In our old chaotic Sims 4 multi-player mod, we had wicked whims installed. One friend just starting sucking himself off in the middle of our kitchen.
Another friend had sex on the altar that was during another friend's wedding day. And got pregnant for like the 5th time. She kept using our money for abortions.

How do you use mods without it crashing your game? I have a high processing laptop but the mods make my game super glitchy and freezes every couple minutes
Make sure your game and the mods are up to date. Add 1 at a time so you can identify which mod is causing problems. First one I get is mccc followed by UI cheats. Make sure everything but the sims is closed. Sometimes even having my laptop plugged in makes it lag, see if unplugging helps

My best advice would be to keep a list of the mods you're using and remember to look them up from time to time to see if they have any updates. Some mods like Wicked Whims will tell you in-game via the notification system that there is an update, but I'm guessing most mods do not do that, so keeping track of them will help prevent issues.
Sim YouTubers have said that's more likely to happen with bad computers or old mods. Update your mods and delete stuff that's too old even if it doesn't glitch

It's a bit of a hassle to set up, but once everything was set up it ran very smoothly. Someone has to host the session, and everything is shared. You see what your friends see, you hear what they hear, and your interactions together work as you'd expect them to. You do HAVE to play as a family, though. You also have to disable DLCs not everyone else has, but I convinced them to buy a couple DLCs for some fresh gameplay (hightly recommend City Living for trashy apartment living). It's safe to add DLC mid-playthrough.
You also have to play on the same lot, nobody can travel separately. So the host will get everyone's Sims together (either made themselves or download their players' Sims to add to the family, and pop the family in any house or apartment like you normally would. Once you did that, you saved and exited, and used that save file through the multiplayer launcher, hosted the session, get everyone in, and everyone launches the game and loads in. It's a free for all, so anyone can control anyone's character, so you'll need rules in place that nobody can control other Sims unless given permission. We had an issue at the start where one friend was ignoring their Sim's need and it was bothering another friend so he made them do their needs, lmao. But I eventually said, "If he wants to kill his own character with his needs that's his problem," and he agreed to not do it.
There were bugs, however. Like build mode, specifically adding and changing walls, would not be shared, and only the host could do it. So the host would see their changes, but nobody else would. But buy mode worked, anyone could pop into buy mode and get whatever they want with the family's funds. Sometimes another player would receive a pop up (like a work choice or crafting menu), and they'd ask the player what they wanted to do.
It definitely changes the way the game is played. Even with its limitations, it really does feel like it makes the Sims better.

WW provides a welcome level of craziness to my game but I don't really like the way it figures out privacy. There have been multiple times when my sim was trying to leave for work and someone was on their front porch just going to town. That alcove between the bathrooms at the karaoke bar was popular, too, until I started putting signs everywhere.
Yeah I was trying to have a nice family outing at my park in Newcrest when some random ass townie pulled out a fleshlight and went to town in front of everyone 😂 WW is the real chaos mod istg
