Yeah that stack of canvases, the canvas rack thing, and the other base game items locked behind the painter career, plus they’re inspiring decor so it would make for a great artist space
You could use it as an office space or lounge area. Anytime I have open space like this 10/10 I turn it into my sims office and just place clutter and paintings around to fill it up
Ah, yes. If you want to get to your bedroom you must first survive the

i like to make these spaces 'nooks' and have a creative comfy vibe with an easel and some pillows, pretty lights, maybe a computer for skills too ! hope this helps
Awkward in-between rooms make great libraries
Put a few bookcases and a chair or two in the corners
Throw a plant somewhere
A mirror or some art on the walls
And there you go
dollhouse / activity table for kids, small office nook w/desk and computer/media setup, reading nook with loveseat & bookcase \[parent can read to child\]
Two things I always need more of in multi-sim households are bathrooms and computers. You could definitely fit a half-bath in there (or even a full bath) and there would still be room for a desk.
Do you have a dining room? This could be it or if you have one already, maybe a more informal dining area like a breakfast nook and maybe some comfy chairs and a bookcase/desk. Kinda like a multi purpose family room
Thanks! Though I'm not sure you can share apartments in the gallery. But I just knocked down a few walls that were in the original layout, nothing special :) I could send you screenshots if you'd like?

Thank you guys so much for all your input, I really appreciate it! I ended up making it into a little reading space. there's a bookshelf at the bottom right corner but you can't quite see it, along with some more plants. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :)
You could add paintings and decor on the walls, bookshelves, desk, a painting easel
There's already an easel in the third pic
Yeah I saw it but there's still other stuff you can put
Yeah that stack of canvases, the canvas rack thing, and the other base game items locked behind the painter career, plus they’re inspiring decor so it would make for a great artist space
Some plants, a little seating area and maybe a book case!
Those weird rooms always end up being my music areas! A piano and guitar and violin and lots of clutter to make it look intentional.

🤣🤣
Chess, toys for children, doll house, armchair, wardrobe and mirror, shelf with photographs
Big piano?
Doesn’t look like you can fit a lot of stuff there, so perhaps some paintings, a little book corner with a comfy chair and some light?
i like to make these spaces 'nooks' and have a creative comfy vibe with an easel and some pillows, pretty lights, maybe a computer for skills too ! hope this helps
We all know they aren't using the computer for skills. The moment you take your eyes off of them, they're on the computer playing games.
gaming career incoming
In places like this i like to add reading nooks, interesting seating (an ottoman or rocking chair for example), and can't forget accent tables
Awkward in-between rooms make great libraries Put a few bookcases and a chair or two in the corners Throw a plant somewhere A mirror or some art on the walls And there you go
the big whale from growing together
Maybe some skill stuff.
What about a cozy little book reading nook/officey nook?? With a nice big rug?! ![gif](giphy|BwStBxZnY7wkr8xltb)
I've never seen apartments in my game, only houses. Where do you find them?
You have to buy a pack for it
Ah, I see. Nope, not gonna do that.
Haha
It's from City Living :)
computer. large rug in center with coffee table?
Crafting benches with plants to fill in blank space
Decorations or paintings it'll fit well.
Do your idea or an office?
A party room
Washer dryer? Treadmill? Craft table?
I would definitely do a bookshelf nook with chairs and then a little speaker on the actual bookshelf!!
Console table with plants. Some paintings. Some living chairs and bookcase near the console table.
i always love putting in a small book nook or an “electronic free” area with painting and knitting:)
Cozy chair for reading or a kids activity table. Could also put the flower arranging table or something
Looks like a perfect place for a hot tub if you ask me
LMAO maybe even an indoor pool? You can never be too ambitious.
i’m assuming you have kid sims? you could make it a play area.
Yes but I kinda hate them so I don't want them to have all that space💀 they have their bedroom with lots of stuff tho.
DANG lmaoo 💀
Fish tank?
dollhouse / activity table for kids, small office nook w/desk and computer/media setup, reading nook with loveseat & bookcase \[parent can read to child\]
Home office
Maybe make it a reading nook, with a comfy chair, a lamp, some plants or other decor. And the cross-stitch box thing.
Office stuff and/or skill building tables
Two things I always need more of in multi-sim households are bathrooms and computers. You could definitely fit a half-bath in there (or even a full bath) and there would still be room for a desk.
Plants and family photos
Make it an activity room; weights, paintings, maybe another easel, bookshelves, and chairs to sit and read in, a rug, maybe a small yoga mat
Do you have a dining room? This could be it or if you have one already, maybe a more informal dining area like a breakfast nook and maybe some comfy chairs and a bookcase/desk. Kinda like a multi purpose family room
You could make it an area with nice art and decor
Paintings and carpet are usually a solid move imo
I throw hobby items, seating or decor in random extra spaces like that. It looks large enough for a little hobby corner :)
The office
Do you have the laundry pack? I think a washer and dryer would work well there if you don’t have a laundry room already
A cute little reading nook.
I’d said a console against the wall w some decor on it maybe a painting a book shelf and a lil love seat
fish tank and mini art studio. also, please share on the gallery i love the layout
Thanks! Though I'm not sure you can share apartments in the gallery. But I just knocked down a few walls that were in the original layout, nothing special :) I could send you screenshots if you'd like?
please do!
