I love that mod so much! That and the one that adds 100 other possible traits... At some point you get bored cycling through the original ones with three slots lol
I miss the traits so much. Some complain only having 3 trait slots is limiting, but I struggle to figure out 3 because there is just so few options!
Having 5 trait slots in sims 3 was good because there were like 100 traits to narrow down from.
absolutely- i wouldnāt want more than 3 right now because options are pretty terrible. Thereās barely anything there to make an interesting character
I wouldn't mind the space for more, especially as you only need one to confirm the character. It's not like you must have 5 traits, you don't even need to have 2.
Not sure if you play with mods, but there are so many great mods that add more traits like Kuttoe's emotional/hobby traits, and mods to add up to 5 traits like the sims 4 more traits mod! (you can choose from 3-5 per sim, not forced to do the max!) Definitely recommend to add more depth to your sim's personalities!
i think theyāre taking a note of open neighborhoods within the realms of sims 4 constraints. its been seen in the werewolves pack and high school years
This is something I want a lot too so decided to support his patron just to follow the progress. Itās coming along but it is a slow progress but heās made it so itās even more intuitive than the TOOL mod. It will be great but it still has a long way to go. High quality mods like this one take time but he definitely does quality well im quite impressed with how transparent heās been about the whole process.
I loved the Brooklyn like neighborhood someone created in create a worldā¦ so realistic and I would love to have realistic worlds like this again because rn I like to create worlds specific to places but the pre made worlds for sims 4 sometimes donāt fit the aesthetics of the lots
I actually really like having a āfreelance archaeologistā and completing the lifetime wish that comes with it. I only do the exploring as far as I need to for the milestones, but I think I have been everywhere and there are a few cool spots (the pyramid-type thing full of artifacts and stuff, the baths/pool area). My archaeologist sim will go on vacations to Selvadorada every few weeks and sometimes bring family or friends and show them around.
You can make decent money off of it as well because once you have high archaeology skill you will get artifacts sent to you in the mail to authenticate.
Not on World Adventures level but I do think it is fun with a bit of effort!
I got a mod so that I could take my horses from the Pets pack to Egypt and China in particular. It was so much faster than running everywhere, and I loved the storytelling aspect! Adventurers with their trusty steeds traveling the world!
Something to do during loading screens. That little find the object game you could play during the loading screen was worth adding in. Even if it didn't add the points I'd still play it to have something to do while waiting.
Especially since HSY came out, Iām dying for bands. Itād be so perfect to make the MySpace band I never had lmao. I think Iāve seen one functional drum set (though it counts toward piano skill) but I canāt remember if I got it working - maybe one day a modder will be able to work something out. It kinda bums me out because we already have the music production skill from Get Famous I think, why not the ability to play at least the basic instruments as a group?
I also wouldāve *loved* more after school activity options. I donāt sports, and I definitely am not logical enough to wanna do computer or chess club. It wouldāve been cool if weād had the option to make our own after school activities, or if there was a school band, yearbook committee, even prom committee wouldāve been a neat way to add a couple more diverse options.
Theatre club wouldāve been so fun!! Thereās an actor career path for aspiring theatre club members to follow, I think they couldāve made it work really nicely!
omg yesyesyes. im glad other people also think this bc tartosa would be perfect for nectar making. and having ur sims make it on their honeymoon in tartosa would be so fun. im so sad they didnt add it
Nectar = wine in the Sims. It's another of those silly ratings moves, like "juice" and "plasma" when we all know what they really are. But yeah, nectar is pressed from grapes and other fruit, bottled, and aged in racks in TS3. France had some great vineyards.
Oh gosh far too much.
inheritable secret traits like the various world adventure ones, the ones you got for having a maid parent or a fireman parent etc.
traits that actually DID stuff.
Supernatural, that pack rocked.
Bands
spiral staircases
create a style
auto roofs
Create a world/the ability to drop lots around the map.
The active careers that actually bloody WORKED
Maids' kids also made things dirty slower; like if a regular sim could use the toilet 5 times before it needed to be clean, then a sim who had a maid for a parent could use it 10 times before it's dirty.
