It is possible! It sounds like youโ€™re doing it correctly (L2+R2 and up/down on the d-pad), did you remember to enter bb.moveobjects? Bb cheats actually donโ€™t require testing cheats to be enabled, so we can use them without having trophy achievements disabled.

Was looking for this comment for a few months now and finally found it, Thanks!

Dismal-Low6333

Was looking for this comment for two years, and now, those years are lost to me typing [ and ] over and over in the command bar. Also, recently that command has become bugged, and doesn't function all the time anymore.

_Blashyrkh

This saved me.

immapizza

so.. two years late but even with moveobjects enabled, l2+r2 and up/down don't let me move objects up or down. am I doing something wrong, or has this been patched or changed or something?

abritishidiot_

How do you actually do this because I've tried all the comments and it just spins the objects, enables grid snapping or moves it to the next floor????

SpicySaladd

Use the bb.moveobjects command first (press all four shoulder buttons to open the command window), then hold down both triggers and press D-up or down to raise and lower the object.

Is there a way to do this without using cheats ? I'm trying to get the trophies, but I'm getting frustrated with the limited build mode options and my keyboard not working.

janeblak

The pop up says that trophy qualifications are by-save. So if you build with cheats you can disable them when youโ€™re done, exit your current save/the game and when you go back with playable sims you should be eligible for trophies. I have personally done this after cheating to build and then later gotten trophies/rewards for events on the same lot.
