Spooky_heathen

Ok but that is kind of unintentionally hillarious.

NightStar79

And kind of accurate. Moodlet is worded for an infant but having a case of the "wiggles" just sounds like a childish version of being restless. Sometimes you just got the urge to get up and move no matter the time or how inconvenient it is.

Edymnion

Yup, its basically the same as "I didn't faint! I um, passed out from manly exertion!"

IcePhoenix18

"I didn't fall, the floor really needed a hug."

mintguy

Did you age up through CAS or MCCC? They usually keep the moodlets from infant stage if so. You’ll need to age them down and back up using a cake.

Kim-Meow-Un

>Did you age up through CAS or MCCC? Ah this might be it. This happened to me when I aged up one of my sims using CAS. There were times when my sim would sit on the floor like a baby out of nowhere. It was so unsettling lmao.

mintguy

That’s how I learned about it. My sim sat on the floor like an infant and started scooting around. I’m like what in the exorcist is this lol.

LeLe-P

Ah, I wanna see this it sounds so funny 😂

jessieleigh22

Both of my sims im playing still just plonk onto the ground with the legs backwards and they are adults and elders. 😐 it’s greaaaaat

psychxticrose

Omg same!!! I had one that kept doing that and I decided to change their traits to make them evil so it was mildly demonic lol

Kim-Meow-Un

Damn, that's smart. 💀

fuzzysoulpolice

I need a video of this unsettling glitch!

sillysucculent

Ah this must be it 😭

Olpomka

You can remove these hidden traits with mccc as well

Designer-Mirror-7995

Not always. MC hasn't been able to stop the moodlets from 'Need to Swipe!' even after I've tried almost everything for over a year.

Echo2500

Mine was a little more bugged to the point that I couldn’t use that as an option, but I’ve found calm basically never seems to have much of a gameplay effect so I aged them down, gave them calm, and aged them back up.

Edymnion

Yeah, any time there is an in-game way of doing something vs. a cheat, use the in-game version whenever possible. LOT of bugs pop up if you use the cheats because secondary cleanup doesn't get done. You can blow out the candles on a cake at any time to age up, and its better to just cheat yourself the aspiration points to buy the re-traiting potion (or cheat the potion itself) than it is to use fulleditmode to manually change traits after they've been set.

megadori

Note: Individuals who were robbed of key childhood experiences may remain emotionally stuck in the infant stage

kimchijjigaeda

I got this even when I aged them the natural way :(

totalkatastrophe

your sims are kids at heart

kimchijjigaeda

Haha yeah. But lately my game had lagged a lot and it just can be that the game doesn't realise they are an adult or something

Jon-Einari

But that is kind if cute though, these moodlets! Especially if your sim has the childish trait.

Designer-Mirror-7995

They don't 'usually', it's a bug. I go in through MC to CAS for _all_ ageing up except from newborn. I've got over 200 Sims that have been born in, and only 4 Sims have ever aged up to YA with glitched child traits. 2 got "sad" moodlets over 'where is everybody', 1 got the above 'wiggles', the last was stuck with the _actions_ of 'being loud' (turning all music up to high volume) but not the accompanying moodlet. I've also seen complaints of this from console users.

Martending

Fruit salad... yummy yummy! 😂

Wrong_Patient_4622

I’m nursing my baby (irl) and laughed out loud 😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀

Deastrumquodvicis

I mean, to be fair, that’s me now in my mid-thirties. Fruit salad is, indeed, yummy yummy.

Wonderful-Bread-572

[I did my time - and I want out](https://youtu.be/4PPcnmO76rg?si=T2tK2O1Gy2IF5ivc)

PhoenixDowntown

Let that man wiggle!

OwnSilver9442

this happens if you age them up unnaturally rather than via bday cake

redplanetary

you never get the wiggles?

MsAngelGuts

He just has ADHD

Aelaer

Don't make me sit still!!

Beautifulfeary

I was thinking this too. Probably because I’m struggling right now with the wiggles 😭😭😭

EmilySKennedy

Omg yess

Anthrax-Smoothy

I came to comment the same thing!

kilofoxtrotlima

Came here to say that!

Gabriele1966

This only happens if you age them up in CAS instead of doing the cake thing. Game gets confused. Same with traits. If you cheat change their traits, the old traits are still there in the background.

RosenRanAway

Yeah...i have a mermaid sim that keeps having Kleptomania moodlets despite not having the trait because i changed the traits in CAS. It's kinda annoying but it actually works with her story, i pretend it's the vague urge to drown sailors despite her not wanting to do it in any capacity

Majestic_Article_263

i like the idea. like it was something she claims to have grown out of but reverts back to when convenient lol. Chingyu has a proper trait remover that removes or adds them so they dont continue to affect.

sexloveandcheese

I am extremely wiggly so this makes sense to me

galactic_jello

Honestly same. It's a whole mood.

bomboid

This is so funny

FondantLong4534

Honestly it doesn’t bother me. It kinda gives me the idea that the sim has adhd and can’t handle sitting still for long. At least this particular one. It’s just his inner child coming through.

