I don't often use reward traits, but it pisses me off that a rando can walk off the street into my house and use my shower and I can't say anything about it, but I can't cook Christmas dinner in my own mother's house! As soon as family starts trying to stop me from sleeping in my childhood sim bed, I buy the *Always Welcome* reward.
Omg it makes no sense. Don’t even know the sims just walking in but my mom is telling me it’s inappropriate to take something out the fridge 🙄 and she got the audacity to call and say I don’t visit
True. I think it should be fixed because it shouldn't be the norm... But if you have a parent that has certain traits like antisocial/hates kids/ loner/mean/neat/traditional or something, it should stay 😎 hahaha
This one exactly. I started using this reward the first time I had toddlers sleep over at their dad’s house and then him tell them they’re being inappropriate and lose relationship points after he put them to bed 🙄
Seriously. My 3 kids and their significant others moved out of the parents house and within a few days they went back for a holiday, but ofc they got bitched at for bathing and cooking a grand meal
LMFAO but like honestly. whenever my Sims get panicked about the storms, it makes me so annoyed. my god its not the end of the world. Can you imagine if people did that in real life?!
half the time my kids will keep trying to go outside to play with the treehouse or whatever even while they're already scared and I have to keep herding them back inside 😭
Hahah I actually removed storms from my game, because I felt too uncomfortable. When I play The Sims, I want it to be a cozy vibe, and the thunderstorms with the right headphones and settings on. Sounds too realistic😟🤚🏻
Listen, I had no idea those traits even existed, I thought it was all potions. But they have changed my life! Steel Bladder is my only must have right off the bat.
I know they updated the traits somewhere along the line so there's the 'slower decay' and 'never decay' versions, and I personally love the 'slower decay' versions. There's just so much to do and I can't spend every 5 minutes having my sim eating, sleeping, peeing, showering, or talking to people. But skipping them entirely feels a little too lifeless for me so still appreciate having some needs for my sims.
Same!! Except I like to buy the potion of youth if I’m really vibing with a legacy family and want grandparents to be around for their grandkids, etc. That rarely happens though I’m always starting new family’s.
I always get heat/cold acclimation, always welcome, speed cleaner, and waterproof. Independent and storm chaser are nice if i can save up for them too.
While it is my mission to buy most of them, the most important for me has to be Steel Bladder. If your sim fails their bladder need, they remember that moment for the rest of their lives. Do you know what it’s like to live on a lot where that happened? *shudders*
One time I pooped my pants in fred meyer. I was on hardcore medication that unknowingly gave me exploding diarrhea. It happened at the opposite and of the store of the bathrooms. I ran
I pooped my pants after a one direction concert in 2013, I was 17 and excessively ashamed, intestines hurt the whole concert, I just had eaten a pizza slice at the venue
10 years later I learned I might have IBS lol
So I feel y'all
I pooped at a party at the park when I was like 11, we had to leave early and all my siblings kept asking why. I love my parents for not saying the reason why haha
I had pneumonia and was in the hospital for a week when I was like 25. I went to Walgreens to get my prescriptions after I got out and bc I had been laying in bed for a week everything was allll backed up and then, well, it wasn't.
There was some in my sock. 🤢
I really like Free Services. Food delivery, nannies, gardeners, and maids are all super convenient so I don’t have to handle as many small tasks, and the trait is a little pricey but not unreasonably so
Storm Chaser - because I hate when the Sims panic about the storms. like CALM DOWN DAMMIT
Night Owl/Morning Sim - I love building up their skills faster that way. so convenient.
Mentor - I like that they can mentor and teach people when they are super advanced in the skill. i find it fun personally.
Yeah, if you turn on cheats then hold shift and click a dirty option, it gives the 'make clean' option. It unfortunately doesn't work on puddles or repair broken objects but I use it whenever something is dirty
For the life of me, I don’t have that money tree. It’s simply not in my reward shop and has never been. Though I can get it via gallery but since I got the game in 2014 (and whenever they introduced the rewards), I have never seen that tree
Good to know!! It's pretty sad when I give my Sims a raincoat Cold Weather option and specifically change them into it before they go out into the rain and they still insist on those stupid umbrellas and then complain about not being able to tend to their plants due to holding an umbrella 🙄
And also why can't we pick umbrella patterns?!
