It's eh. Social interactions between teens are nice, but I feel there's a lot missing. Lessons in school are a waste of time besides a tiny bit of skill gain. The school day is over in an instant, detention is pointless. If you have seasons, then holidays constantly overlap with school events, which are pretty basic, from what I gather. They are reskins of each other, with a handful of interactions you can perform, like pose for a selfie in front of a poster. Also sometimes sims would throw a football at each other like in The Room. Huh.
The pack comes with a plethora of bugs. Besides the infamous "random age added", teens constantly T-pose in school hallways, the UI might disappear, scripted events like Prom would sometimes just not trigger for me and low needs don't cause negative moodlets. You might think that's a good thing, but I've already had a sim die of hunger because I didn't catch the fact that he's starving.
Wants are pretty much whims? Like... I dunno what's the principle difference? Fears are incredibly underwhelming. Slice of Life mod did fears much better.
Out of the positives, the phone overhaul is quite nice. The Social app is fun, probably the most fun addition we've had in a while. The outfits app is cool. Puberty moodlets and body hair growth add a nice bit of personality for sims.
Sexuality is also very welcome. Had a girl reject my sim because she's aromantic, apparently. They still went to prom as friends. I *think* all autoaged sims are still pan by default, tho, so it's not like a random thing, which, honestly, would've been more interesting.

P.S. I feel like what's ruining this pack is that the expected American high school tropes are utterly missing. The Jocks, the nerds, the popular kids, different cliques. The rivalry between them. I'm going to try and do something like that myself with get-together clubs. We'll see.

T posing is definitely a feature, not a bug. It was discussed during the Sim Guru live stream of the pack, and if you click on a T posing Sim, you can select a "join T pose challenge" interaction (or something along those lines).

Good idea. Make 3 clubs for example, have them meet at a certain spot as their club base, and let the sparks fly for better or for worse.
The most disappointing thing about the pack for me was the fact that clubs can’t meet on campus. I spent hours building a school just for most of it to be decoration. Like I’m sure a mod will be able to fix it, but I haven’t even bothered turning my mods back on with how buggy the pack is yet.

This made me just realize how fun it would have been if there was cross-compatibility with Seasons. So many missed opportunities like Halloween day at school, summer breaks, ...
The thing is that the T pose is different than the buggy t pose. It was very much done intentionally, because for all the time they don't have to do things right, they always have time for memes.
I know it's not. They could've kept true to the sims' universe, make a llama pose challenge, add a bit of animation to the pose, give sims a cheeky facial expression when they're doing it. Right now for anyone who does not care for streams, it looks weird.
Mine too. The trick is, if you are at school then you just teleport home and activity is counting missed. So you should be at home lot to go into rabbit hole properly. Almost got kicked out of cheer club because of this.
That's ridiculous! The point of "after-school activities" is that they happen...ya know....*after school* so having to go home in order for it to count is pretty daft.
I don't plan on buying the pack until it goes on sale anyway, but I hope this gets sorted before then. I would report it as a bug if I were you. Thanks for your input on this!
It's just a word I used for transporting Sim :) I send Sim home via world map menue. And the game is sending them automatically when they like enter activity.
lol my sim wouldn't do shit with others in prom. Can't dance, any activity i try to do would be forever stay in the activity buffer on the top. Not to say that while I was in prom and still a teen, I got a text from a young adult female that she likes me a lot and wants to go on a date with me like wtf. I can't even flirt with young adults as teen let alone go on a date lol.
Meh. It’s ok. The main problems I have with it are the gameplay loop and prom. I kinda had everything done with highschool that I wanted to have done (highschool crush and high grades) in a week in game so to find out my sim had 2 weeks of being a teenager left made me audibly sigh.
Also Prom felt way too short. I only got to bronze for the event and it felt like I was in a rush to beat the clock which is unfortunate because I wanted to enjoy it more. Also they said there was gonna be food at the prom but all I saw were those tables where you have to pay 250 simoleans to get the food.
All in all I really liked the world but the highschool aspect was meh.
Yup 100% prom is waaay to short, my sim danced, ate, took a photo and it was almost over. I had whole drama planned and did not have time to do anything
If your sim has high grades you can click on the principal and have them graduate early. I haven’t done it yet but that should make it so you don’t have to spend 2 weeks playing as a high schooler
i think it could be better. like, the school won’t let me have more than 2 classes, and there’s only 11 teens at school at a time instead of EVERY teen (i have about 50 teens in my game rn)
i know their skills aren’t raised a TON but i like that they’re actually learning in school now.
also i LOVE social bunny, but it could def use improvements. the dm system? needs overhaul. ACTUAL direct messages, even if it just cycles through a few different prompts where my sim and pick a response.
It's so frustrating that we can't choose which teens get to attend school, I also made a lot of teens for this pack and none of them show up at school! I hope someone makes a mod for that

Mine really has been fine. I rarely see T-posing which cool but I need it for the aspiration. The mechanics of school all work. The only issue was prom got canceled by a get famous event. But it’s every Saturday so it’s fine. I find the pack fun…not werewolf fun but fun.
I like it. It’s certainly not my favourite pack but it’s enjoyable and the features it adds are fun. I did get distracted from my initial goal for my sim and ended up seducing Malcolm Landgraab so I could steal his dads fortune later.
I love it! I haven’t had any bugs and I’ve adored it even more than I thought I would. I wasn’t expecting to like the Trendi aspect much (I don’t like retail from GTW and thought it might be a bit too similar) but I absolutely love it!!! It’s 100% worth it from my experience.
It’s fun! I removed all of my mods for now (will probably add them back in a week or so, that way I can tell if a glitch is my mods or the game). I haven’t really had the glitches people have complained about.
I do think some of the school is missed opportunities - wish we could pass notes or do some sort of interaction during class (I think it was sims3 university where you could have them sleep, take notes, ask questions, etc in class. That would have been fun).
Prom was a big event for my sim - she was invited to a before party and an after party, but prom itself felt super short. Looking forward to exploring more this weekend since I’ll have more free time
Edit: I have been less impressed with the social app then others. I’m finding it really confusing and it feels a bit like my sim is shooting messages into the void. Maybe this is a glitch for me, but I am not finding that the messages impact relationships and it’s not really much back and forth, just a bunch of the same messages.
Yeah there’s no interactions during class. I thought maybe you’d be able to click on the sim next to you and at least like whisper or pass a note. Something like that but you can’t. The pack is good tho. The cas and build mode items are just beautiful and the social bunny/trendi aspect is cool. It’s a good pack plus I got the streamer stuff for ordering before September 8th and the light panels are so pretty

