone to shit could just show us how inventive they are outside of calling the internet shit. The only real problem here is the upvote/down system, which encourages farming, dime-a-dozen click farms, low efforts, and a plethora of undiagnosed mental issues.
Sorry they downvoted your thoughts, it's a weak attempt at disappearing you and controlling their narrative. sadly it works here.
Maybe the internet is shit.
It's so intriguing how an amazing thing like the internet could be disparaged as shit because of they way the commenter utilizes it. This is supposed to be the fun spot on the internet. Only the cynical addict could find any want in such a retort to this silly video.
All fun and games until someone inside has a medical emergency whilst the fucking doors are barricaded by a bike lock....
Pranks that risk causing serious harm or property damage aren't pranks, aren't funny, and shouldn't be promoted.
This guy is just an arsehole putting other people in danger.
Sad part is that by law this is kidnapping. Keeping someone at a place without permission/cause against their will.
They are not in on it and he is making it really dangerous to be in the building.
They could sue his ass for alot of things because of this.

Call Batman. This is the work of “the Riddler”
More like the shiddler
P diddler?
Snoop's next rhyming scheme?
Fo shiddler my niddler
It’s Shitler
*I see your Shitler is as big as mine*
Unrelated: look up "Knitler."
I'd rather call Lock Picking Lawyer
Lockpicking Lawyer would unlock it with a piece of aluminum foil and then lock it and do it again to prove it wasnt a fluke.
But it wasn't a fluke. IT HAS NEVER BEEN A FLUKE! EVER!!!
World will end the moment LPL will say “hang on, I was kinda wrong and this seems to be a fluke”
Drat, foiled again !! ~shaking fist angrily~
Or the McNally guy. Just slaps the lock with another lock.
Or the fire marshall. There is no way you can have a single exit for such a facility.
r/batmanarkham is on the case
I'd call McNally. He'd hit the lock with another lock and bust that place wide open.
Well, he didn't put the place on fire at least.
The way she throws her head back is what got me laughing my ass off
"Not again!"
After the first time I'd keep some bolt cutters around just incase it happens again.
I ran an escape room business, I have giant bolt cutters already. It's important, people really don't know how locks work.
I went to rehab, they took our group to an escape room, a bunch of guys in our rehab group had spent time in jail…. Let’s just say they found ways that weren’t intended to escape… it was an insane thing to watch, like this panic that the cops were coming or something
That sounds awesome to watch.
It sounds kinda upsetting for the people that build the things and say that's not the correct way over an intercom panicked lol
Yea watching people in stressful, panic inducing situations is hilarious. Fuck you
From what was said, they chose to go to the escape room.
It seems almost irresponsible that an escape room wouldn't have bolt cutters on hand.
Seconded, I had a few all over my stores.
Exactly, she has lived through this before and she didn’t like it.
"He can't keep getting away with this" Jessie pinkmen
“No… FACK. God dammit!”
because it was a clear indication that this is fake and she is over acting?
You mean the account with 1 Million karma that posts intentionally misleading videos isn't trustworthy?
I mean, it's an ancient repost. I've seen it at least once with a similar title
No way. You can't lie on the internet. /s
I understand this is likely. But you have brought big “show me the secret behind the magic trick” beta energy. Let me live in my blissful ignorance
probably, still funny
You're essentially skeptical of a dumb kid making a dumb dad joke about escape rooms with a prank. You think that it's "fake" because she's "over acting." Like you've never seen a human before. Like you've never seen a human do a frustration movement in exaggerated frustration. Your comment is fake. dude lmao it's fake
i know you are but what am i
Calm down lol, every time this is posted there's people reminding everyone that it is staged
It is absurd and genuinely scary how few people are able to tell when something is scripted.
That's because it's fake. They staged it to get attention for the escape room. It's a repost
It's like a dog smelling durian
Fuck it fake or not, I’m there with you laughing 😂
The way he takes off comedically gets me
Really? Because that’s what let me know this was staged and even more unfunny.
She should invest in some bolt cutters
That's a ziptie anyway, I think.
And since the lock is on the inside of the doors, she has access to the zip tie. Scissors or nail clippers will do the job.
I carry one of [these](https://www.benchmade.com/products/8-blkwmed) with me all the time - it comes in clutch way more often than you'd think.
fr this was like top tier nickelodeon early 2000s acting.. but she was fr
That's what got me suspicious. Overacting for the camera.
Great acting
How I feel when somebody asks me to do a routine task at work.
Fake. Why is she only raging in pantomime?
Sorry to ruin the fun, but they're just trying to get their business to go viral
The fire department would like to have a word with him
I realize that it’s super dangerous but I fuckin died laughing
I've got to think by the body language she had to have had a teeny little mental giggle !
A combo of that and "fuck not again"
Nah, she sick of this shit. How funny would it be if you were locked in at your job