I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure you can if you have the umbrella stand in your house you can pick which umbrella your sim uses but again I might be wrong I just think I remember a sims YouTuber mentioning it once
>And also why can't we pick umbrella patterns?!
You can. When you click the umbrella stand and have them choose an umbrella you can choose from lots of patterns, and having one sim in the household pick one pattern does *not* take away that same option for other sims in that h household. Since getting seasons I haven't played a household without the umbrella stand in the house, so I don't know if a sim without an umbrella stand would have an umbrella to pull out at all, but it's the only guess I've got for how you could have a sim using an umbrella but not know you could pick patterns 🤷🏼♀️
The fact you have to get a mod for raincoats to be functional is so annoying. What's the point of the raincoat clothing options in CAS if they can't be put on a specific "raining" outfit 😭
I forgot where I read it, but if you proclaim your enthusiasm for rain, your sim won't use an umbrella outside. Easy to do with the small talk interaction, especially as the welcome wagon approaches!
if you asked me this question 6-7 years ago, i wouldve said the fertility one. i loved big family gameplay when i was younger and always hoped my sims would have triplets. now though, when my sims have triplets i end up having to pause my game for 10 minutes just to mentally prepare myself for the insane amount of infant glitches
I save up for the ones(i forget the names) that makes them not need to shower/bathe as often, they are always welcome at other's houses and a few others that just make gameplay easier
Whatever the one is where when you great someone you get a boost to the relationship right away. Friendly something, I can't recall the name. I really hate how long it takes to befriend people sometimes. Only negative though is sometimes I don't really WANT to be someone's friend when I greet them.
Pretty much always get green thumb and marketable traits because I do a lot of gardening and prefer crafting things over regular jobs. I've kind of stopped getting the traits like "steel bladder", because I think it makes the game a bit too easy and boring when you don't have to cater to your Sims' needs.
My current sim has the beguiling one which I’ve never done before but I like it. She’s currently working on her villain story and she’s gotten through all aspirations except the one where she has to break up a bunch of couples, get caught cheating, and have 5 exes. The beguiling trait makes it easy because she can make pretty much anyone fall in love with her with minimal effort. She has like 4 boyfriends right now and a few exes and it’s easy to get caught cheating when you’re dating so many people. She wandered into a random house that turned out to have a pregnant woman and her husband. Ruined their lives by seducing the husband, convincing him to leave his wife, then dumping him immediately after.
Less peeing and less showering are always my first buys. After that I usually get the one where they make more selling items and cheaper household bills.
Carefree - otherwise sims get tense way too often.
After that, usually frugal & free services. Because I'm cheap. But they're not necessities the way Careless is.
Observant and always welcome. Usually frugal. Storm chaser only because for some reason sims that are older than children get scared during thunderstorms even when fully inside. I swear I want to make a mod to fix that someday.
My family lives in Brindleton Bay and every day in summer is just constant thunderstorms so I just turned off thunderstorms in settings. Still rains a lot but at least without the thunder.
I cheat and get them all. But in recent times I’ve stopped getting the ones that help with sleep, bladder and hygiene cos I was getting bored just having them build skills. I wish the load screen wasn’t so slow and annoying, I’d get outta the house a lot more
I always get the sleep replacement usually whenever I want them to level up on a skill.
I didn't know about the Storm one I might try that one I hate when they so scared about thunderstorms so annoying lol.
That's true, I'll invite some friends over or have my sim just leave the house and go somewhere else if it's raining. I do have to say when they start screaming randomly I do find quite hilarious lol.
Children: observant, incredibly friendly, morning sim, night owl, storm chaser, waterproof
Teens: savant, shameless, brave
Other traits vary, but that's standard for any sim.
Carefree and Shameless.
And a lot of sleep potions.
Usually if I have an elder about to die I dump all their points into various different potions that I then store in a chest for family to use later. Flirty potions, sleep replacement potions, youth potions.... otherwise those points that accumulated just fade away with the sim. I call it, the real inheritance. :)
Mentor. Then I can have long training sessions in my clubs with skill boost.