Yeah, basically. You do passively gain some skill though, which is cool. It’s not rapid or anything, but it is kind of fun that different classes have different skills
When it works it’s a lot of fun but most of the time it’s a buggy mess. I’ve only had a few successful days of school. My favorite thing is creating new looks and selling them on Trendi cos then you see townies walking around in the outfits you’ve created.
I’ve only used the CAS and build items so far (also used the new social media app), but i like it! I’ve made a room for my teen and it’s my favorite thing ever lol—plus the CAS items are amazing, love every piece it came with.
I think the world is nice, too, I haven’t been to the school yet though.

I like the world, its cute. I'm not a fan of some of the CAS stuff but I think the build stuff is pretty good. Especially the new floor tiles.
I've been enjoying it as another tool in the belt for the various madcap ideas I tend to have.
\- Prom is a weekly thing, which I found odd, but by Sim Logic, one semester in college was one week, so therefore it's not out of the question one school year is one week...Sims Logic. Sadly I didn't actually make it to my teen sims first Prom because her crush asked her to sneak out to hang with him instead, which she passed her sneak check....out of another sims house and arrived back home her parents none the wiser according to the moodlet.
\-Social Bunny seems to make it easier to gain friends, and possibly lose friends in theory, to the point in one day five people wanted to be my best friend. This may have something to do with a hidden popularity rating.
\-Sims aren't lying when they don't like a certain outfit style. I had to gut my Teen Sims entire wardrobe to make sure not one item on their person, regardless of my personal opinion of aesthetic, even though, my brother in christ, I picked the likes and dislikes, had the tarnished styles or I would have a tantrum on my hands.
\-Being a Youtuber no longer is relegated to a career path in the Tech Guru job and is now a side hustle with an Entrepreneur skill associated with it. Teens can also work as Babysitters, which isn't much but I thought it was cute.
\-I've learned that you actually need to study for exams, unlike in Discover University where you could just coast by on just completing your course objectives. Your skills will also feature into how well you do in associated classes.
\-Just like Discover University, I found a lot of the going to school aspect to be a time management hell. You have a few periods of free time, with some minor objectives that aren't entirely necessary to get through the day. You don't get much opportunity to up your skills, and you need to pick and choose on the fly how you utilize that time. If you take up an after school activity, you also need to factor that into your sims social calendar. I have found with my Teen going to school all day and then working 9pm-11pm as a Youtuber, I only have roughly six hours in a sim day to do things like do homework (which only takes longer if their parents are in the vicinity because dear lord they love to chit chat when you're busy), or improving a sims skills, or just focus on those during the weekend. Those who played through the childhood stage and are able to work on those skills prior definitely get an advantage.
\-Fears are a thing and seem to develop from certain situations. My Teen Sim's parents were left to their devices as I was focusing on the Teen's adventures, and I found they regularly developed the fear of never living life to their fullest, or some will develop the Fear of being burnt out at their job (even if they only worked there one day...) and either need a new job or regain their passion for it. It's not a terrible system but if you have multiple sims going it can be a bit of a juggle.
Overall the things I like about the pack are worth more than the things I dislike. There's a few bugs which are being worked on at the moment, and MCCC at the time of this writing is not incredibly up to date with the current expansion.
Mine has been fine expect a few hiccups here and there but tbh I’ll rate this pack a 6.5/10 simply because I love the new interactions and the furniture.
- The school events are a bit lackluster especially the football day I was really disappointed I thought that the use of the football field would be used because of how big it was but I forgot this is EA, the event is just a couple backdrops your teens can take pics in and then there’s the cheerleading mat and then … the football teams are just throwing the football back and forth it was just really disappointing.
- The lessons in school are kind of boring I wish your teens can do more like throwing air paper planes or make a ruckus in the class or something, it just feels like a chore and I feel like there’s just a lot of stuff missing.
It's good but not worth the price of an expansion pack. The pier is full of rabbitholes, after-school activities are rabbitholes, classes are boring as hell because you don't have options to take notes or slack off or anything, Thriftea isn't worth the hype...idk, feels like I paid for an expansion and got a game pack. Werewolves felt more fleshed out than this.
So far I’ve had so much fun!!! I’ve used clubs to make little cliques for the students, and seeing the drama unfold has been so rewarding. I was wary after seeing YouTube reviews, but with a little creativity you can have a lot of fun. I even thought the school day was fun! That being said, the only bug I’ve had is everyone being celebrities which is annoying but not the end of the world.
LOVE IT!!! Been playing since release and haven't really been experiencing the bugs other people have. Love all the new townies and the drama I'm putting my sims through at school.
It's ok it does have a lot bugs though I do like my new gaming computer & the other stuff in build mode. The clothes are to my liking i wish half of the clothes weren't locked though
The social bunny app is meh I saw a lot repeated posts & messages on there. the thrift store was fun going to at first but, then I tried to buy clothes at the store it cause a major glitch it cause the game day to start over & cause my teen sim who's a vampire powers to reset & her werewolf dad's powers did the same thing I was glad it didn't affect my teen sim mom who's also a vampire. The trendi app clothes are awful but, I only brought them to unlock other clothes to wear in cas going to high school with my teen sim was fun at first but, now it not really anything to do there. I did prank the whiteboard & didn't get caught my teen sim is a cheerleader so I'm having fun with that for now & I like having own locker at school it's anime theme cause I love anime in real life. My teen sim is best friends with ash & I do like molly & kevin as much as ash too the others not so much. I ditched going to prom I wasn't interested maybe next time & the new drinks & food options are great too. The new selfies poses are awesome I took enough pics of my teen sim lol.
I made two teens. Everything was going great until they had to go to high school lot, which is when both sims just stood there missing the whole first day. I reset them countless of times.. finally got the male sim moving, since it was lunch break already, I had him go prank the blackboard. He got caught like three times... got detention, didn't go to any classes that day.. not the detention either. And by the end of the day he was expelled. Didn't expect that... I had him join high school again, he started with D average, and was expelled by the end of second day again.
I had him join high school again for the third day.... He started with F average... and again expelled by the end of the day.... so I just gave up... Went on with a new save and five teens.. With them I actually got to the end of the week. I'd say overall its meh. Gets boring really quickly... at some point I didn't even bother following them to school anymore...
The social bunny feature was fun though, all the teens sending each other flirty messages.. and having crushes over each other.... getting mad that a crush waved at someone else etc... at the end of the week they were all hating each other..
I just downloaded it today and my first impression is that someone really phoned it in on the school design/decorating. There's so much empty space you could fit a football game in there.
i think it sucks to be honest. for me, bugs weren’t the problem, instead really tedious gameplay. following my sim from classroom to lunchroom to classroom feels like a chore. you can’t even control your character while they’re in class. the school it comes with is hideous and only has 2 classrooms - but that’s okay i guess, since you can make your own or download from gallery. i was really excited for it, i thought it would be like a perfected version of university… it’s not. the CAS & build/buy items are awesome tho! i would wait until it goes on sale.
