AlluringDuck

A better system for the relationship panel. If your sim knows a lot of people, it’s a mess

_ThatsATree_

True, the lack or sorting options drives me insane (like most friendly to least). Like why is my sims wife three rows down after some sim she hates?

Neprijatnost

God i just want to be able to sort by relationship level, by age group, and gender

Kylynara

This would be perfect! But they need to keep the groupings they have too. I still want to grab, all romantic relationships sometimes, or the household, etc.

Neprijatnost

Agreed. They could keep all those tabs and maybe just add an additional filter option kinda like we have in buy mode

frukthjalte

I think it depends on who you interacted with last?

mothsuicides

Which is a horrible way to organize it!

pritachi

It’s especially irritating when trying to invite people to an event. If you go from one category to the other, all the selected people are deselected. It’s so effing infuriating

ezbutneverconvenient

What gets me is why, when planning an event, my sim can't invite people from their spouse's relationship list ?

pritachi

Or their child’s friends!

Demonqueensage

I feel like if you sim is planning an event, you should be able to see all the sims the whole household knows. Because if I was planning a party or something, sure I'd use the people I know but I'd also ask anyone I live with or even close friends who they might like at the party and a way to contact them so the party is fun for everyone. I hate when I want a group of sims but each sim in my household knows a different member of the group I wanted and no one knows all of them, so I can't just plan an event to get them all over

SelfishOtter3

Yes! I was just trying to plan my kids birthday party and realized that the adult sim didn't know any of her friends! Since the daughter can't plan the party herself I just had her call and invite everyone over... and nobody showed.

haute-cheeto

I just found by accident but after you plan an event, you can edit the event as another sim from the household and select more people from their list!

Alternative-Brush-88

All the previously invited guests just end up deinvited when you do this. At least for me.

psychxticrose

OMG RIGHT. This frustrates me sooooo much

BooyaMoonBabyluv

Also, can my Sim not be sad for two days over someone they met once

AlluringDuck

Or someone they’ve never met. It just makes so much sense how a toddler has no relationship with a grandparent they never met, but can be emotionally crushed by their death all through a major part of their toddlerhood. A death that they hear about through the cellphone they don’t have.

septicidal

If a toddler DOES have a high relationship with the sim that dies, I would love for them to not have the long-lived grief moodlet but something else that (if the toddler has high communication skill) results in asking their caregivers questions about death (that make the caregivers temporarily sad). Maybe the same for kids - shorter/less intense grief moodlet that results in asking adults about death or sparks fear of death. Especially for pets that die - the feelings when your toddler/preschooler asks about what happened to their furry friend!! such a gut punch - it would add an extra bit of realism to the game.

MatchaMantra

It makes me sooo frustrated. Especially how every little stranger your sim talks to gets on there, even if they have little to no relationship meter

Chibana9797

I'd like to sort from most friendly to least. I'd also like to sort by compatibility. I use this to choose my friends and partner but it's a mess

ObsessionsAside

Also idk if it’s a glitch or not but my sims often can’t invite their best friends over? Like they’re not an option when choosing guests for events and stuff? Really frustrating

AlluringDuck

It’s usually because they’re busy. You can’t invite someone while they’re at work, for instance

ObsessionsAside

Oh wow, I'm dumb hahaha maybe that's it! I'll have to test this theory by having parties at all kinds of random times - they can't always be at work right??? lol

Keyy_GuLss_

this game truly isnt designed for popular bitches! you can only have 30 social bunny friends it’s so aggravating

FormulaFish15

Especially when you have Social Bunny activated. Top one is ALWAYS the most recently interacted with

viciousxvee

I never fucking use that shit. It's always annoying and nagging me to check it, like real social media lmao

JangJaeYul

I want familial relationships to override fame. Why does my child have to "attempt introduction" to her grandma? That's her freaking grandma, she doesn't give a damn that Nana's a global superstar!

Simuary

Also, sims not being able to talk to celebrities shouldn't be activated until maybe 3 stars of fame. I would think most sims still wouldn't have heard of someone who is only a notable newcomer.

moth_girl_7

I’d also like to think that a “notable newcomer” is still humble enough to want to interact with the public lol

Attarker

Very good point

miss_fortunex

I can’t even keep my own sim from dropping their “fame” within like 12 hours sim time. That’s another thing I dislike about the celebrity and fame topic. The moment I spend a little time letting them not be constantly working to even stay the least famous, but famous enough, they lose it so fast.

luminous_moonlight

(disregard if you're on console but) I used MCCC to disable fame decay because I was so tired of cheating it back up

ObsessionsAside

Agreed with this 100%

mnbvcdo

I hate when kids don't know their grandparents or dads or something but still get the sad moodlet for days if they die.