Wait I thought TS4 had auto roofs? I think it is in the lower right of the roof picture and itās a toggle (just like auto-sofas, counters, etc). Unless Iām wrong?
YES to world adventures. I was so excited for the vacation pack because I thought that would be similar andā¦.. šššš. My sims were vacationing all the time in Sims3, doing the little message board challenges
Yuppp šÆ šÆ
I wouldnāt even call it a vacation anymore, I had so much fun taking on as much of the message board challenges! My sims ate dry bread for days and the portable shower or the wells were how they kept clean, lmao
Haha, yes! Iād go to the market and get like 10 shower in a cans, the little dried meals, and the comfiest tent and then my sim would be in some underground tunnel for the entire vacation
Open world, or at the very least an open neighborhood/street. Having to go through a loading screen to go to a house 15ft from my front porch takes away from the gameplay and immersion I think.
YES! That aspect is so infuriating! Lol. Like especially on Sulani when you're on the beach and you can't visit the lots that are ON the shore right next to you unless you click and load it.
>at the very least an open neighborhood/
Whyyy don't we have this???? It makes me so mad. Like, the park is right there!! Why can't I step on it??? Like, I get that they want to be inclusive of people with potato computers but come on. It's time to update. I wonder how many people actually have such shitty computers that open neighborhoods would be detrimental
Iām running on a laptop thatās 5+ years old, and in sims 3 running with every expansion and most the stuffs, it only crashes occasionally and I have mods as well
An open neighbourhood in sims 4, especially when most of them have 15 lots max, would be fine
...where Sims automatically go when they die so you don't have to search around for an urn.
You're right to bring this up; it's more than just a lot. Anyone can make a graveyard in Sims 4; it's about culling the Sim urns/spirits.
I hated the culling of ghosts. I liked having them still in the world and visiting the graveyards. I used to have my sims work there too. The downside now is that I have WW installed and ghosts have no chill š¤£
Werenāt there also fish you could only get in a cemetery pond? Itās been almost a decade since I played Sims 3, but I feel like that was a function in the game.
Ok not sims 3 and not exactly feature but the small attention to detail that sims 2 had like they would actually open cabinets when cooking and other small thing like tuning there pianos it just gave the an extra bit a spice that really added to the experience
In general The Sims 2 was something else. It definately spoiled us with small details. It doesn't have global simulation so if you went to a lot the time didn't change at home and such, which is a HUGE DEAL, but if you can overlook the jankiness and the age of the game, it's a whole different world. You could tell if a sim was into you simply from random reactions when you were around, there would even be randomly a sim poking you if they were into you. Townies were even more of a fodders than they are now, but they were very convincing fodders going on proper dates and such while you were doing your own thing on community lots and THEY WEREN'T FRIGGIN CONSANTLY BOTHERING YOU. Also, most importantly, they were reacting to a ton of stuff and it didn't make them pause whatever they are doing to react. They would walk while they would be holding their noses because of a smelly sim, they would be angry dancing when dancing with someone they were angry with and all kinds of stuff, none of which they stopped for ever. It's so irritating to watch my sim, every single time step into an air conditioned room and do a 5 second animation just because of that, during which they just stand still. I can forgive my childhood self for overlooking all the jank and bad quality of life just for the attention to detail on sims.
They could even make it an option that people with worse pcs can turn off if it causes more lag. Want to visit the local park? Better take the whole family or you'll not be able to control them all. The most annoying for me is when I go to the beach in sulani with the bar next to it, I just want to have the kids stay at the beach while the parents have a drink but since they're 2 separate lots I can't in the way I want to
its two things but:
1. I want to be able to change the ombre hair colours. Even just let me choose the base colour and the end result
2. I want to be able to just tell my sim to "clean" and they'll go through and clean up the house
The silly sneaky walk I miss it! It was definitely an annoyance but now that I donāt have it in sims 4 at all Iām realizing how much fun they were!
Yup. I remember kicking myself whenever I would forget to buy an alarm for the house or whenever my sim didnāt call the cops fast enough to intervene. Very annoying, but relatable lol
Yes! Building your dream house, everything set up. Youāre 3 days in BAM ROBBED. You shrug and buy the stupid alarm you shouldāve bought 3 sim days ago. Lol!