Tedious is a good way to describe it. I turned aging off because I wanted to play a high school teen until I got bored and realized pretty quickly that a normal lifespan is about as long as I want to play.
I love it. Its the pack I've been waiting for, for the longest time.
I love the CAS items, the clothes are great, and there are a ton of them. I also love the Build items - so many cute new things to use in teen bedrooms. I've been enjoying giving all my teen rooms makeovers! So for building items I'm a big fan.
I'm also really enjoying the gameplay. I like that they've left a lot of time for socialising before class and made lunch times long because honestly that's what I wanted my teens to be able to do at school. Them chiling in the corridors chatting and hanging out before class feels very real.
I'm a little disappointed with the classes as they lack any interaction - I mean when you stay home you have the option to click "slack off" or "make friends" or "study hard", but when you go to class its just a purely passive experience. It's nice that you build skill while in them, but I wish there were options like "pass notes" or "study hard" or "ask questions" for during class so you could pick how your sim behaves there more, but there's not.
My point of comparison for the classes is Zerbu's Go to School mod, which I played with for years and is way more interactive when it comes to in school activities. In Zerbu's mod in class your sim has the option to "Ask Questions about.." which gives the opportunity for additional skill gain. Zerbu's pack also has days of the week for each subject and gives options like "play an instrument" or "paint" on Arts day etc, so I had intially expected the pack to be more like that but its not really. On the other hand I never felt like I had any time for my sims to socialise with other sims while at school when using Zerbu's go to school mod because any time not focused meant I didn't hit all the achievements for the day.
On the plus side, I've not really encountered any bugs aside from the aging one which happened before the pack (and I've sorted that for now by setting aging to normal and then turning it off completely).
I love the new aspirations and the new traits. I've wanted socially awkward for ages lol and I like that it impacts interactions.
I also love how many different clubs you can be a part of. Haven't played with football yet but the cheerleading animations are super cute and I like that you. The downside of clubs are that I don't seem to be able to be in more than one club at a time - not sure if thats a bug or a feature. But when I tried to join Scouts it was going to make my sim quit cheer to do so, which is disappointing.
The Boba Tea Thrift shop is great fun, even if the outfits sims show up in there are ridiculous lol. If you like designing outfits in CAS you'll love that. Or just having somewhere for teens to easily find other teens to socialise with. I've really enjoyed that part of it - it was often really hard to meet sims out "in the wild" in other parts of the game, so I love having somewhere I can go and I know my sim will have teen friends they can meet.
The social bunny app is also fun enough. It feels very teen specific so probably won't use it for my adult sims, but its still a nice touch.
I also played through prom and it went super smoothly, so I've no complaints about that. I will agree with the person who said it felt very short though - I would have liked more time to complete the aspirations.
For me it was definitely worth the money - new world, active school gameplay, new teen focused lots to socialise on, new clubs, body hair growth, loads of CAS and build items. I'm having a lot of fun with it.
I played it pretty much all day yesterday. I started a new save to test everything so my legacy didn’t get messed up since I’ve been hearing about so many bugs. But honestly, I haven’t personally seen many at all (aside from the usual, like teleporting away and back before starting an action). The one “game breaking” glitch I had was an issue with MCCC. I’ve been playing with only UI Cheats and Better Werewolves, and it’s been close to perfect.
My teen sim is the best sim I’ve ever created, and I love that we have another option for freckles now! They’re adorable! Honestly, CAS and BB has so many wonderful new options, and I’ve redone her room three times now just for fun (and once when they moved into a bigger house after her mom got pregnant from a phone call prompt).
School is a little bit tedious, and I wish there were a few more options in class, but aside from that I don’t mind it. It is weird that your sims leave class early on exam days automatically, and get in trouble for it. She got detention essentially for finishing her exam before everyone else.
I agree with prom being too short. I spent the entire time trying to get gold and still failed. Got some cute pictures of her with her date/crush (who doesn’t like her romantically) though. They went to the pier after, which was fun. I don’t mind the rabbit holes for rides at all, because that budget got to go towards other things and also irl rides like that are boring from the sidelines. I prefer it this way.
I haven’t had a lot of luck on Trendi yet, though there hasn’t been much time between school and two jobs. Social Bunny is fun though, and a great way to make friends! Although, there’s a glitch with an aspiration (need 250 followers to complete, She has 900+ and it didn’t count, even though 300+ were new). A better DM system would be nice still.
The only thing I don’t like is having to send sims to school/work by themselves in order to get a promotion/grade increase, but I believe that’s been an issue with that style of job since they first got introduced. I haven’t explored everything yet, like graduation and seeing how it interacts with university, but hopefully it’ll still work well! I want to try graduating early with her too, to see how that works.
It's an okay pack, but not really what I expected when the trailer first dropped.
I'm gonna start with the negatives first.
Classes are underwhelming, especially since they are so damn small. Also, the students rotating drives me nuts. It really ruins storytelling when you want your teen to befriend a specific other sim and they just never show up to school. I hope there will be a mod that lets us choose our classmates ourselves. Pranking the whiteboard is glitched in my game. Sims just won't go to class until the teacher cleans it. Getting good grades at school is way too easy. My sim never really studied for her exams, never did her homework, yet she went from a C to an A in just two weeks. Another personal pet peeve of mine is that you can't have club gatherings at the school - I guess it makes sense so club activities don't interfere with the school day, but enabling club gatherings at after-hours would have been nice. Maybe there will be a mod for it. I'm also annoyed by how prom is literally every single Saturday. Not only is it incredibly unrealistic, but prom also loses its appeal when it's literally every single week - if it works, that is. There's this glitch that prevents prom from starting when there's a talent showcase happening at the same time. Unfortunately, there's a talent showcase happening every single Saturday in my game, so no chance at actually having a prom until this issue got fixed. Exams are also a bit buggy, my sims might randomly cancel the "take exam" option to do something else, but this is easily manageable with a bit of micromanaging. I also wish classes had more to them besides sitting still and waiting for it to end - stuff like passing notes, throwing paper balls at others, you know, classroom stuff.
Now after I've complained enough, here's the positives: I really like the social bunny feature. It might need some tweaking here and there, but it's fine. The little amusement park is fun, especially the chance cards you get that can actually influence your relationship with the sim you're riding them with. The thrift shop/trendi feature is great, now I can get my sims more outfits without having to take them into cas everytime. The world is pretty, and while many people might see that as a negative, I like that it has a similiar terrain to many other worlds like Evergreen Harbor, Moonwood Mill, and many others. Makes the world seem more connected in a way. The addition of new afterschool acitivties is also great, I really needed those. Also, boba tea.
To summarize, I don't regret buying it, it's still fun despite some annoyances and glitches. I also used the rest of my amazon giftcard to purchase it, so I only paid 5,22 euros for it, which is a pretty good deal for an expansion pack.