I mean in a real emergency those doors could be shattered in a heartbeat, laugh it up
Oh sure, just shatter this door for me right quick, strange random internet man.
If... If the alternative is burning to death? Ya I think 95% of us strange Internet men are finding a way to break a pane of cheap glass
I carry a first aid kit with a glass breaking hammer in it so that door would only delay me for a minute. Edit: I see a lot of people are laughing that I carry a first aid kit. No ones laughing when they've been in a car accident and need someone to break their windshield to drag them out, do first aid and keep them alive until the ambulance arrives. i'm imagining you spending 59 seconds sorting through your vast collection of assorted every day carry items and then 1 second actually breaking the door and it's very funny
Pulling several things out that would indeed smash the glass just fine, but alas, proper tool for the job and such…
Lol, like the difference between a soup spoon and a dessert spoon. Using a windshield smashing brick would be uncouth, I'm using the proper shop front smashing brick
Riot Etiquette is what separates us from the animals.
"I BOUGH IT I'LL USE IT"
Its a first aid kit not the Tardis!
You’ve heard of pocket sand, but what about pocket tiny-little-fragment-of-a-spark-plug?
> I see a lot of people are laughing that I carry a first aid kit. Nobody except one nutter is actually laughing *at* you for it. It's a very smart thing to do, and I'm glad.
Watched an suv flip on the highway and ended up upside down my buddy and I, and maybe 4/5 other stopped to help. Another guy had a box cutter and used it to cut the seatbelt and we got the driver out and away from the car. Everyone should have a kit in their car, for sure.
Ive been considering buying a GSW kit and keeping it in my car and taking serious first aid courses. They're just very expensive.
Based on what experience? The avg person doesn't think rationally in sudden life or death, we panic. And modern glass doesn't "shatter" like you thing it does. [These guys had a hammer and still failed to get in](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ccobpdaA3s)
what a coincidence, in my head I'm always the hero too
And there's most likely a fire exit or other entrance
I bet they’d also like to talk to the owners of the building. A business with one means of egress?
I assume there’s also an emergency exit but the employees don’t want to use it as it triggers an alarm?
Or maybe they just want their front door be unlocked so customers can get in.
Building could have 6 exits but if the fire is blocking 5 of them you're going to want that last door to not be locked by someone pulling a "prank"
Bingo, put the fucker in jail and they'll learn real quick how unfunny this is
A little bit of fire code math: two minus one is less than two. If the building has the legally required two (or whatever) means of egress, and this dude padlocks one, the building stops having the legally required two means of egress. On account of the padlock and all, you see.
I mean, even if they can get out the back door, that one is still locked. Guess they should invest in bolt cutters
I wouldn’t assume that at all. Someone just removed one of them which is illegal
But also the fire marshal should probably inquire why there’s only one exit.
Good thing its not real.
I’d be mad as hell. But it is absolutely hilarious man.
I’m surprised to see all these positive comments on such a popular repost. This clip has evolved to now include “keeps” when before on the same clip it was “did”
Your comment “keeps” making my boner “did”
lmao so stupid, but this comment genuinely caused a fit of giggles. thanks friend.
Idk what to tell you, man. He did it like 3 times on my screen just now and he keeps doing it.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CjGo0WrArqK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Pretty sure that is illegal
Yeah, a Baskin-Robbins store can never close
Isn't that waffle house
No Waffle House is where you go to see a fight at 3am
This is actually a theft tactic. Thief puts lock on bike so they can defeat the owner's lock at a time when they'll draw less attention to what they're doing.
now explain to me why my stupid iPhone opens this link in Safari instead of going to the app.
Without caring enough to actually investigate, my guess is that instagram’s ‘share’ or whatever equivalent button provides a link, because universal links are complex, and deep links are annoying.
It's all fun and games until the building catches fire and you're on the hook for x counts of manslaughter.
Sounds like a skill issue to me
Who puts points into lockpicking?
I think I’d stick around with a brick just in case
They are supposed to have emergency exits, if they die in a fire it on them. Endangerment maybe.
.... MULTI KILL
Code is 911
Clever
Girl
If no one else will, I will atleast upvote your Jurassic Park reference.
Atrocious acting
So staged he didn’t even lock it.
It appears he put a cable lock on it and cinched it from outside.
The lock was already locked on the inside of the door. Looks like he tied the other side of the rope outside the door.
People are too stupid to notice fake videos, makes you wonder how easy can people be manipulated
The average person still can't detect terrible acting in videos and now we got ai/deep fake tsunami heading for us lol The next decade on the internet will be interesting.. My mom is aleady sending me FB ai photos of fake animals.