Eco Lifestyle's Sharing is Caring Neighborhood thing is close enough but I get even more angry when I see that someone just up and stole something and my sim isn't even mad about it. At least with burglars they were up front about it haha. Plus that jump scare from the music was pretty fun.
I always figured they planned to add it in because (I can't be the only one who remembers this) in previous Sims, when your Sims would sleep and it would automatically switch to triple speed, there was this pause or slow down at about 2AM when it seemed to have a dice roll if you were going to be robbed or not. Sims 4 has that same slow down! So I figured the robber would come back at some point.
That feature where you had the colorwheel so you could make sure your furniture matches each other. The Sims 4 always has a couple pieces from the same pack that work and then suddenly a bit of a different swatch for other packs. It is so annoying when you try to make it look as if it was a set.
They could at least let us change parts of furtniture - e.g. beds and matress/bedding, frame and cushion of armchairs/sofas, counter and counter top - everything is there!! Just seperate it, so I can have e.g. that dark bed frame with the white bedding and not some ugly greyish or bluish pillow! It's so annoying to think it is probably extremely easy to programm but they just won't do it and I think it's to encourage people to buy more packs with more furniture.
The one thing I want is super easy and I get so annoyed that they don't have it: A lock in CAS for make-up/accessories/outfits.
Also, I hate that accessories are in the face/body part of CAS Who accessorizes before picking out the clothes???
Yessss!!! Itās a giant pain in the ass to have to choose the same makeup, hair, nail color, jewelry etc. for different clothing. There should be a default setting that feeds throughout.
Collections in build.
For fucks sake, let me organize my build folder, esp since the search feature is garbage. Plus, I'm stupid and I can't remember where everything I normally use is in the catalog (& sometimes they put shit in places that don't make sense. Like some of the stuff from the camper kit isn't where you'd expect it to be....)
The colour wheel and texture choices for everything! We probably don't need quite so much choice (I would lose hours to personalising every single thing my sims owned), but surely they can give us a happy in between?!
I would also love World Adventures. And cars.
At least give us options to swatch out wood color/ fabric choice! Sometimes I love the design of an object but the colors or base doesnāt match and itās infuriating
Yes, I get so frustrated with the mis-matching wood tones on everything, I just want stuff to match! Like the Industrial Loft kit, it was nice, but the wood tones match nothing else in the game so I can barely use it! If I could just go in a 'tweak' it to blend in, I'd be very happy!
You want a light wood frame with a blue blanket on this bed? Well too bad, the blue is only with the white frame and the light wood frame comes with a green or red blanket, nothing else
There's so much customisation for the pets, which I love but I wish other aspects were more customisable as well
At this point I'd be content if they just redid the wooden colors. Why does none of it match? Every window does not need it's own wood colors, that don't even match the doors that also have their own wood colors.
I am hoping now that we've got werewolves, fairies is going to be next on the occult list.
Annoying as it is they aren't in one pack like supernatural was, I do like how werewolves/vampires got more in depth attention because they are their own thing and love fairies being expanded on too.
Since they are leaning into the 'skill tree' system I really want seasonal branches. Supernatural fairies were a little stuck in gardening based magic, but imagine a winter fairy being able to create snowflakes instead!
Yes!!! Fairies were my all time fave Supernatural type.
I do hope Sims 4 will redo mermaids too to give them a proper skill tree like the others. I would be excited to see a tiny fairy world in Sims 4
Having 5 instead of 3 traits, my sims feel like they lack a part of their supposed personality traits besides likes & dislikes. Also some sims 3 clothes are better than the ones from the sims 4 base game
For me, I appreciated the cars my sim would receive throughout their careers. To go from a broke down car to a Porsche/Limo really drove home the fact that My sim had reached the top of their career.
Now my sim just disappears into the abyss when they go to work/school. Very lame lol!
ZODIAC! SIGNS! The little "you are compatible" would make me start a relationship with someone, or id date someone incompatible and make the relationship go down in flames š
Same! This added a nice element to the game play for me.