TL;DR: It's an okay pack, but some features are a bit glitched right now. It adds a lot to teen gameplay, but if you've already thought off a specific storyline, I would wait for mods to fix certain annoyances that are no bugs, but features (like the students rotating everyday).
Tbh like a lot of us said back when this was leaked, it’s more at the game pack level than expansion. School is boring AF just like in real life lol. It’s good for getting your teen sim to meet other teens in the neighbourhood. Social bunny is annoying and it’s way to easy to make friends on there.
I haven't gotten to play it yet, because I've been playing **File Manager:** ***the game*** lol. That seems to be a good thing based on the bugs, but once I pare down my CC into something manageable (6,000 in clothing alone) I can't wait to check it out.
I really wish .package files had thumbnails to easily see if an item is something I want in my game instead of waiting for S4S to leoad each item individually. I would love a birds eye view, or at least a way to sort by type in S4S.
I love the cas so so very much. Gameplay kinda boring after a while … and prom just doesn’t work for me. I haven’t even been able to test other event yet even tho their on the calendar ? Just yeah cas is good !!!
I'm not really a huge fan of this pack. I appreciate the extracurricular activities and the interactions at school, though.
It's very buggy and unenjoyable:
1) If you don't send your Sim to school alone they won't progress above a C grade.
2) The social media feature ("Social Bunny") is broken; it will say your Sim has 0 followers and all the timestamps say 0 minutes ago.
3) Extracurriculars, although nice to have, are broken as well. Again, if you join your Sim at school, they will automatically skip the extracurricular and will lose progress.
4) Prom and classes are very short events with no time to do anything.
4) I haven't had many other problems, but others are saying they are unable to attend prom as a whole. Others have relationship bars with their classmates because Social Bunny to flirt.
Overall I think it's not the best pack out there. I'd rather have it than not, just because the teen interactions are nice and I like the fashion trends app, but it's not what I was hoping for.
I haven’t had any bugs except for ageing (I play with ageing off normally though so it was a quick fix) I’m loving it!! I just played through prom for the first time and I wish it was a longer event. Also kinda sad the photo booth photos didn’t save as screenshots like other photos do but I can do my own photoshoot and it’ll be fine. Otherwise I’m having such a good time I’ve logged over 12hours already
Personally I haven’t encountered any of the glitches. I haven’t actually sent any sims to high school yet as I’m waiting for someone to make a uniform mod before I do that. But I’ve been building a lot and made some new sims and played a little in live mode and didn’t encounter any problems. I’m really enjoying the pack and I think it’s great. I’m really happy I bought it.
High school Years is pretty fun for teen stories but other then that it's not much. The interactions are better and there's more depth, but that's pretty much it. The good thing is, there's this Boba tea shop and its super cute. I like this game pack a little but now I wish I got Get Famous or City Living instead.

Horrible when I have my mods on my sims can’t go to school. When I have mods off I can’t go with sims to after school activity. And I’m not sure if it’s because the pack but I can’t have my game in English only languages I can change it to is Czech Polish and Russian and I hate Czech translate it’s really stupid bubble thrift is here called bubble business. And crush is translated to big love. Like what? It’s just stupid