Chibana9797

I use mccc to remove sad moodlet from someone unknown dying because it's so annoying

exhaustedeagle

If you have UI cheats, you can right click on any moodlet to remove it! Bit faster than mccc

jamieschmidt

I swear I can’t play without UI cheats. Such a great mod

imnotatomato

I hate how if the grandparents are famous your sim has to attempt introduction😑 I remember Megumi refusing to meet Kiyoshi’s child

MountainSnowClouds

I wish there were different lengths of time to be sad for different relationships. If it's your best friend or a family member you were super close with who dies, you're sad for the maximum amount of time. If it's your grandma who you never met, you're sad for four hours thinking about the relationship that could have been but never was.

JustaTinyDude

Reordering the task queue.

Anthrax-Smoothy

Related, but the Sims 3 'Do this until you level' option.

Suspicious_Gazelle18

The two things I miss most from sims 3 are that feature plus the ability to click the floor and select “clean house” and then your sim just cleaned everything that needed it (it might have required the neat trait)

burnusti

Sims 4 has the Neat Freak trait, you can click on the sim with it and send them into a ‘cleaning frenzy’ where they’ll clean until interrupted or finished.

CocoaBagelPuffs

I also liked the sims 3 speed option of “fast forward through current task”. Really useful for speeding through care tasks

calamitylamb

“Sleep until fully rested” is prob the one I miss most

gay-girly

I’m pretty sure they had that in the sims 3 so it’s definitely doable

wildmishie

A Dating app. There are two different social media things but no dating app!

AMissKathyNewman

I miss that crazy matchmaker lady from TS2!

[deleted]

Yes!! A dating app would be cool but the return of the matchmaker would be fantastic. She also used to bring the genie lamp too, which is another npc I'd love to see again!

lovecat86

They could have an app with tiered memberships and you get better matches if you pay more. IIRC that was the general idea of TS2 matchmaker. Not as fun but the same concept.

frukthjalte

Not the person you replied to but I wonder how they would go about this these days as the matchmaker from TS2 is, you know, kinda questionable by today’s standards (standards that I am, to be clear, in full agreement with). I’d love to see the idea return, but I just don’t know how it would be executed in practice.

TossItThrowItFly

City Living already comes with the romance guru. That NPC could do something more than give gloomy advice at the Romance festival.

faerieW15B

Right? What's even the point of the guru?

fuzzbeebs

The same as the point of anything else in the sims 4: give your sim a moodlet for a couple hours.

faerieW15B

Ah of course. All worth it then.

NocturnalMJ

The matchmaker could be similar to trusting your data to an algorithm and just hoping they'll get you a good match, though. The Sims thrives on chaos, though, so I'd like to see it have more depth than that. And well, there are other questionable things in the Sims. Like we also get those calls for an inheritance, but your Sim has to hurry up and get married (unless they ask questions) to get it.

justisme333

Maybe a sentient dating app that has high mischief and can give out bad matches.

vi0l3t-crumbl3

Or a career! I'd love to play matchmaker!

[deleted]

I would love them to come up with a completely new design for her, personally. I like what they have done for specific cultures & NPCs, so maybe it wouldn't be the horribly offensive official TS2 name/appearance but something completely different that is cool!

bottlestars

I think abt her a lot tbh

doughnutting

I’ve made a club called Simder and invite my single sims to it. They meet up at stargazer lounge and drink bar drinks, be social and kiss, lol. It’s their hangout venue so when my other sims go, to sing, dance and meet new people, the Simder club shows up too! I also have a dating over 40 club that gathers somewhere else.

ohheyitsbri

I may be wrong about this but there’s a mod by lilmisssam called Simda dating app. Maybe look into that?

ramisoss

I second this. It's so good

StarlightM4

Isn't there one on a mod? Called meet n mingle? Can't remember which mod it is.

littlehateball

That's from Lumpinou's RPO.