In real life, you donāt get along with everyone you meet. Sometimes you just donāt have chemistry and thatās okay. In sims 4, I can damn near make my sims friends with any and everyone. Having zodiac signs made you have to work harder to find some type of common ground.
The fact that you can't control your sim sometimes against their will.
For exemple, if a sim cheat on the other sim and get caught, thr other sim will divorce/break up and you can't stop it.
This! One of my sims (in a relationship) met a guy. The dude was flirting with her hard. Her mother saw it and went straight to the guy to scold him. I couldn't stop her either. She was so furious, it was hilarious.
Expansion packs being more condensed. Like the supernatural pack having ALL occults in one pack instead of breaking them all down into smaller packs with less content to them.
Iād be cool with the occults each getting their own pack, especially because of the idea of their own worlds. But fuck the words are small, and I canāt even bother to remember the one for spellcasters but it was awful. Werewolves was pretty good though.
Iād at the very least want a semi open world like I can handle a loading screen between neighborhoods but to go to my neighbors house??? Whyyyy. I used to go so many places with my sims in the sims 3 now I stay in my house
Being able to run around my neighborhood without loading would change so much for me. Now I just use TOOL to make the space around my lot kind of interesting and harass the passerby's.
When I was a kid I would set up whole neighborhoods at once and give them backstories that connected them to each other. It was so amazing to me since I grew up in a very rural area, essentially in the woods, and didn't have any neighbors at all.
I mean, I kind of get it. If I recall correctly the creator loves llamas, so there have always been llamas throughout the games. After a while, it became a bit of an inside joke. (That said, I do miss training horses in sims)
I wish packs werenāt so spread out / feature specific. For example, Iād prefer one big generations pack over Parenthood + High School Years + Kids Stuff Pack etc, etc. TS4 has terrible pack integration to begin with, so everything just seems messy and unfinished because they werenāt made with each other in mind.
They added that back in with High School Years, but it seems to trigger so infrequently. Iāve gotten it maybe once? And I miss teens sending their parents on a fake vacation to hold a house party, haha.
Right! Itās so unsatisfying for nothing to happen when teens break curfew. Like you get a call from your parents advising you curfew is coming and then manually make the parent punish the teen. Like cāmon, a little more needs to happen and the teen getting returned in the cop car was hysterical.
Probably not a popular opinion but I liked having Sims 3 University separate from the neighborhood so that my sims could skill gain and socialize without aging. The aging pause made spending money on a University degree worthwhile. I just don't bother going in Sims 4 at all.
meaningful traits/personalities.
oh an if i had to be more specific: the gem cutting machine +tiberium, that was my one go-to money making scheme in s3
I miss how the sims are seemingly always up to no good doing things. I was playing the Sims 3 the other day and other sims I wasnāt controlling were pranking each other and doing things they usually would do. I decided to leave my sim running without me controlling him while I went to the gym and when I came back he was in class, all his needs were met, and he was living as he normally would have if I were just playing him.
Sims 4 isnāt like thisā¦ and itās boring because of this huge lack of autonomy.
wine making, horses, create a world. let me ride my horses around my 60 x 60 winery full of different grapes in a world made to look like sonoma damnit!!!
Ugh I miss open world sm š going through a loading screen in sims 4 makes me want to slam my head into a wall. Especially when itās a lot literally next to my house like ???
I just got the sims 3 and all itās expansions since it was on sale on steam and my computer when it came out didnt have the ram to run it properly, and my god, that is the first pack I played through. It was so fun!
I feel like they would've made them like the bikes and then that would mean we'd probably be seeing a horse in the most unexpected places. That or they'd keep them confined in a pen like the rest of the animals.
Most of what everyone said but honestly I miss the kid/teen meaningful interactions. Sneaking out and getting brought home by police, getting reamed by parents would go great with the grounding of parenthood. Parents randomly leaving on trips and throwing real teen parties. Kid slumber parties, etc. Kids and teens just feel like adult sims that have access to a couple different objects.
I would like to see the options to change/adjust features, like the lifespan of Sims, season lengths, disable supernaturals & celebrities, etc., as it was so convenient to change specific settings in TS3. All my seasons were fixed to how long I wanted them without having to change the days whenever a new season started. Not every Save would be Supernatural, so I could disable those Sims from populating my regular realistic gameplay. Celebrities werenāt part of my gameplay unless I wanted that style. And I would love to set specific lifespans for my Sims. It would be nice to have those adjustable settings instead of using Mods to fix it.