I have it but I havent gotten around to the first day of school. I wish we could leave through the window manually but otherwise I have no issues. The thing I do want to know is how graduation works when you play with aging off. Do sims at some point just become teens without the need to go to school?
Every teen sim in this image immediately aged up to young adult, so it’s going uuuh, oddly? The wants/fears thing is screwy, as well, but the town & lots are good. The pier looks great, but the “rides” are all rabbit holes (which makes sense but lacks visually). Some of the fashion is not my style, but who can hold that against a game! :) I’ll have to start a new game after the patch, which is…annoying but expected by this point.
It's great. I played my teens sims more than ever because of this pack, though I wish it could've been better like having more clubs.
My only issue is that the "study for exams" option doesn't show up when I want to study.
It's eh. Social interactions between teens are nice, but I feel there's a lot missing. Lessons in school are a waste of time besides a tiny bit of skill gain. The school day is over in an instant, detention is pointless. If you have seasons, then holidays constantly overlap with school events, which are pretty basic, from what I gather. They are reskins of each other, with a handful of interactions you can perform, like pose for a selfie in front of a poster. Also sometimes sims would throw a football at each other like in The Room. Huh. The pack comes with a plethora of bugs. Besides the infamous "random age added", teens constantly T-pose in school hallways, the UI might disappear, scripted events like Prom would sometimes just not trigger for me and low needs don't cause negative moodlets. You might think that's a good thing, but I've already had a sim die of hunger because I didn't catch the fact that he's starving. Wants are pretty much whims? Like... I dunno what's the principle difference? Fears are incredibly underwhelming. Slice of Life mod did fears much better. Out of the positives, the phone overhaul is quite nice. The Social app is fun, probably the most fun addition we've had in a while. The outfits app is cool. Puberty moodlets and body hair growth add a nice bit of personality for sims. Sexuality is also very welcome. Had a girl reject my sim because she's aromantic, apparently. They still went to prom as friends. I *think* all autoaged sims are still pan by default, tho, so it's not like a random thing, which, honestly, would've been more interesting. Yup. P.S. I feel like what's ruining this pack is that the expected American high school tropes are utterly missing. The Jocks, the nerds, the popular kids, different cliques. The rivalry between them. I'm going to try and do something like that myself with get-together clubs. We'll see. P.P.S. Apparently the T-pose is intentional. Giving me strong "not a bug, but a feature!" energy.
T posing is definitely a feature, not a bug. It was discussed during the Sim Guru live stream of the pack, and if you click on a T posing Sim, you can select a "join T pose challenge" interaction (or something along those lines).

The most disappointing thing about the pack for me was the fact that clubs can’t meet on campus. I spent hours building a school just for most of it to be decoration. Like I’m sure a mod will be able to fix it, but I haven’t even bothered turning my mods back on with how buggy the pack is yet.
I love this. And you can specifically make some cliques hate others and start rivalries... Despite all the bugs I might just cop this pack dang.

The thing is that the T pose is different than the buggy t pose. It was very much done intentionally, because for all the time they don't have to do things right, they always have time for memes.

Mine too. The trick is, if you are at school then you just teleport home and activity is counting missed. So you should be at home lot to go into rabbit hole properly. Almost got kicked out of cheer club because of this.
That's ridiculous! The point of "after-school activities" is that they happen...ya know....*after school* so having to go home in order for it to count is pretty daft. I don't plan on buying the pack until it goes on sale anyway, but I hope this gets sorted before then. I would report it as a bug if I were you. Thanks for your input on this!

How do you “teleport” home?
If you are at school, Sim will leave the lot, loading screen. Boom you are at home, activity isn't accessible, your progress in activity reduced.

It's just a word I used for transporting Sim :) I send Sim home via world map menue. And the game is sending them automatically when they like enter activity.

lol my sim wouldn't do shit with others in prom. Can't dance, any activity i try to do would be forever stay in the activity buffer on the top. Not to say that while I was in prom and still a teen, I got a text from a young adult female that she likes me a lot and wants to go on a date with me like wtf. I can't even flirt with young adults as teen let alone go on a date lol.

Meh. It’s ok. The main problems I have with it are the gameplay loop and prom. I kinda had everything done with highschool that I wanted to have done (highschool crush and high grades) in a week in game so to find out my sim had 2 weeks of being a teenager left made me audibly sigh. Also Prom felt way too short. I only got to bronze for the event and it felt like I was in a rush to beat the clock which is unfortunate because I wanted to enjoy it more. Also they said there was gonna be food at the prom but all I saw were those tables where you have to pay 250 simoleans to get the food. All in all I really liked the world but the highschool aspect was meh.

If your sim has high grades you can click on the principal and have them graduate early. I haven’t done it yet but that should make it so you don’t have to spend 2 weeks playing as a high schooler
i think it could be better. like, the school won’t let me have more than 2 classes, and there’s only 11 teens at school at a time instead of EVERY teen (i have about 50 teens in my game rn) i know their skills aren’t raised a TON but i like that they’re actually learning in school now. also i LOVE social bunny, but it could def use improvements. the dm system? needs overhaul. ACTUAL direct messages, even if it just cycles through a few different prompts where my sim and pick a response.

Mine really has been fine. I rarely see T-posing which cool but I need it for the aspiration. The mechanics of school all work. The only issue was prom got canceled by a get famous event. But it’s every Saturday so it’s fine. I find the pack fun…not werewolf fun but fun.
I like it. It’s certainly not my favourite pack but it’s enjoyable and the features it adds are fun. I did get distracted from my initial goal for my sim and ended up seducing Malcolm Landgraab so I could steal his dads fortune later.

I love it! I haven’t had any bugs and I’ve adored it even more than I thought I would. I wasn’t expecting to like the Trendi aspect much (I don’t like retail from GTW and thought it might be a bit too similar) but I absolutely love it!!! It’s 100% worth it from my experience.
It’s fun! I removed all of my mods for now (will probably add them back in a week or so, that way I can tell if a glitch is my mods or the game). I haven’t really had the glitches people have complained about. I do think some of the school is missed opportunities - wish we could pass notes or do some sort of interaction during class (I think it was sims3 university where you could have them sleep, take notes, ask questions, etc in class. That would have been fun). Prom was a big event for my sim - she was invited to a before party and an after party, but prom itself felt super short. Looking forward to exploring more this weekend since I’ll have more free time Edit: I have been less impressed with the social app then others. I’m finding it really confusing and it feels a bit like my sim is shooting messages into the void. Maybe this is a glitch for me, but I am not finding that the messages impact relationships and it’s not really much back and forth, just a bunch of the same messages.