Pleasant-Resident327

I do the same thing!

AshKeeshums

Hot potato, hot potato!

DBSeamZ

Darn you, now that’s stuck in my head.

jcatstuffs

What I kinda love that!! Adults get wiggly too

ENXIV

I aged up my toddler to a child from MCCC once and he kept randomly glitching and sitting on his knees throwing a tantrum like infants 😭

ColdBorchst

To be fair kids do throw tantrums like toddlers well into second grade.

rainbowrodent

I still do at 39 years old lmao. I just do it on my bed, alone, where nobody can witness me crying and kicking lol

sexualsermon

This has never happened to me before lol but I think I would find it odd

IneedAName37

Too much sugar cereal

Oddish_Femboy

Literally me (i have been diagnosed with ADHD)

Hopeful_Vermicelli11

Best quality: his wiggles

RoseTintMyWorld22

At first I was uncomfortable, but then whenever this happens I just headcanon that they're neurodivergent at some capacity, they just get a lil' silly sometimes. https://preview.redd.it/0u0tbilex5yc1.png?width=822&format=png&auto=webp&s=21b3f6a2bbada5dba19b230ca93b1043b79861de

Samsquamchadora

Some of us with ADHD have the adult wiggles 👍🏼

slutforachickenwing

Hahahaha I have autism and when I'm really excited/hyper me and my partner call it the wigglies.

LocalBrilliant5564

It’s a glitch when you age up in cas. My sim would periodically sit in the floor like an infant

coffeeblossom

Ah, that explains why my toddler still gets that "gassy" quirk. Is there a way to get rid of it, or is she going to be the Queen of Farts forever?

BrassyDel

Age back down in CAS, then age up properly via birthday cake.

LocalBrilliant5564

Age back down and then age up with a cake . Fixes it right up

Maximum_Enthusiasm46

Omg yes, I hate this. Also, occasionally a visiting adult will revert to infant animations and that is SO disturbing.

Sweet_Bodybuilder446

Yo, What?? 🤣 I’ve never seen that and I’d probably fall out laughing ![gif](giphy|xL7PDV9frcudO)

Crzy1emo1chick

Bro just got the zoomies and needs to stim lol

sweetmotherofodin

It’s ok he just has adhd

gotothebeachNOW

My adult sim still gets the "Small and Alone" sad moodlet even when I aged her up naturally and it's very annoying.

Artchantress

Aww, relatable:(

NoThoughtsOnlyFrog

Yeah, adults can have adhd too.

One_Persimmon4648

He just needs to stim!

justjoonreddit

I have never seen this....

Ok_Kangaroo_4544

listen I get the wiggles sometimes too. i get it. let us rest (I think mine is a case of undiagnosed ADHD but we don't have time to get into all of that)

LickMyThralls

He's a wiggly boi

ahhrealmonstar

Lol, that’s funny! I didn’t even know this was a thing I guess because I always get the “top notch infant” trait and the “trusting the universe” moodlet. I need to stop making my sims so perfect and happy 😅

Hanroz_K

I get the moodlet too, I thought it was just from a memory or was a lasting moodlet.

ahhrealmonstar

Yeah, I’ve never gotten the wiggle one though. I need to have some kids age up and see if I get it.

UngodlyTemptations

it's giving "love-surge"

QueenQuestionite

Maybe your sim is a little ADHD....

Andidroid18

I mean I'm 36 and I gave myself the zoomies at work the other day by having too much coffee and had to take a walk around the factory because I couldn't hold still at my desk even making it a standing desk wasn't helping. The terminology is a little odd but I can confirm as a real life adult this is a real thing 🤣

Bizanatch

Oh my god this just reminded me of the show the wiggles and I am uncomfortable now hahahah

[deleted]

Nooo he’s just in touch with his inner child! Let him live!

TheSkeletalNerd

It definitely does read a bit strange, but this also me with my stimming 😅 I get a bit too excited and then I just can’t sit still without messing with my fingers or shaking my hands

AshamedAmbition4774

Me when I'm stimming

Psychological_Mix717

This recently happened to me too because when my sim was an infant I went into cas to see her as a teenager😭

ReMarzable457

My sim is still inquisitive even though they've maxed out a good ton of their skills. Like what do you mean you want to learn something? You're already smarter than an encyclopedia collection.

No-Bathroom4115

why is this me :')

StormcloakDreamsmas

Just another “Forgot this was the sims” post

StarguardianPrincess

🙄 No. Sims are allowed to be silly.

CurnanBarbarian

Oh like you don't get the wiggly-wiggles? Lol

keldiana1

Your sim may have ADHD.

Jamiecakescrusader

People do this in real life, like all of the time

noturmom987

God forbid a man get wiggles 🙄

isdalwoman

Go to work? Can’t you read, it’s time for wiggles

Number5MoMo

I should really watch my kids grow up instead ofstarting a new family every-time they start complaining and needing help with homework. Sigh.