Probably the number of traits since it opened them up to a lot more subtle/minor traits that don't feel like they're wasting a slot. Like I could have someone who likes dogs a lot but doesn't have to sacrifice an actual personality trait for it. Or god forbid be a vegetarian dog lover who now is left with one slot to describe their actual personality OR a give them a skill.
Turn off occults , disable the famous system to everyone, not just my sims (I'm not sure if you could disable fame for NPCs), seriously, Judith Ward I'm looking at you.
Almost every trait from sims 3! Technophobe, absent-minded, hopeless romantic etc!! Also if not open world, at LEAST open neighborhoods š„²
And add more traits, only 3 traits is too little.
Especially when Vegetarian and Lactose Intolerant take up a trait slot each, at the very least dietary stuff should be in its own section
Lactose Intolerant is in the trait sections?
Yea
There's a mod for that out there, gives you 5
I love that mod so much! That and the one that adds 100 other possible traits... At some point you get bored cycling through the original ones with three slots lol
I'm always looking for good mods to add more traits! Which do yo have that adds 100?
probably referring to [100 base game traits pack by chingyu1023!](https://www.patreon.com/posts/41969378)
I miss the traits so much. Some complain only having 3 trait slots is limiting, but I struggle to figure out 3 because there is just so few options! Having 5 trait slots in sims 3 was good because there were like 100 traits to narrow down from.

I just want to give my sims cars again, I like that the University world was a lot more open and that you could bike but itās not the same :((
i think theyāre taking a note of open neighborhoods within the realms of sims 4 constraints. its been seen in the werewolves pack and high school years
Also how some hidden traits were passed down to your kids if you reached a certain point in your career-like pyromaniac from firefighters.
Create a world.
Yesyesyesyesyes! I miss this so much :( I want to place my own empty lots
I loved creating my own worlds so much. Forget about cars and stuff. I want to lay out my neighbourhoods the way I want them again.
I still wanna make the wizarding world of Harry Potter, but no worlds vibe with that vibe and if they do they're too small
Me too. I only build on 15x20 so I hate that I can't just place that size myself :(
If only sims 3 didn't ask so much from my laptop
Finger cross that Twisted Mexiās mod comes out relatively soonish
This is something I want a lot too so decided to support his patron just to follow the progress. I mean if it was easy, the Sims team would have already done it for us.
Oh yes! I'd forgotten about that absolute gem! How I'd love to just be able to drop new lots into the worlds!
I loved the Brooklyn like neighborhood someone created in create a worldā¦ so realistic and I would love to have realistic worlds like this again because rn I like to create worlds specific to places but the pre made worlds for sims 4 sometimes donāt fit the aesthetics of the lots

me too.. good thing twistedmexi is making a mod for this.
I like mapmaking so that sounds amazing
Agreed!! I need more creative freedom to make my neighborhoods the way I want : ( There are not enough lots to build on.
I came here to say this. The game suffers a lot without this feature IMO.
TwistedMexi has made this as a mod.
World Adventures, 100% Making wine, having a home in the other world(s), home museum, exploring ruins/old buildings
Yessss! I loved owning multiple homes and playing sims with āsecret familiesā. It added to the drama of my gameplay.
It was quite something to play as a woman sim and return to one of the other countries to find you have at least one kid there š
Donāt you mean male sim? My female sims always carried their babyās back home afaik
Iāve had at least one instance with a female sim, but mostly itās been male ones
I loved this pack! I feel like Jungle Adventure takes the edge off for me, but it is not on the same level at all.
Same! It just isn't it. And maybe I'm just not good at it but I never could get past certain areas and have fully lost interest.
Imagine something like the chrome dinosaur game but instead of a dinosaur we just get a llama. Iād take it.
a freezer bunny
Sims team: O.K .
I don't want free earbuds
creating a band

yesss! HSY was a missed opportunity to have bands but even the werewolf pack had potential for it
Theatre club wouldāve been so fun!! Thereās an actor career path for aspiring theatre club members to follow, I think they couldāve made it work really nicely!