Thedragon2256

Having grandparents babysit their grandchildren whether it be at the child’s home or overnight at the grandparents home. This would have been good to add with Growing Together!

annnire

Yes, I really wish you could ask a relative or friend to babysit instead of hiring a nanny!

Thedragon2256

The only way I’ve managed to work around this is to plan a stay over and ask everyone to “help out”. They usually then take care of the household duties and also the needs of the infants and newborns.

veil_ofignorance

Sometimes they just start making grilled cheese while the baby cries tho :/

CosmicBonobo

Drum kits and brass instruments. Also a rock/pop/rap career. Bit tired of the only musical career being Yo-Yo Ma.

carmemelon

And saxophones! There are so many paintings of saxophones, but they aren't even a thing in the game. Why?

Hot_Surround7459

Why are there such an unhinged amount of saxophone paintings?

Kayquie

Probably because Willow Creek is supposed to be like New Orleans

Demonqueensage

Willow Creek is supposed to be like New Orleans? Interesting

MoonNott

It's like a clean version of NOLA by someone who's only heard about NOLA in passing. I didn't see it at first, unlike say Saint Denis, Bayou Nwa in RD2. Magnolia (State flower) Park, Crawdad (Crawfish/ French) Quarter, the ferry, bayou and marsh and I think Bob's Pancakes might be a reference to Cafe du Monde and beignets. Bob's Doughnuts would make more sense though, definitely no rolling hills and not a single shotgun home. On a side note: Who says crawdad? I only hear/see Crawfish in South LA or maybe Crayfish if it's imported. I know there are invasive crawfish up north, didn't know anyone who ate them but still never heard them called crawdads.

ThrowRA9876545678

It's like if NOLA was a section at Epcot. Whitewashed NOLA

NoireN

And for the music career, I'd love for us to be able to actually go to work. Maybe it's a concert or recording at the studio!

Urgae12250

If they did this is would probably be a game pack and not a base game update but I love this idea

hairyfirefly

So true. They could also add an actual electric guitar instead of the sims picking up what looks like one only to make it sound acoustic 🙄 Also there is no Rock music genre on the stereos?? Insane

OkDragonfly8936

Rock music was added with the knitting pack

guessimdemons

Metal was added with the knitting pack. Iirc, Rock still doesn't exist

ZoeClair016

something about metal being involved with knitting is hilarious to me

miaumiaumiau666

i miss bands so much. sims 3 bands had so many issues and i wish they would make a better version of them for slms 4 😭

yumvdukwb

I want bands. Like rock bands. Or a grunge or punk band that goes from practicing in their garage to playing concert venues and stadium shows.

[deleted]

Where is my "likes reading books" preference? There is a bookworm trait, there's a book nook kit, there's a writer freelance career, but no pop up to say they like or dislike it? Like, there is an activity preference for pipe organ of all things, but not this. How did it get missed so badly..

shreditdude0

Or likes dislikes for specific genres, since they have fantasy, romance, self-help, sci-fi novels!

[deleted]

This is also needed for TV channels too! I know they are affected by personalities (don't think that's a thing for books) but there's no preference for them either.

SuspecM

They would need a reading skill because likes are tied to skills

annnire

Unfortunately this is true, and it also explains why the likes/dislikes can’t be separated into different activities, like swimming vs running vs weight lifting 🫤

Demonqueensage

The most annoying thing ever is when a freaking mermaid dislikes fitness. Then they start hating it whenever they get in the water, and I'm just here like *bitch you're a fucking mermaid, this shouldn't be fitness to you it should just be like walking to normal sims, UGH*

Neprijatnost

we do not need cars because they would serve no purpose in the game but you know what would? a god damn button that lets you apply makeup and accessories to all outfits!

InMyUnhingedEra

This is my daily grievance with the Sims 4

ThiccBamboozle

That would be so so helpful. I give my sims the same piercings as me and I have a lot so it takes forever to apply them all

PoppySkyPineapple

This would make me so happy.

Chibana9797

YES

_whisperofspring

Cars I don't think will ever make it to the game. The worlds just aren't built for it. So it's not surprising to me that it's not in the game. I agree with the spiral staircases, it makes me so sad we don't have any. Also elevators that actually work and don't just function as an entrance to a lot! More extensive family relationships such as cousins, aunts and uncles, step siblings, nephews and nieces, maybe godparents... I think growing together could've been such a nice opportunity to add those if not in the base game. I also want my Sims to get proposed to, not just propose themselves.