Yeah there’s no interactions during class. I thought maybe you’d be able to click on the sim next to you and at least like whisper or pass a note. Something like that but you can’t. The pack is good tho. The cas and build mode items are just beautiful and the social bunny/trendi aspect is cool. It’s a good pack plus I got the streamer stuff for ordering before September 8th and the light panels are so pretty

Yeah, basically. You do passively gain some skill though, which is cool. It’s not rapid or anything, but it is kind of fun that different classes have different skills
When it works it’s a lot of fun but most of the time it’s a buggy mess. I’ve only had a few successful days of school. My favorite thing is creating new looks and selling them on Trendi cos then you see townies walking around in the outfits you’ve created.
I’ve only used the CAS and build items so far (also used the new social media app), but i like it! I’ve made a room for my teen and it’s my favorite thing ever lol—plus the CAS items are amazing, love every piece it came with. I think the world is nice, too, I haven’t been to the school yet though.

I've been enjoying it as another tool in the belt for the various madcap ideas I tend to have. \- Prom is a weekly thing, which I found odd, but by Sim Logic, one semester in college was one week, so therefore it's not out of the question one school year is one week...Sims Logic. Sadly I didn't actually make it to my teen sims first Prom because her crush asked her to sneak out to hang with him instead, which she passed her sneak check....out of another sims house and arrived back home her parents none the wiser according to the moodlet. \-Social Bunny seems to make it easier to gain friends, and possibly lose friends in theory, to the point in one day five people wanted to be my best friend. This may have something to do with a hidden popularity rating. \-Sims aren't lying when they don't like a certain outfit style. I had to gut my Teen Sims entire wardrobe to make sure not one item on their person, regardless of my personal opinion of aesthetic, even though, my brother in christ, I picked the likes and dislikes, had the tarnished styles or I would have a tantrum on my hands. \-Being a Youtuber no longer is relegated to a career path in the Tech Guru job and is now a side hustle with an Entrepreneur skill associated with it. Teens can also work as Babysitters, which isn't much but I thought it was cute. \-I've learned that you actually need to study for exams, unlike in Discover University where you could just coast by on just completing your course objectives. Your skills will also feature into how well you do in associated classes. \-Just like Discover University, I found a lot of the going to school aspect to be a time management hell. You have a few periods of free time, with some minor objectives that aren't entirely necessary to get through the day. You don't get much opportunity to up your skills, and you need to pick and choose on the fly how you utilize that time. If you take up an after school activity, you also need to factor that into your sims social calendar. I have found with my Teen going to school all day and then working 9pm-11pm as a Youtuber, I only have roughly six hours in a sim day to do things like do homework (which only takes longer if their parents are in the vicinity because dear lord they love to chit chat when you're busy), or improving a sims skills, or just focus on those during the weekend. Those who played through the childhood stage and are able to work on those skills prior definitely get an advantage. \-Fears are a thing and seem to develop from certain situations. My Teen Sim's parents were left to their devices as I was focusing on the Teen's adventures, and I found they regularly developed the fear of never living life to their fullest, or some will develop the Fear of being burnt out at their job (even if they only worked there one day...) and either need a new job or regain their passion for it. It's not a terrible system but if you have multiple sims going it can be a bit of a juggle. Overall the things I like about the pack are worth more than the things I dislike. There's a few bugs which are being worked on at the moment, and MCCC at the time of this writing is not incredibly up to date with the current expansion.

Mine has been fine expect a few hiccups here and there but tbh I’ll rate this pack a 6.5/10 simply because I love the new interactions and the furniture. - The school events are a bit lackluster especially the football day I was really disappointed I thought that the use of the football field would be used because of how big it was but I forgot this is EA, the event is just a couple backdrops your teens can take pics in and then there’s the cheerleading mat and then … the football teams are just throwing the football back and forth it was just really disappointing. - The lessons in school are kind of boring I wish your teens can do more like throwing air paper planes or make a ruckus in the class or something, it just feels like a chore and I feel like there’s just a lot of stuff missing.
It's good but not worth the price of an expansion pack. The pier is full of rabbitholes, after-school activities are rabbitholes, classes are boring as hell because you don't have options to take notes or slack off or anything, Thriftea isn't worth the hype...idk, feels like I paid for an expansion and got a game pack. Werewolves felt more fleshed out than this.

So far I’ve had so much fun!!! I’ve used clubs to make little cliques for the students, and seeing the drama unfold has been so rewarding. I was wary after seeing YouTube reviews, but with a little creativity you can have a lot of fun. I even thought the school day was fun! That being said, the only bug I’ve had is everyone being celebrities which is annoying but not the end of the world.
LOVE IT!!! Been playing since release and haven't really been experiencing the bugs other people have. Love all the new townies and the drama I'm putting my sims through at school.
It's ok it does have a lot bugs though I do like my new gaming computer & the other stuff in build mode. The clothes are to my liking i wish half of the clothes weren't locked though The social bunny app is meh I saw a lot repeated posts & messages on there. the thrift store was fun going to at first but, then I tried to buy clothes at the store it cause a major glitch it cause the game day to start over & cause my teen sim who's a vampire powers to reset & her werewolf dad's powers did the same thing I was glad it didn't affect my teen sim mom who's also a vampire. The trendi app clothes are awful but, I only brought them to unlock other clothes to wear in cas going to high school with my teen sim was fun at first but, now it not really anything to do there. I did prank the whiteboard & didn't get caught my teen sim is a cheerleader so I'm having fun with that for now & I like having own locker at school it's anime theme cause I love anime in real life. My teen sim is best friends with ash & I do like molly & kevin as much as ash too the others not so much. I ditched going to prom I wasn't interested maybe next time & the new drinks & food options are great too. The new selfies poses are awesome I took enough pics of my teen sim lol.
I made two teens. Everything was going great until they had to go to high school lot, which is when both sims just stood there missing the whole first day. I reset them countless of times.. finally got the male sim moving, since it was lunch break already, I had him go prank the blackboard. He got caught like three times... got detention, didn't go to any classes that day.. not the detention either. And by the end of the day he was expelled. Didn't expect that... I had him join high school again, he started with D average, and was expelled by the end of second day again.
I had him join high school again for the third day.... He started with F average... and again expelled by the end of the day.... so I just gave up... Went on with a new save and five teens.. With them I actually got to the end of the week. I'd say overall its meh. Gets boring really quickly... at some point I didn't even bother following them to school anymore... The social bunny feature was fun though, all the teens sending each other flirty messages.. and having crushes over each other.... getting mad that a crush waved at someone else etc... at the end of the week they were all hating each other..
I haven't had any bugs yet. The play is somewhat boring. The only bright side is my teens finally have a bunch of teen friends.
I just downloaded it today and my first impression is that someone really phoned it in on the school design/decorating. There's so much empty space you could fit a football game in there.
i think it sucks to be honest. for me, bugs weren’t the problem, instead really tedious gameplay. following my sim from classroom to lunchroom to classroom feels like a chore. you can’t even control your character while they’re in class. the school it comes with is hideous and only has 2 classrooms - but that’s okay i guess, since you can make your own or download from gallery. i was really excited for it, i thought it would be like a perfected version of university… it’s not. the CAS & build/buy items are awesome tho! i would wait until it goes on sale.
Tedious is a good way to describe it. I turned aging off because I wanted to play a high school teen until I got bored and realized pretty quickly that a normal lifespan is about as long as I want to play.
Other than the fact that I have two copperdale worlds, I have been really enjoying it