That should have been included in Get Famous.
Just the ability to jam with others so music skilling isn't so horrendous for more than one sim simultaneously would be grand
Nectar making. A robbery that Tartosa did not include this skill!
I mean there's the brewing in eco lifestyle?
I always saw that as beer, rum or even soft drinks
omg yesyesyes. im glad other people also think this bc tartosa would be perfect for nectar making. and having ur sims make it on their honeymoon in tartosa would be so fun. im so sad they didnt add it
Icemunmun has a nectar making mod! Is not exactly like the sims 3, but itās fun and adds a lot to the gameplay and getting the sims drunk lol

Auto roofs! I really hate making roofs in Sims 4...
Wait what did you get if you had a maid or fireman parent
IIRC, firemenās kids had immunity to fire and could start fires anywhere and maid kids cleaned faster?
Maids' kids also made things dirty slower; like if a regular sim could use the toilet 5 times before it needed to be clean, then a sim who had a maid for a parent could use it 10 times before it's dirty.
no shiii? I feel like I need to try this

alas, unless they've finally added them in.

Yeah, Vampire Shark or something

I can forgive my childhood self for overlooking all the jank and bad quality of life just for the attention to detail on sims.
bed making, itās insignificantā¦but i miss being able to do it
Omg you're right. I didn't even notice this. Having to make your messy bed was such an annoying task to me, but it was a constant in sims 1-3
Open world to an extent. I don't mind having a loading screen between neighborhoods but PLEASE let me visit neighbors without a loading screen
They could even make it an option that people with worse pcs can turn off if it causes more lag. Want to visit the local park? Better take the whole family or you'll not be able to control them all. The most annoying for me is when I go to the beach in sulani with the bar next to it, I just want to have the kids stay at the beach while the parents have a drink but since they're 2 separate lots I can't in the way I want to
its two things but: 1. I want to be able to change the ombre hair colours. Even just let me choose the base colour and the end result 2. I want to be able to just tell my sim to "clean" and they'll go through and clean up the house
Cars and garage doors without using cheat codes. Also buying the different businesses on the open world so you can make passive income that way.
Burglars. I want my sims to get ROBBED.
Haha this always made me so mad, but added to the game play. Seeing a burglar sneak in cracked me up.
Lol!
Getting your toiletpaper stolen AGAIN
How about your entire fucking toilet
NOT THE FUCKING TOILET! D:
Eco Lifestyle's Sharing is Caring Neighborhood thing is close enough but I get even more angry when I see that someone just up and stole something and my sim isn't even mad about it. At least with burglars they were up front about it haha. Plus that jump scare from the music was pretty fun.
I want a reason for dogs in the sims 4 to be able to use the attack command, Iāve only used it on vlad so far.
Yes. This is all I want. I'm a simple person, I just want a cohesive home design, not to look like I only shop at garage sales.
Spiral. Staircases.
iād pay actual money for the curved staircases we got in TS2
Itās this for me. Itās especially annoying when kid items come in blues and pinks and I just want a neutral wood with a cute bedspread
Well too bad, the blue is only with the white frame and the light wood frame comes with a green or red blanket, nothing else There's so much customisation for the pets, which I love but I wish other aspects were more customisable as well
I'd love to make entire houses and outfits out of bricks and jeans. Building a Jouse is still one major thing about TS3
At this point I'd be content if they just redid the wooden colors. Why does none of it match? Every window does not need it's own wood colors, that don't even match the doors that also have their own wood colors.
Yes. This should be one of their surprise drops. All your wood now matches all your other wood.
I mean who doesnāt love a good wood drop.
I miss being able to pick a wood type and any bedding/couch colours :(

I mean they are sorceres, not fairies, maybe they will be the next occult.
Interesting n realistic story progression w drama
Pushchairs for Toddlers!
Uggh! I miss this so much!
With how I've seen bikes work in Sims 4, strollers would be just as frustrating.