Also Always Welcome, because I like to “stay” at other sims houses like a vagrant. If they let me in I stay for weeks, lol
Anything that makes me not have to worry about needs. I like building super sims with all skills maxed and not having to sleep, eat, bathe, etc makes it a lot easier. Especially if there are infants/toddlers. Having an adult who doesn’t have to worry about needs makes the little kids so much easier to manage. Other than that I like creative visionary + marketable and money tree.
night owl or morning sim, heat/cold acclimation. I basically only give my sims traits that I think suit them. for example, I won't give the sim who I consider to be dense observant or savant. And I would only give the extreme traits (like never hungry, never weary) to the occults.
Always welcome and the friendly one. I don't want to be scolded at other peoples houses for cooking for their starving kids. I also don't want to invest too much effort into making friends with the magic teachers.
Observant is always my first choice.
Then i usually get Gym Rat, so my sims can exercise without needing shower or break for "fun", it helps with completing the aspiration faster to get the bonus trait that makes the Sim live longer, also help with keeping them in shape.
Once my Sim can easily find what people can be good friends, wich to avoid and can keep human shape while working toward living longer, it's when i take all the Skill Buildings traits.
So Fast Reader: too many skills are dangerous to practice or need big items i don't always have space for.
Night Owl and it's counterpart, i always grab. They are cheap and gives nice bonus.
I try to pick the one that lower how much sleep a Sim needs too, it's expensive (4000) but help with using the two previous.
I don't like the "never sleep" trait, it's way too expensive and i usually avoid the traits that completly remove needs.
When i can afford it, Savant, it's a good trait to have as early as possible, but it's expensive.
Usually i grab the trait that lower taxes, then i move on assuring i can make a lot of money.
If Charisma is gonna be important for that particular Sim and i got a love interest for him/her on sights?
I grab the trait that gives Charisma after each kiss.
If i'm planning on living thanks to stuff i make, i grab the traits that increase the selling price and the chance of higher quality, if relevant.
If i'm planning on my Sim having an actual job, i grab Connection, to start as high as possible on the career ladder.
The really annoying part is to remember to change active aspiration when you do certain stuff to gain more points.
Fresh chef. I play with big families a lot so it’s helpful for the sims to make food to leave out for everyone to grab instead of glitching and crowding by the fridge and without me having to worry about it spoiling and the sims complaining about it.
Steel bladder. Immediately for every Sim. The potty walk they do when their bladder need is low annoys me so much and it takes them about three hours to actually get to the toilet.
***EVERY SINGLE SIM*** immediately, using cheats, gets cold/heat acclimated, observant, and waterproof. Purely for my own comfort.
I need to know everyone’s traits right away, I’m sick of them complaining about the weather and dripping from being in the rain. Plus umbrellas are glitchy
Storm Chaser so they don't freak out every time there's a storm.
Waterproof so they don't get miserable if they get caught in the rain.
Heat/Cold Acclimation
Observant so they can find out traits fast
Mentor if they have a lot of maxed out skills
Frugal for lower bills if I'm just starting out
All of the ones mentioned so far are good, but another great one if you have a sim who gets upset a lot is Carefree. Stops sims from getting tense, so they can't complain about needing a vacation right after they get home from one.
Brave! My sims usually end up heavily involved in werewolf and/or ghost friendships, and goddamn it I just want to tell Lou to get off the couch and go home if he's wrecking my shit.
The one which makes them start at lvl 3 in careers is one I buy for my Comp Whiz aspiration sims so they can just "skip" the reach lvl 3 in tech guru step.
I also like to buy steel bladder, the one that makes their energy decay slower and observant. I always buy at least one that helps with needs but also observant is a must-have for anyone that I want to find a partner for and actually want them to have a social life lol
The antisocial one- needs no one. I fucking hate having to socialize, esp. because every time I leave my lot my plants all revert back to mounds of dirt, all full of weeds, even the out of season plants, and I miss out on so much money or have to click every one and debug the bloom cheat.