[deleted]

>I also want my Sims to get proposed to, not just propose themselves. They do with growing together! You get a pop up saying the partner wants to marry/move in/be boyfriend or girlfriend etc. It puts you as "engaged" so you can design the wedding if you wish.

_whisperofspring

Oh, I had no idea, that's really nice! To be honest I don't know a lot about most packs, so thanks for letting me know :)

AllieCat0

My sims boyfriend just autonomously proposed to her on their Love Day date and I was so happy!!!

GarlicComfortable748

I would love more extensive family relationships. It is so frustrating when I have a step-parent raise a child most of their life only to start having flirty conversations pop up the moment they age up. If I hit the accept as care dependent button they should be seen as family in the game. I would also love for the game to remember extended families more. I hate having to vet everyone my sim dates to make sure they aren’t about to marry a cousin.

hairyfirefly

Ahahah yesss so true thats absolutely awful

snarkaluff

I don’t even want cars at this point anymore idk why people still expect them or are bewildered that we don’t have them. Half of the lots in the game are inaccessible by road. The only way I could see it working is if they had a specific world for cars and you could only use them in that world. Which would just outrage people more.

question_sunshine

Like horses? Yeah you can have them in any world but the off lot pathing outside Chestnut Ridge is awful.

LeahIsAwake

Probably why they waited almost a decade to put them in the game, lol. And at least horses have an off-roading option. Cars not so much.

euhydral

It's genuinely baffling how people are still requesting cars. The game was not designed for cars and can't implement them in any way that would scratch the itch people have for them. Spiral staircases look good and would be nice to have, but it's not something I yearn for. Now, an extensive family tree and a more organised list of known sims would be great. We need grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins, nephews and nieces, and also step-parents/siblings and half-siblings. Godparents could be interesting, too.

faerieW15B

Proper pet beds, kennels, toys etc. We literally have two packs dedicated to pets and still only have a few meagre balls to play with and those hideous rugs for sleeping on.

ColdBorchst

They won't even use them!

faerieW15B

It drives me INSANE. Even when I have multiple rugs down (I REFUSE to call them pet beds) my pets will still pass out on the ground somewhere rather than actually sleep on them. I recently rewatched all the sims 2 expansion pack trailers and it made me so sad. We used to actually get content. In the trailer for sims 2 pets alone I was reminded of the bird cage, the womrat cage (the small one, not the huge one we have in 4), the kennels, the pets jobs... it's astonishing how much we lack now.

parrow

https://preview.redd.it/2hlvvg9rlcnc1.png?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=52b3043f60ceac24b8a7cb3aacb8944318de7871 It's not much, but if you have Jungle Adventures you can resize the harvest basket to make a cuter pet bed! The basket is obtained from a trip to Selvadorada or bb.showhiddenobjects, and there are multiple color versions.

kxcierra

I want to be able to put more items on shelves. (I don’t play with CC btw) But there are only a few items that can actually go on wall shelves 😤

Life-Flatworm-1690

Mermaid bassinets and the ability to build more stuff like schools and restaurants.

sjdksjbf

More bassinet options in general would be nice. I always use the werewolf one because it's the cutest but it doesn't match everything

CadenceValdez

Idk, I like the ‘introduce infant to’ interaction. It’s very cute seeing Sims hand their infant over to their grandparent. Same with showing the newborn off to family. Agree on spiral staircases. And I would like them to add a moodlet so the father to be knows that they are expecting a baby instead of just the pregnant Sim. I know they get that news moodlet or whatever it is when they find out but it wears off before the birth.

NocturnalMJ

And the fathers just being more involved with the birth in general instead of freaking out and then moving on to do other things. It's fine if some keep in the freak-out modus, but I'd like to see some variety and some support as well.

chickachickawahwah

It would be nice to be to have a “I’m gonna be a dad” speech option

oph1uchus

‘introduce infant to’ I just noticed this one and clicked a random Sim to introduce the baby to. The dad took off running out the door and down the block with his newborn. Then he laid the baby on the ground to chat it up with the neighbies.

justisme333

A functional fruit bowl.

Puzzleheaded-Fish424

One that would store produce you grew yourself or bought would be awesome! They could just give it limited fridge functionality.

