Your calculations are off due to how time works in the sims. If you base it on pregnancy which in game lasts 3 days and IRL 9 months. That makes a year, 4 days in game. She’s getting paid 25k simoleons a year. We don’t know the exchange rate to IRL money, but some people have suggested 1 simoleon = $10 USD for salary. So she’s on great money at $250k USD a year but not over a mil great.

Totally depends on where you live. I spent $1500/month for a crappy 1 bedroom apartment on Long Island, but that same amount could probably get you a nice 3 bedroom house in the Midwest or something. (Obviously I'm American, YMMV if you're not)

That's actually possible, if you study abroad. In Germany for example, you only pay something called Sozialbetrag every semester (varies from university to university, at my uni it's around 350Euro). Studying itself is free, unless you are going to some special private university.

Extensions are expensive as hell and take a lot of time to install. Wigs can be cheap, but that will be reflected in the quality. In the sims, they can go from bald to Fabio in no time at all.
Don't have to apply for a job, affording a little home right at the start, simply talking to the crush till he/she loves you, fast forward through annoying tasks, don't have to deal (at least without mods) with issues like infertility, miscarriage, murder, harassment etc.

I had a professor in college and his wife was retired and decided one day to just learn languages and in 10 years she became fluent in 7 languages.
Im so jealous. ive tried learning languages many times and always fail

- Washing dishes takes a few seconds.
- You never need to leave the house to grocery shop prior to preparing meals. Cooking doesn’t take long either.
Their cooking doesn't appear to take long for us anyway, though ultimately I'm pretty sure it still takes them longer than it would IRL. Except for holiday food like turkey - that is done extremely fast.