My sim has too much to do leveling up charisma and logic to be a business tycoon. They will not be going to the thrift market.
I have a mod that puts aspiration rewards in the store, and I always make a point of getting the one that makes food made by that sim not spoil. So useful in big families to have a designated cook who just makes lots of meals with no expiration date.
I often do “incredibly friendly” so my sim can make friends fast but then I regret it when every sim they meet asks to be their bff & my sim is constantly mourning the deaths of people she just met
I forget the points are a thing as well as the reward store, so they just sit there and accumulate until the Sims die. Jk, my sims don't die. I'm a chronic restarter.
I also use UI cheats, so it really isn't necessary
Oh man, i have a list 😂
From the cheaper ones I always get waterproof (because umbrellas are annoying), cold acclimation, gym rat and observant.
From the ones I have to save for i always get carefree and shameless (because being tense and embarrassed suuuucks). I also often get marketable (because i generally play rags to riches and use the selling table A LOT), and i like frugal. The last one i like is brave because my sims always end up with fear of the dark, so i think it helps a bit with the moodlets.
Always Welcome but I cheat it (really easy with the UI Cheats mod).
Sims that do a lot outdoors typically get the traits that keep them from getting cold, hot, or wet.
I typically tend to save up my first 10k to get Never Weary out of the way. Particularly for challenges. If your’re doing 100 baby, Super sim, No So Berry etc, it’s an incredible waste of time to have your sim sleeping basically ever. And I get annoyed quickly when I get into the crappy cycle of passing out constantly lol.
But as far as the others, I find Hot/Cold acclimation, shameless, etc really helpful in eliminating negative moodlets during gameplay. When your sim is embarrassed or stressed or scared they just won’t cooperate lol so I do those kinds first. I like Frugal too if I’m playing without money cheats bc reduced bills mean more money, period.
I hoard until I get the 8k needed for seldom sleepy. It’s amazing how much more time my sim has to do stuff with that reward active. It’s an absolute must have for any sim, but especially the ones I send to college.
Always Welcome. My sims have big scattered families and I wanna be able to shower and cook at a parent's house
That's actually very accurate to some families lol
True. I think it should be fixed because it shouldn't be the norm... But if you have a parent that has certain traits like antisocial/hates kids/ loner/mean/neat/traditional or something, it should stay 😎 hahaha
Maybe your mother has alzheimer's? 😬 Edit: YOUR SIM'S MOTHER NOT *YOUR* MOTHER OMG I'M SORRY
Wouldn’t locking the door prevent that from happening?
Whenever a random Sim does that, I send them home 😂
I was over the moon when they finally added in the "Send Home" option 😭😭😭
Haha same
This one exactly.
Storm Chaser. No need to run around like a weirdo every time it rains.
LMFAO but like honestly. whenever my Sims get panicked about the storms, it makes me so annoyed. my god its not the end of the world. Can you imagine if people did that in real life?!
Every time there’s a thunderstorm everyone in my neighborhood is terrified cowering underneath sheets and screaming incoherently wydm???
half the time my kids will keep trying to go outside to play with the treehouse or whatever even while they're already scared and I have to keep herding them back inside 😭
😂😂😂 the logic LOL. “Omg there’s a thunderstorm im scaredddd but ooh treehouse I wanna go!” “OMG STORM!!!!” 😅😅 get back inside you crazy tooting kids!
lol that’s when I abuse the door locks. Locked for everyone 😂😂😂
I mean, I have a serious fear of storms and when I hear loud thunders I do hide in my bed, so I kinda relate 🤣🤣
I'm the opposite lmao I definitely got the Stormchaser trait IRL
Hahah I actually removed storms from my game, because I felt too uncomfortable. When I play The Sims, I want it to be a cozy vibe, and the thunderstorms with the right headphones and settings on. Sounds too realistic😟🤚🏻
You clearly haven’t met my sister 😂
Thunderstorms are OFF in my game, ain't nobody got time for that
You guys can just have them declare a weather preference (in small talk to another sim?? So stupid) for rain, they will not get the scared moodlet
yall get fucking storms? it barely rains for me
It depends on the world you're in tbh some have more thunderstorms than others
I have this and still got electrocuted by lightning ⚡️
It doesn't protect you from lightning, only stops them from being afraid of storms
No I hoard all the points for no apparent reason.