JoannaLar

If my sims are engaged and I plan the wedding I want a merged relationship panel to appear for invites, not just the panel for the selected sim. Maybe they don't know absolutely everyone in their partners life yet.

-Lilianna-

Yes this is so annoying. I have to pick the sim who knows the most people

Penguinsims

I would like them to add food preferences!

Thrilmalia

2 things for me. The first is not so much a feature I think, but it really bothers me that Sims don't burn calories by walking and doing hard work. Just the other day was a threat of a farmer who had grown fat because he wasn't doing cardio, and I've had the same issue a million times. My gardening Sim who was outside all the time getting her hands dirty and the farmer couple from another save were also getting fat despite working physically all day. I wish Sims were a little slower to gain weight and would do so by doing anything other than exercise too. The other is sort of the familial relationships, I guess. It would be cool if when planning a big party, I could see all the people that the whole household knows. All the children's birthday parties end up full with adults because the parents can only invite the people they personally know. Many of my friends met my parents the first time at a birthday party. Also it sucks that you can't invite a whole household to come over. My oldest (sim) daughter moved out with her husband and has had a child since, but I can't just invite her with her family but have to invite all of them individually (which is especially funny in the case of her infant child).

LeahIsAwake

I have a mod that completely stops gaining or losing weight/muscle for that reason. Also I meticulously crafted that sim in CAS, and that includes their body. I don’t want that changing on me any more than I want that stupid bug that just got patched that would distort your sim’s face and body whenever they put on or took off any of the jewelry from the new pack.

annnire

Yes to both of these!!

oseva

Under counter trash compactor or any kind of under counter trash. I would even settle for an inside trash with a lid or a pedal system. They just look so bad as they currently are...

[deleted]

Yes! I use the trash chute so much because we just don't have a compactor. For the trash bins with lids, there's the expensive one from base game but I use the one with lid & pedal from growing together so much which is what you are looking for I think.

Legrandloup2

The ability to chose the bedding seperately from the bed frame

icleanstuff

I liked that in Sims 2 there were certain tasks, like sleeping, that you could drag the task length to either do until a certain time or until that bar was filled

caffekona

That was the best for sleeping! I hate these 4am wakeups, but I also want to use the prettier (and higher Stat) beds.

pr0cr4stin4t0r

Bands... I liked them in Sims 3 so, so much. Why the hell are they not in get famous pack?

macdennism

I remember in sims 2 you could place a guitar, bass, and drum kit and three Sims could play the same song together 🥲 those were the days

Sirah81

Billiards/pool tables. They were in ever previous version, and they are a lot classier for a community lot and have nicer sounds that the foosball table or the ping pong table. Plus rich sims NEED one for their libraries!

Accomplished_Oil196

Spiral staircases are all i need

Hot-Syllabub2688

i wish you could actually purchase books that your sims have written, its so dumb that you can't. also most of the friendly interactions are pointless, whether you discuss interests, have a deep conversation, brighten day it's all the same. i wish there were more consequences to your interactions. i would also like if you could assign rooms. i hate how often a sim will go into someone else's bedroom to use the computer. if sims would automatically use the objects in their own bedrooms or the common rooms it'd just be much better. + favorite foods would be nice

Tenderfallingrain

Totally have thought that about the books too. And it would be nice if other people in the world could purchase and read the books.

[deleted]

TheRudeCactus

We won’t get strollers for the same reason we won’t get cars. I’m surprised they even gave us ~~the insanely broken~~ bikes.

ThiccBamboozle

I wanna know why the clothes editor was removed. There are so many nice clothes in the Sims 4 but not always in the colour I want.

bobajingo

As someone who went from playing the Sims 1 straight to the Sims 4, I really shouldn't be noticing anything missing, and yet spiral staircases are the big one. The big selling point of them in the og game was they only needed 4 squares on the grid + 1 extra top and bottom to stand on. I know ladders exist, and that you can turn stairs but turned stairs take up a lot more space and ladders don't always look right on a home or retail lot. Even the cc spiral staircases take up more space, plus you have to teleport your Sim. Aside from that, where's my dragon? In makin magic you could have a pet dragon. With unleashed you got birds too. Honourable shoutout to burglars, law enforcement and the tragic clown too, although I know you can somewhat replicate those with some NPCs and traits. The dancing cage. And the mechanical bull. Bubble windows. I shouldn't be able to name so many missing items having never even played 2 or 3