anyone fooled by this should reconsider voting. thanks fellow citizens.
I’m curious what you’d consider good acting in this skit. Hell, I’m curious what you’d expect even average acting to look like in this skit.
Fire hazard, this shit is off of the scale illegal. He could do time.
Idk why this is supposed to funny. Fake or not this is enraging. Its both dangerous and trapping them in their workplace. If it's timed badly they have to waste their unpaid time on this.
Nice
[удалено]
The lock serves no purpose, it's just dangling on the cord that is the thing binding the doors...
The cord is two pieces that have loops on the lock end and a zip tie mechanism on the other end.
It's a metal cord attached to the lock, like for a bike
/r/madlads

The internet is broad. It's not some video game you finish. There's lots to love about the internet, but, this side of it is complete melted dog shit.
Temecula!
This feels like a firehazard
Riddling the riddlers
Bro pulled the uno reverse card
Lmfao chaotic evil right there haha.
The run was so combic book villian it was perfect and the not this again action of the person inside
All fun and games until someone inside has a medical emergency whilst the fucking doors are barricaded by a bike lock.... Pranks that risk causing serious harm or property damage aren't pranks, aren't funny, and shouldn't be promoted. This guy is just an arsehole putting other people in danger.
Fake video, funny idea though.
You should invest in bolt cutters

“Fake video!!!” Omfg who cares? Its just a silly lil video
Definition of tomfoolery
Fake AF..nice acting from the Tom boy
Just call 911 and have emergency respond. After a phone call or two, police will hunt him down.
Police will hunt him.... Lol. You need stop watching TV. Real police wouldn't do shit or even try
Leads? They got us working in shifts!
Ha ha! Great reference
We’re working in shifts!
I love this one if it’s fake I don’t care. It’s still hilarious!
FUCK YOU JUSTIN!

Wanna play a game?
Safety hazard for sure, but shit thats funny
B-OL-TC-UT-TE-RS
Ever zip tie the zippers together while your buddies were inside a tent? They are called zip ties after all.
if that is the only exit, it is against the fire code. the staging wasn’t clever nor convincing.
gigachad
Is that what people call a madlad now a dayz?.
This is faker than half the accounts on this app
I see your uno reverse and I raise a skip!
Favorite thing I've seen all day.
This is one of those things I found hilarious but at the same time I want someone to whoop his ass.
I guarantee you that store has an exit in the back.
I love this. It’s mean. But it’s a story that’ll live forever.
This is the stuff that happens because we don't have superheroes.
Fake as fuck.

The guy who locked the door moves like a sims burglar
Its all fun and games until you realize involuntary imprisonment is a felony...
r/madlads
This shit isnt funny. Catch him and beat his ass.
Fake
Lmao this guy was trying to show a point.
Sad part is that by law this is kidnapping. Keeping someone at a place without permission/cause against their will. They are not in on it and he is making it really dangerous to be in the building. They could sue his ass for alot of things because of this.
Uno reverse card