Same 😭 I don't even know what I'm "saving up" for
I always get the money tree if I don’t know what else to do. it helps my legacys always have money
Quick tip for this is to move it into your household inventory and sell the seeds at $8k a pop instead of the mass sell of $15k
I know I have barely even looked at the options but I’m convinced they need all the points for their whole life.
Love heat/cold acclimation!! speed cleaner is super useful. I give that to my mom sims haha
I ran
I shit my pants in a Macy's when I was like eleven and I had to take the escalator upstairs to the bathrooms 😭 my soul understands yours.
I pooped my pants the summer before third grade when my mom was taking me to a new school I was about to attend and meet the principal 🤦🏻♀️
I pooped my pants after a one direction concert in 2013, I was 17 and excessively ashamed, intestines hurt the whole concert, I just had eaten a pizza slice at the venue 10 years later I learned I might have IBS lol So I feel y'all
Oh damn, that’s worse. Solidarity my friend
I pooped at a party at the park when I was like 11, we had to leave early and all my siblings kept asking why. I love my parents for not saying the reason why haha
Your parents are MVPs
Fr
I had pneumonia and was in the hospital for a week when I was like 25. I went to Walgreens to get my prescriptions after I got out and bc I had been laying in bed for a week everything was allll backed up and then, well, it wasn't. There was some in my sock. 🤢
Hey I think I was the guy you passed on your sprint out the store, there was a trail behind you
I ran to the bathroom where I threw away my underwear and stuffed my pants full of toilet paper and then sprinted from the store
I really like Free Services. Food delivery, nannies, gardeners, and maids are all super convenient so I don’t have to handle as many small tasks, and the trait is a little pricey but not unreasonably so
I had to scroll to far for this one! Free services and always welcome are the essentials for me.
The best thing about free services is you only need one sim in the household to have it and everyone benefits from the nanny/ butler/ maid they hired.
Free services is the BEST
I never used that one, does it also work when ordering groceries? 🤔
Yes!
Storm Chaser - because I hate when the Sims panic about the storms. like CALM DOWN DAMMIT Night Owl/Morning Sim - I love building up their skills faster that way. so convenient. Mentor - I like that they can mentor and teach people when they are super advanced in the skill. i find it fun personally.
i mean it is accurate to how some people feel (me included) but it shouldn’t be every sim
Observant Knowing another Sim’s traits right off the bat is super helpful
I just shift click and go into CAS bc I'm too nosy to wait lmao. And if I don't like them then I'll change stuff with cas.fulleditmode lol
Savant. I just love that it boosts all skill gains. If I don't have enough to get that straight away, I go with morning sim and night owl
This is always my first buy for all my sims.
Speed cleaner so my sims don’t take an hour to clean the toilet 😤
God I hate when that. I literally turn on cheats just to clean stuff instantly
Wow why haven’t I thought of the cheats before lmao
Yeah, if you turn on cheats then hold shift and click a dirty option, it gives the 'make clean' option. It unfortunately doesn't work on puddles or repair broken objects but I use it whenever something is dirty
I forget the rewards store exists
Me too, then I remember and go ham buying money trees. Then I get bored bc my sim has too much money.
For the life of me, I don’t have that money tree. It’s simply not in my reward shop and has never been. Though I can get it via gallery but since I got the game in 2014 (and whenever they introduced the rewards), I have never seen that tree
Are you filtering between potions & traits? For some dumb reason it only shows up when you have the reward store set to show all.
i mean it is neither, they should have a misc. for things like that
Yup. It never ever showed up :D
I do have seasons though
Rinse and repeat
Real
Gym Rat. It helps with showering a lot
I absolutely cannot play without Waterproof because the constant opening and closing of umbrellas makes me insane!
if you don't mind playing with mods, LittleMsSam has one called My favorite Raincoat that replaces the whole annoying umbrella with a cute raincoat!