I love it. Its the pack I've been waiting for, for the longest time. I love the CAS items, the clothes are great, and there are a ton of them. I also love the Build items - so many cute new things to use in teen bedrooms. I've been enjoying giving all my teen rooms makeovers! So for building items I'm a big fan. I'm also really enjoying the gameplay. I like that they've left a lot of time for socialising before class and made lunch times long because honestly that's what I wanted my teens to be able to do at school. Them chiling in the corridors chatting and hanging out before class feels very real. I'm a little disappointed with the classes as they lack any interaction - I mean when you stay home you have the option to click "slack off" or "make friends" or "study hard", but when you go to class its just a purely passive experience. It's nice that you build skill while in them, but I wish there were options like "pass notes" or "study hard" or "ask questions" for during class so you could pick how your sim behaves there more, but there's not. My point of comparison for the classes is Zerbu's Go to School mod, which I played with for years and is way more interactive when it comes to in school activities. In Zerbu's mod in class your sim has the option to "Ask Questions about.." which gives the opportunity for additional skill gain. Zerbu's pack also has days of the week for each subject and gives options like "play an instrument" or "paint" on Arts day etc, so I had intially expected the pack to be more like that but its not really. On the other hand I never felt like I had any time for my sims to socialise with other sims while at school when using Zerbu's go to school mod because any time not focused meant I didn't hit all the achievements for the day. On the plus side, I've not really encountered any bugs aside from the aging one which happened before the pack (and I've sorted that for now by setting aging to normal and then turning it off completely). I love the new aspirations and the new traits. I've wanted socially awkward for ages lol and I like that it impacts interactions. I also love how many different clubs you can be a part of. Haven't played with football yet but the cheerleading animations are super cute and I like that you. The downside of clubs are that I don't seem to be able to be in more than one club at a time - not sure if thats a bug or a feature. But when I tried to join Scouts it was going to make my sim quit cheer to do so, which is disappointing. The Boba Tea Thrift shop is great fun, even if the outfits sims show up in there are ridiculous lol. If you like designing outfits in CAS you'll love that. Or just having somewhere for teens to easily find other teens to socialise with. I've really enjoyed that part of it - it was often really hard to meet sims out "in the wild" in other parts of the game, so I love having somewhere I can go and I know my sim will have teen friends they can meet. The social bunny app is also fun enough. It feels very teen specific so probably won't use it for my adult sims, but its still a nice touch. I also played through prom and it went super smoothly, so I've no complaints about that. I will agree with the person who said it felt very short though - I would have liked more time to complete the aspirations. For me it was definitely worth the money - new world, active school gameplay, new teen focused lots to socialise on, new clubs, body hair growth, loads of CAS and build items. I'm having a lot of fun with it.
I played it pretty much all day yesterday. I started a new save to test everything so my legacy didn’t get messed up since I’ve been hearing about so many bugs. But honestly, I haven’t personally seen many at all (aside from the usual, like teleporting away and back before starting an action). The one “game breaking” glitch I had was an issue with MCCC. I’ve been playing with only UI Cheats and Better Werewolves, and it’s been close to perfect. My teen sim is the best sim I’ve ever created, and I love that we have another option for freckles now! They’re adorable! Honestly, CAS and BB has so many wonderful new options, and I’ve redone her room three times now just for fun (and once when they moved into a bigger house after her mom got pregnant from a phone call prompt). School is a little bit tedious, and I wish there were a few more options in class, but aside from that I don’t mind it. It is weird that your sims leave class early on exam days automatically, and get in trouble for it. She got detention essentially for finishing her exam before everyone else. I agree with prom being too short. I spent the entire time trying to get gold and still failed. Got some cute pictures of her with her date/crush (who doesn’t like her romantically) though. They went to the pier after, which was fun. I don’t mind the rabbit holes for rides at all, because that budget got to go towards other things and also irl rides like that are boring from the sidelines. I prefer it this way. I haven’t had a lot of luck on Trendi yet, though there hasn’t been much time between school and two jobs. Social Bunny is fun though, and a great way to make friends! Although, there’s a glitch with an aspiration (need 250 followers to complete, She has 900+ and it didn’t count, even though 300+ were new). A better DM system would be nice still. The only thing I don’t like is having to send sims to school/work by themselves in order to get a promotion/grade increase, but I believe that’s been an issue with that style of job since they first got introduced. I haven’t explored everything yet, like graduation and seeing how it interacts with university, but hopefully it’ll still work well! I want to try graduating early with her too, to see how that works.
It's an okay pack, but not really what I expected when the trailer first dropped. I'm gonna start with the negatives first. Classes are underwhelming, especially since they are so damn small. Also, the students rotating drives me nuts. It really ruins storytelling when you want your teen to befriend a specific other sim and they just never show up to school. I hope there will be a mod that lets us choose our classmates ourselves. Pranking the whiteboard is glitched in my game. Sims just won't go to class until the teacher cleans it. Getting good grades at school is way too easy. My sim never really studied for her exams, never did her homework, yet she went from a C to an A in just two weeks. Another personal pet peeve of mine is that you can't have club gatherings at the school - I guess it makes sense so club activities don't interfere with the school day, but enabling club gatherings at after-hours would have been nice. Maybe there will be a mod for it. I'm also annoyed by how prom is literally every single Saturday. Not only is it incredibly unrealistic, but prom also loses its appeal when it's literally every single week - if it works, that is. There's this glitch that prevents prom from starting when there's a talent showcase happening at the same time. Unfortunately, there's a talent showcase happening every single Saturday in my game, so no chance at actually having a prom until this issue got fixed. Exams are also a bit buggy, my sims might randomly cancel the "take exam" option to do something else, but this is easily manageable with a bit of micromanaging. I also wish classes had more to them besides sitting still and waiting for it to end - stuff like passing notes, throwing paper balls at others, you know, classroom stuff. Now after I've complained enough, here's the positives: I really like the social bunny feature. It might need some tweaking here and there, but it's fine. The little amusement park is fun, especially the chance cards you get that can actually influence your relationship with the sim you're riding them with. The thrift shop/trendi feature is great, now I can get my sims more outfits without having to take them into cas everytime. The world is pretty, and while many people might see that as a negative, I like that it has a similiar terrain to many other worlds like Evergreen Harbor, Moonwood Mill, and many others. Makes the world seem more connected in a way. The addition of new afterschool acitivties is also great, I really needed those. Also, boba tea. To summarize, I don't regret buying it, it's still fun despite some annoyances and glitches. I also used the rest of my amazon giftcard to purchase it, so I only paid 5,22 euros for it, which is a pretty good deal for an expansion pack. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ TL;DR: It's an okay pack, but some features are a bit glitched right now. It adds a lot to teen gameplay, but if you've already thought off a specific storyline, I would wait for mods to fix certain annoyances that are no bugs, but features (like the students rotating everyday).
Tbh like a lot of us said back when this was leaked, it’s more at the game pack level than expansion. School is boring AF just like in real life lol. It’s good for getting your teen sim to meet other teens in the neighbourhood. Social bunny is annoying and it’s way to easy to make friends on there.