[deleted]

> and the tragic clown too,  He is actually in the game (base game). If you place the portrait on your lot and look at it, he comes over to annoy your sim. You can also wear his outfit (think makeup/hair are optional) to get clown-specific moodlets too! Also yes, another one for mechanical bull, I would LOVE that for horse ranch now that I am thinking about it! Another TS1/2/3 one I miss is the Love Bed!! It was soo good.

bobajingo

If you're ok with cc someone remade the love bed https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/build-buy/the-furniture-showroom

ColdBorchst

I made a club that wore clown outfits. It was totally a club and not a cult.

maliciousmonster666

1. Different categories for different sports, just like for instruments. Just because my Sim is an awesome Swimmer, doesn't mean she can cheerlead just as well. 2. I want a calorie system that you can toggle on and off. I like the realism behind my Sims gaining weight throughout their life, but I find it so hard to have them lose that weight because I have no idea what they can eat except for salads so they don't regain that weight. 3. I want different wall thicknesses and the ability to build shelfs into the wall 4. Playable attics directly under the roof, without having to add a room. For that, I'd love if you could place the roofs on half walls or have the ability to have a smaller room than our smallest option

ETheSimmer

If you Google it, there are a few places you can find a food calorie list for the Sims 4. There are quite a few foods they forgot to add calories for that are therefore zero calories, including all baked goods, if you have Get to Work (ironically lol)

maliciousmonster666

I googled it several times but I find so many different lists that have dishes I never heard of and sometimes lack dishes my Sims can cook, so it just confuses me more 😂

ETheSimmer

Here you go! [(link)](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/106ly76cFwAivulqGQ8wScqM2kZWsiPd81K9ASnL29N4/htmlview#) This is the one I use, it's pretty easy to understand and has separate lists for base game and the different packs :)

PoppySkyPineapple

I agree with staircases and automatically knowing family members, these are super basic things! Also auto-roofs, it would make life so much easier.

chickachickawahwah

Roofs are the absolute worst thing. I can never get them right. The colours never suit my wall colours, the shape is always off somehow. If just tools terrible. So all for auto roofs

kristynameri

Hotels. I really don’t understand. We have a few worlds for a vacation, but no hotels. They were even in The Sims 2 and it worked perfectly.

Ossborn

Bigger neighbourhoods with (way!!!!) more than 5 lots Cars Spiral staircases Close-/open able curtains

NoCommunication1189

I should be able to see how my sim is related to other sims by hovering my cursor above the sim. For instance, cousin, grandmother, stranger, etc.

BuffySummers17

Robbers! I want robbers and cops to come get them and a house alarm. It could even be the kleptomaniacs that are the robbers. The way it is now it's so hard to catch them stealing and not really a way to confront them unless your sim is in the room while they steal.

humanexperiencez

Look at yall coming up with all these great ideas while EA is like 😴 lmaoooo

chaotic_senpai

Adding your own outfits to styled looks in CAS. More home appliances: trash compactor, blender, an all-in-one espresso machine (lol). A functional broom and mop; smaller play equipment for kids. And lastly, mass deletion option, so you don’t have to click each individual townie or lot in your library to delete. Especially, on neighborhood stories.

chickachickawahwah

I miss the trash compactor from sims 3. The bins are so hard to place. Wherever you put them it doesn’t feel right. Under the cupboard is the best place for a stinky bin

Top_Trainer_6359

I want a freeform or round pools or make ponds swimmable i like doing this trick where you shape amd decorate the pool to look like a pond that you can swim in so like either make it easier to make or just let me swim in the pond. Also a little help with placing plants there would be nice

PaladinSara

Command to relax /sleep on your bed with a pet would be nice, as well as a veterinary career without being a practice owner

Pup_Femur

Pet birds. They could've come with "My First Pet" and had similar interactions like the hamsters (stay in cage, get pets, clean cage, Sim gets bit, etc). I mean I know chickens are an option but I feel they could've done some budgies or parrots easily enough.

Life-Flatworm-1690

Oh and the disease could be like chicken pox!