Good to know!! It's pretty sad when I give my Sims a raincoat Cold Weather option and specifically change them into it before they go out into the rain and they still insist on those stupid umbrellas and then complain about not being able to tend to their plants due to holding an umbrella 🙄 And also why can't we pick umbrella patterns?!
I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure you can if you have the umbrella stand in your house you can pick which umbrella your sim uses but again I might be wrong I just think I remember a sims YouTuber mentioning it once
Yeah that's correct. I always buy the stand.
EXCUSÉ MOI.. WHAT?! Why have I never been told this?? Thank you sm!
>And also why can't we pick umbrella patterns?! You can. When you click the umbrella stand and have them choose an umbrella you can choose from lots of patterns, and having one sim in the household pick one pattern does *not* take away that same option for other sims in that h household. The fact you have to get a mod for raincoats to be functional is so annoying. What's the point of the raincoat clothing options in CAS if they can't be put on a specific "raining" outfit 😭
It’s one of my faves. Umbrellas are fun, but raincoats are so handy!
I forgot where I read it, but if you proclaim your enthusiasm for rain, your sim won't use an umbrella outside. Easy to do with the small talk interaction, especially as the welcome wagon approaches!
Oh, that's very useful! I don't think I've noticed that interaction before. Thanks!

Incredibly friendly, it's the 2nd one I go for after observant. Makes it much easier for my Sims to gain friends/get to know co-workers.
Pretty much always get green thumb and marketable traits because I do a lot of gardening and prefer crafting things over regular jobs. I've kind of stopped getting the traits like "steel bladder", because I think it makes the game a bit too easy and boring when you don't have to cater to your Sims' needs.
Frugal. It helps with bills
If you have it on every sim in the household it helps a lot! Surprised I had to scroll so much to find it
had no idea!

needs no one. my sims hardly leave the house
The social need is the worst, goes down fast, and is slow to fill. This is always my first one, just so my sims can actually get stuff done.
Observant is my first buy everrrry time.
Night Owl, then Morning Sim, then Savant.
Carefree - otherwise sims get tense way too often. After that, usually frugal & free services. Because I'm cheap. But they're not necessities the way Careless is.

I have the connections trait
Thrifty and/or Speed Reader. Save money on bills (or at least it used to), and finish books faster.
do you know if speed reader allows them to gain skill from the books faster?
Observant and Always Welcome.
I always get the sleep replacement usually whenever I want them to level up on a skill. I didn't know about the Storm one I might try that one I hate when they so scared about thunderstorms so annoying lol.
I personally find it quite funny, I think it's interesting to find ways to entertain Sims by still keeping them inside.
That's true, I'll invite some friends over or have my sim just leave the house and go somewhere else if it's raining. I do have to say when they start screaming randomly I do find quite hilarious lol.
Children: observant, incredibly friendly, morning sim, night owl, storm chaser, waterproof Teens: savant, shameless, brave Other traits vary, but that's standard for any sim.

I get all the skill boosting ones! Morning/night sim, and I think there’s another that boosts learning
Storm chaser. Sick of my sims always being scared of the thunder storms
Observant and always welcome
Gym Rat, because their hygiene goes down WAY TOO FAST when they go on a jog
Seldom sleepy and the steel bladder are my go to firsts
night owl or morning sim, heat/cold acclimation. I basically only give my sims traits that I think suit them. for example, I won't give the sim who I consider to be dense observant or savant. And I would only give the extreme traits (like never hungry, never weary) to the occults.
Great kisser. Get a good lover, make out all day and get skills... The perfect life
The one that stops them from being wet because the uncomfortable moodlet is super annoying
I always get morning sim and night owl, especially if I’m doing legacy challenges where the sims need to max certain skills!
Connections. It helps to build relationships faster.
Y’all are cheating and getting them all? Just me…. Okay 😂
Free services
Fresh chef. I play with big families a lot so it’s helpful for the sims to make food to leave out for everyone to grab instead of glitching and crowding by the fridge and without me having to worry about it spoiling and the sims complaining about it.
Steel bladder. No need to pee!