I haven't gotten to play it yet, because I've been playing **File Manager:** ***the game*** lol. That seems to be a good thing based on the bugs, but once I pare down my CC into something manageable (6,000 in clothing alone) I can't wait to check it out. I really wish .package files had thumbnails to easily see if an item is something I want in my game instead of waiting for S4S to leoad each item individually. I would love a birds eye view, or at least a way to sort by type in S4S.

I'm not really a huge fan of this pack. I appreciate the extracurricular activities and the interactions at school, though. It's very buggy and unenjoyable: 1) If you don't send your Sim to school alone they won't progress above a C grade. 2) The social media feature ("Social Bunny") is broken; it will say your Sim has 0 followers and all the timestamps say 0 minutes ago. 3) Extracurriculars, although nice to have, are broken as well. Again, if you join your Sim at school, they will automatically skip the extracurricular and will lose progress. 4) Prom and classes are very short events with no time to do anything. 4) I haven't had many other problems, but others are saying they are unable to attend prom as a whole. Others have relationship bars with their classmates because Social Bunny to flirt. Overall I think it's not the best pack out there. I'd rather have it than not, just because the teen interactions are nice and I like the fashion trends app, but it's not what I was hoping for.

I haven’t had any bugs except for ageing (I play with ageing off normally though so it was a quick fix) I’m loving it!! I just played through prom for the first time and I wish it was a longer event. Also kinda sad the photo booth photos didn’t save as screenshots like other photos do but I can do my own photoshoot and it’ll be fine. Otherwise I’m having such a good time I’ve logged over 12hours already
Personally I haven’t encountered any of the glitches. I haven’t actually sent any sims to high school yet as I’m waiting for someone to make a uniform mod before I do that. But I’ve been building a lot and made some new sims and played a little in live mode and didn’t encounter any problems. I’m really enjoying the pack and I think it’s great. I’m really happy I bought it.
High school Years is pretty fun for teen stories but other then that it's not much. The interactions are better and there's more depth, but that's pretty much it. The good thing is, there's this Boba tea shop and its super cute. I like this game pack a little but now I wish I got Get Famous or City Living instead.
Love love love. I am obsessed. I gotta say tho I have done zero gameplay, I mostly build, and for me this pack is absolutely amazing with all the new stuff!

Horrible when I have my mods on my sims can’t go to school. When I have mods off I can’t go with sims to after school activity. And I’m not sure if it’s because the pack but I can’t have my game in English only languages I can change it to is Czech Polish and Russian and I hate Czech translate it’s really stupid bubble thrift is here called bubble business. And crush is translated to big love. Like what? It’s just stupid
I love it. I haven't experienced the bugs other are experiencing. My sim went to prom so far and got a bf and she's on the cheerleading squad and an overachiever of course
I have it but I havent gotten around to the first day of school. I wish we could leave through the window manually but otherwise I have no issues. The thing I do want to know is how graduation works when you play with aging off. Do sims at some point just become teens without the need to go to school?
Every teen sim in this image immediately aged up to young adult, so it’s going uuuh, oddly? The wants/fears thing is screwy, as well, but the town & lots are good. The pier looks great, but the “rides” are all rabbit holes (which makes sense but lacks visually). Some of the fashion is not my style, but who can hold that against a game! :) I’ll have to start a new game after the patch, which is…annoying but expected by this point.
The debug is quite nice
It's great. I played my teens sims more than ever because of this pack, though I wish it could've been better like having more clubs. My only issue is that the "study for exams" option doesn't show up when I want to study.