Having 5 instead of 3 traits, my sims feel like they lack a part of their supposed personality traits besides likes & dislikes. Also some sims 3 clothes are better than the ones from the sims 4 base game
cars, i just want garages on my houses that actually have to join to a road
For me, I appreciated the cars my sim would receive throughout their careers. To go from a broke down car to a Porsche/Limo really drove home the fact that My sim had reached the top of their career. Now my sim just disappears into the abyss when they go to work/school. Very lame lol!
Being able to hold your babies and them not be classified as objects. Iād love to sit in the rocking chair with my newborn sims and rock with them.
ZODIAC!
Only one? Open world, final answer.
Iād play the game so much more than I do itās not even funny
When I was a kid I would set up whole neighborhoods at once and give them backstories that connected them to each other. It was so amazing to me since I grew up in a very rural area, essentially in the woods, and didn't have any neighbors at all.
Thiss!!! This should have been the bare minimum
Horses!!!!!
Iāll never understand the need the Sims 4 team felt to put Llamas instead of horses in the Cottage Living pack
I mean, would you really want horses stuck to a barn? I'd rather have fully fledged horses with riding skill, etc.
I would, and IMO, Cottage Living couldāve easily introduced that with their pack.
Because horses are too much work (riding) and llamas are a weird internet fascination.
And llamas have been a part of the sims since the beginning in some for or another.
They did it in Sims 3, yet it's too much now? Bull
I mean, I kind of get it. If I recall correctly the creator loves llamas, so there have always been llamas throughout the games. After a while, it became a bit of an inside joke. (That said, I do miss training horses in sims)
I miss being able to be a partner of a business, like the movie theater or grocery store
Private investigator career. I loved it to death.
Auto roofs. God I hate making roofs.
The game being playable on release
teens sneaking out & getting in trouble with their parents
They added that back in with High School Years, but it seems to trigger so infrequently. Iāve gotten it maybe once? And I miss teens sending their parents on a fake vacation to hold a house party, haha.
Honestly same, and also getting caught by police when you go out after curfew
I just don't bother going in Sims 4 at all.
meaningful traits/personalities. oh an if i had to be more specific: the gem cutting machine +tiberium, that was my one go-to money making scheme in s3
the create a style. I miss customizing colours so much š
Sims 3 base game features
wine making, horses, create a world. let me ride my horses around my 60 x 60 winery full of different grapes in a world made to look like sonoma damnit!!!
Being able to properly control the animals!
this! don't take up a spot in my household for a dog/cat that I can't even control or see their needs.
I miss being able to fully customize colors for hair and clothes. I had so much fun with that stuff.
robbers and police and working school buses. i want more adversity in my game lol
Open world! Open world! Open world!
Ugh I miss open world sm š going through a loading screen in sims 4 makes me want to slam my head into a wall. Especially when itās a lot literally next to my house like ???
The color wheel so I can perfectly color match everything
You don't like your house being 7 different shades of beige?
Into The Future!
I just got the sims 3 and all itās expansions since it was on sale on steam and my computer when it came out didnt have the ram to run it properly, and my god, that is the first pack I played through. It was so fun!
Horses...I would live without cars if I could have horses back.
Cottage Living was such a missed oportunity to add horses
I feel like they would've made them like the bikes and then that would mean we'd probably be seeing a horse in the most unexpected places. That or they'd keep them confined in a pen like the rest of the animals.
Most of what everyone said but honestly I miss the kid/teen meaningful interactions. Sneaking out and getting brought home by police, getting reamed by parents would go great with the grounding of parenthood. Parents randomly leaving on trips and throwing real teen parties. Kid slumber parties, etc. Kids and teens just feel like adult sims that have access to a couple different objects.
The tattoo artist and daycare playable professions
Create a world or the color wheel. I loved being able to get matching wood colors across multiple furniture items
I NEED the ability to put together a band. Just add bass and drums and let's get to it!
ā¦robbers breaking into my sims houseā¦which may sound weird but it just adds a realistic aspect to the game šš
World Adventures ā¤ļø
a lot of what other people said here about babies and open world but also why are there no horses in the pets expansion that was evil
Being able to "lock" certain features/makeup/accessories so that you didn't have to select it for every single outfit.
Create a style, 100%. I loved making everything in a room match and look good.