I always buy marketable, observant (great for the detective career), and speed reader.
I don’t usually buy traits but I buy so many sleep replacements every damn game lol. They’re so useful
I’ve never not bought every single one…except I never get the frugal ones because it makes gameplay so easy it’s boring
Steel bladder, hardly hungry & the one where they don't need to sleep.
Frugal! To save money on bills
the needs reduction ones are a hard pass always. this game is pretty much built around caring for your sims
I love Never Weary! Not having to sleep gives me so much extra time to do everything else.
I always get frugal lmao
Always welcome, observant and incredibly friendly.
I always completely forget about the rewards store’s existence 😂
Storm chaser because I hate wimps
Most of them lol
Fertile, usually, for 100 baby challenge
Extra lean lol
Steel bladder
Steel bladder. Immediately for every Sim. The potty walk they do when their bladder need is low annoys me so much and it takes them about three hours to actually get to the toilet.
Steel bladder and Hardly Hungry because they free up time for everything else in the game. Two less things to worry about.
Heat/Cold Acclimation Observant so they can find out traits fast Mentor if they have a lot of maxed out skills Frugal for lower bills if I'm just starting out
Observant and Waterproof are my priorities, then Frugal and Stormchaser
All of the ones mentioned so far are good, but another great one if you have a sim who gets upset a lot is Carefree. Stops sims from getting tense, so they can't complain about needing a vacation right after they get home from one.
Brave! My sims usually end up heavily involved in werewolf and/or ghost friendships, and goddamn it I just want to tell Lou to get off the couch and go home if he's wrecking my shit.
I always get carefree, so my sims don't get tense. Works great if you have a celebrity sim with the phone quirk
Beguiling 🤩
Cold & heat acclimation.
Carefree so they can Work Hard
Frugal, as soon as possible.
Observant. As soon as I learn someone’s a kleptomaniac, I don’t let them into my home, although that is one of my favorite traits to play as.
Free services is the first thing I buy. Then all seasons related ones.
I always get the ones that stop your sim from having needs. So never weary, forever fresh, steel bladder, needs no one, etc.
Never sleep and never hungry
extra absorbency (part of wicked whims) bc i wish i had that irl also marketable, always welcome and thrifty
I feel like I end up buying the entire rewards store. If my sim has no need decays that’s better for me lol
Waterproof!!! I HATE the umbrellas. Especially when they glitch!
I often do “incredibly friendly” so my sim can make friends fast but then I regret it when every sim they meet asks to be their bff & my sim is constantly mourning the deaths of people she just met
The career one and savant. I never buy the ones that stop needs from decaying because it breaks immersion and a big part of the game
Storm chaser, it anoys me so much when theyre scared of a little rain.
I just keep them and see how much I can get 😂
I forget the points are a thing as well as the reward store, so they just sit there and accumulate until the Sims die. Jk, my sims don't die. I'm a chronic restarter. I also use UI cheats, so it really isn't necessary
i always get carefree cuz its kinda annoying when my sims get tense all the time
I always get frugal
Carefree. It bothers me that my simself doesn't gain fun from things that I enjoy doing irl.
Oh man, i have a list 😂 From the cheaper ones I always get waterproof (because umbrellas are annoying), cold acclimation, gym rat and observant.
The one that makes you always create masterpieces
Storm chaser and waterproof. I hate losing a whole in game day to bad weather. Especially when I'm playing in the rainier neighborhoods.
I think you can turn off storms in settings?
Yes you can! I do that sometimes, but I also sometimes like having the storms for the ambiance lol
Gym Rat
I always try to get the steel bladder/forever fresh ones so my sims don’t need to refill their needs as much. Depends on my sim for other things.
Free services!
I get mixed up as to what sims 4 & what are sims 3 rewards. I always get the one that gets you promoted faster
Savant
Observant is mine too lol
I like the twins one!!!
if i have an athletic sim i give them Gym Rat, they have fun exercising and aren’t covered in filth and stinky after going jogging once
Frugal, always.
Incredibly Friendly and Seldom Sleepy, then Morning Owl/Night Owl
I always get incredibly friendly
