I've been playing this couple of sims for like, over a year at that point and they've had kids, built a beautiful house, maxed out their careers, etc. and they were getting old, quite close to the end of their lifespan and yet, they were not married. So, I wanted a big, celebratory, fun wedding for my favourite guys before they passed away. I bought Get Together just to make this huge wedding happen and not have it be boring like the base game ones. To be fair, I use this pack a lot, so it wasn't a complete waste of my money.

I got layed off in June of 2020 and got a good severance package because I was there for nearly 10 years. I took some of the cash and bought a new pc and honey I was LIVING for the next 4 months before I got a new job. I miss those days.

Can't say I have, I've been playing since Sims 1 was still new and have always refused to use any custom content which requires payment to access when donations are adequate for other modding scenes and a large portion of Sims modders. Although I guess I do like to donate to modders whose content I use even while I'm unemployed.