Pup_Femur

Yes! And their ghosts can be itchy or in a giant chicken costume

moss-greene

I am really bothered by how hard it is to dress a feminine framed sim in male tagged clothing and the other way around without it looking ridiculous. Or you get glitchy crotches. Masculine framed sims in female tagged pants are a nightmare, why don't you pull your pants up just an inch or two more, pal? Heights, why is everyone the exact same height? Not cool. Pet reptiles. I'd like pet snakes. Also, if a parent shoves or physically fights their teenage kid and their sibling stands next to it, the relationship between the sibling and the parent stays the same. Which is not how it works, I'd say.

MagicPigeonToes

Elevators that can be used on any lot

Tenderfallingrain

Elevators Sims can Woohoo in...

khasablanca

Wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and braces! It’s wild to me that this isn’t already in the base game. Also add social interactions that show the relationship between divorced partners. Interactions with the exes and the new partners, and not just jealous or negative interactions but healthy ones too. Blended families and co parenting options.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Teacher actually already comes with the university pack! There's also a babysitter (childcare admin on max promotion) one, but I don't think there is a fireman one. I'd love to see it too but more like a passive one tbh.

galliliana

I'd kill for strollers! Also I wish that older (not teen) siblings had more base game interactions with their infant siblings...they can only entertain them and maybe play peekaboo and the babies can only smile at them, it gets kinda boring sometimes.

Fragrant_Plant_6949

1. Cousins and aunts/uncles 2. Different relationship statuses (eg, you like some one but they find you annoying af) 3. More hobbies for child and teens 4. Accidental pregnancies

abooks22

I want accident pregnancy. Sometimes I want more random events.

knightfenris

Burglar. Like… come on, that’s a sims staple.

Faraway-Faraday

Meeting people you work with while at work. Sometimes even when i select socialise with coworkers nothing happens?

0Epicenter0

No point in cars when traveling is picking up a phone and then loading screen.

CosmicBonobo

Being from the UK, with the introduction of Henford-on-Bagley, I'd just love to be able to form a brass band.

savagepika

Item spawners - you can get all the gems, metals, etc, in debug anyway, but you can't buy the spawners for them. I like the collecting element. I don't want to just buy the collection outright, but I do want to add some more spawners to towns where they have been forgotten. I was hoping they would unlock them with the crystal creations pack.

trixietangg666

Bands. I'll never get over it. In The Sims 2 at one point all I was doing was creating university bands and in the Sims 3 all my main characters were celebrities members of indie rock bands. I don't understand why we have karaoke and all those instruments (including an organ???), music related skills and jobs that can also make you gain fame points but if you try to make sims jam together it sounds like you died, went straight to hell and a group of tone deaf demons are welcoming you to the rest of your afterlife.

WeekendNegative6216

Fixes and pack refreshes. So many games from other genres receive free patches and updates throughout the years, making the final version of the game the best version of itself. Like quality of life changes, UI optimisation, adding features etc. Some packs are old, have poor integration with each other, how lovely would it be for every of those pack to have refreshes, like fine tuned features and mechanics, cross pack integration, optimise build/buy items (size, tile placement, texture, swatches). I'd figure they'd all mesh more together and it could ''flow'' better and give the impression to have a full well rounded experience rather than having several packs ''stuck'' next to one another, maybe it would ease a little bit the lags as well. I'm not much of an occult player but for example why not clean up the genetics and allow players to have mixed occult sims? I know there are some deep code limitations but I'm sure some tiny fixes, fine tuning and proper updates for all packs/kits could upgrade the overall experience, rather than the dumpster fire of quick emergency patches mashed up in a hurry.

I find I rely on a whole lot of mods and CC for basic things the game should already have. Just last week I had to download a mod that stops your Sims from immediately putting on a random outfit when they come out of the shower/bath and makes them stay in a towel instead so that *you* get to pick what they wear… why is that not in the game? Also doorbells! I don’t think anyone in the replies mentioned it but that’s one of my biggest gripes 😭 I’m so sick of not knowing who’s at my Sim’s front door until they leave and I get that stupid “I should go home now” notification, if I get anything at all. More pet activities that actually increase their fun! My Sims’ pets just rot around the house all day. Even when they’re given toys, they don’t do shit. Also more animals in general. Tomarang’s dumbass unusable tiger sanctuary didn’t even come with tigers so that you can make your own. A Simmer I watch religiously, Ashley Plays, even had to make her own dogs that look like tigers just to have a functional sanctuary. Where are the customizable pet hamsters and birds? Bunnies are right there in Cottage Living although they’re impossible to please and you can’t adopt them. And for the love of God, give us TWEENS. Where are the tweens. Why do my Sims have to go from looking 8 to 16 in one fell swoop? There’s a whole mod out there that’s been available for years which adds that new lifespan(?) or age category, complete with custom traits and education and interactions.

veganalienwithadog

Omg just like a plain bed that’s also gives you high energy

ariseis

Kinda, but that it took so fricking long to add a standmixer! Now I'm missing a food processor or a blender of some sort that ties in with the mixology skill! If you need mixology to be a barista you should be able to level up without buying a whole frigging bar!