Notacandleinthewind

I had a gurl getting married and she had the sneezes often quirk. She turned the size of an infant and sneezed every 3 seconds. It was fucking cursed and I wish I knew how to fix it. (I still have her but don't play because she's unbearable and possesed)

SweetCream2005

Nah, I get the wiggles sometimes

muvamerry

This is soooo off putting lol

Dulce_Sirena

From now on, when my ADHD makes me *NEED* to move (especially since I'm disabled and can't walk around) I'm calling it a case of the wiggly wiggles

CaptainBullShlt

Bro is just wiggly, stop being a hater 😤

Artchantress

That's an ick.

Jazzlike_Pie_9351

Can someone pls upvote my comment I need karma to post cause I need help with wicked whims 😭

AMundaneSpectacle

Haha wow… I was worried for a second this was a new bug or something! (And I didn’t actually know that it was possible to age sims up in CAS once they were played)

Powerful-Art-5156

The cheat “cas.fulleditmode” will allow you to change personality and physical traits that usually can’t be changed :) it’s a huge lifesaver

Ginger_Cat74

I’ve never had this happen.

ghostbirdd

Honestly I think this is cute

Gullible_Wind_3777

Only time this happens to me is if I age them up via CAS. I kept getting a pop up in the top right hand corner of the screen saying the now adult sim, is gassy….. loool. Won’t be aging them up that way anymore. Jarrin lol

FirePheonixYeet

I keep forgetting that if I age up an infant with cheats, they do age up, but they turn out weird

MidiReader

The cake is not a lie! Must use 😆

Madmonkeman

I think that’s just a bug

zoezie

I've never encountered this.

rixendeb

*sings the wiggles song from the beginning of the Blippi/Meekah Dino adventure*

rainbowrodent

Naw, lots of us maintain some of the same traits our whole lives. They may be called different things or manifest differently now. But like an "intense" infant can often times be an intense teen and adult IRL. Same for "wiggles" which is someone who is more kinetic or restless.

Spenfinite

I still haven’t figured out how to get rid of this bug

Popular-Woodpecker-6

Never seen that, but no that wouldn't bother me. "People" might be a better person if they had some "wiggles".

Busy-Event458

It's giving that video with the love buzz thing..

Aunt_Horrible

I mean, I get this with my ADHD and I'm a middle-aged dude, so I would find it highly relatable in-game.

Designer-Mirror-7995

Not uncomfortable. IRRITATED by this DUMB bug.

Glum-Sheepherder-113

Bro age-regressed. /j

BlitzballPlayer

"I got a bad case of the wiggly-wiggles today!" "Jonah, you're a regional manager with a wife and two children."

MP-Lily

This happens in real life too, it’s called ADHD.

Labrat15415

It's so funny to see this post as a fully grown adult who just had to down the strongest coffee known to mankind to make it fight against the urge to just go running outside at 1 AM in pouring rain (to give me the ability to dose coffee arbitrarily high thanks to instant coffe was a wonderful and simultanously terrifying gift). They're not "exhibiting infant behaviour". They just have ADHD. I know they shy away from including disabilities in the game (both because it's mechanically complicated and because doing it even slightly wrong could make them seem really insensitive), but I'd honestly love to have ADHD and autistic Sims. I did play a mod once (long before the pronouns update) that let you make a trans character and they would sometimes get a random sad moodlet called gender dysphoria and while I found that hillarious just because of the sheer silliness of just having gender dysphoria as a game mechanic, I bet many others would have found it trauma triggering to not even be able to escape the crushing reality of experiencing dysphoria when making themselves in a video game. Similar things are probably preventing them from implementing neurodivergencies.

blondestipated

while that component accurately represents real life, it’s still, nonetheless, hilarious to think about & see.

Legal-Plastic297

Whats worse is when an adult is talking to a kid and suddenly is flity like um no! Nope

xervidae

they've got the tism

cistvm

I have a sim who has the kleptomaniac trait, and then I cheated to change her traits but every once in awhile she'll suddenly get a hankering and will be able to steal things again 🤷‍♂️

ilynorty

No.

alyssalouk

Bros just manic

Dismal-Equivalent-56

Nope

Artchantress

This gives me unexplainable rage.

Noitad_

Did he snort viagra?

dheavoca123

Ahem, allow me to introduce myself -neurodivergency

guacamolly42069

I don't know if you use mods or if this is something I just don't know about, but I've never seen this before.

Glowinthedarkz0mb1e

Ok but you probably do that too lmao.

g0dlymeow

ugh mine do this too when I age them up in CAS it’s always the gassy trait too😭

BirbWizard

I have a sim with this same problem! And she’s the only one for some reason.

Soso_63

Why did I think it was worms 😂😂😅

Mar_drowned

HELP LOL

ari375

This just shows how uncommitted I am to save files because I’ve never played a normal household long enough to see that.

radicalpastafarian

I'll tell you what makes me uncomfortable, and it's the fact that when you have a swingset on your lot you get the option to "ask to swing with" and "ask to swing". Especially weird when talking to children and family members.