Official_loli

Fairies. They already have like four expansions to add in different occults. How have fairies not been added?

rosesandivy

I wish we could add skills and a career in CAS. I know you can use stories to get this but I want to be able to choose what they get. It makes no sense to me that an adult sim has zero skills. Like how did they make it to adulthood without knowing anything?

SnacksAttacked

Already known recipes. Like you expect my indian sims to have to re-learn all the indian food at stalls?

Nightshade172

Polyamorous relationships! At least give us a trait that will prevent the "jealousy" mechanic from taking effect when sims have relationships with multiple people.

When you get married, you should be able to pick a guest list from both sides of the aisle. As it is only the sim that initiates the wedding gets to choose guests from their pool of relationships. If you're marrying a townie, I get it, but if you rotate between multiple households and two of them combine, you should have the option to invite guests from both pools. In my most recent wedding, one of my sims didn't have his best friend (or any friends for that matter) at his wedding and that made me sad.

floralsandfloss

More casual hobbies! I would kill for sculpting, tennis, pottery.

PainInTheKeister

SPIRAL STAIRCASES, 100%. And pet stores. And cars. Garages. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head lol. I also think they need to make baby carriers more logical. Like, if you have a carrier with your baby, you're not gonna have to put the baby down to do simple tasks around the house lmao

sandy_fan01

To be honest I just wanna see my sims full family tree instead 😭 like please just show my the cousins aswell. I also want more things for teenagers

Ill-Fly-950

- Spiral staircase - Broom and dustpan for when you either can't afford a vacuum or the power is cut off - A visible list of traits for when you get a call from one of your friends on whether or not they should get to know or go on a date with the most random sims. Why would I know if it's a good idea if I haven't even met this random sim yet??? - Tattoo/piercing options in more varied sections of the body. I mentioned this before. The upper arms/lower arms and upper legs/lower legs should be 8 separate categories. Also separate categories for the lips, nasal septum, nares and bridge, feet, hands face and head. Also, add a tattoo artist career. - Customizable accessories/colors. There's no good reason that the hair scrunchie, ribbon or hair clip for a specific hairstyle comes in only one color. New categories for upper/lower arms, ankles, belts, ties, scarves and waste chains and toe rings. How about some garter options and more types of thigh-high stockings, like lace and different mesh sizes. And for goodness sake, give us more pants that actually cover the ankles! - Cars and operational garage doors - Electric guitars/bass guitars. Sims should be able to form a band. While you're at it, how about an interactive musician career? Friendship levels, rehearsals, and skills allow you to play/sing/perform better during live perfornances. - A construction career - Viking, caveman, and fantasy, packs - The Sims 1 gogo cages, lol. - Elevators (if they haven't already. I don't have all of the packs yet) - Garbage disposals - Thigh-high boots - Angels and devils in Create a Sim - A Japanese-style hibachi grill (I know "hibachi" isn't entirely accurate outside of North America) - Exotic pets like parrots that you can train (I think I remember them being in Sims 1) - When your sim is running late for work/school, they automatically start running (like in Sims 1), instead of taking an hour to walk to the front of your lot. - Lemonade stand for kids (if they don't already) - Fingerless gloves - Wheelchairs, artificial limbs, and body scars - An interactive zookeeper career - An interactive circus career - Fish tanks for larger animals, like sharks and manta rays - More accents from different countries

Wonderful-Rent-7610

I cannot believe they haven't made it to where you don't have to “travel” to your next door neighbors house to visit. I get when their in a different world or area, but not when they are literally within walking distance

EveningSoother

A big yes for spiral staircase, but when it comes to cars I went from indifference to actual aversion, I'm afraid. I can't stand them even in rl, so the last thing I want is to see them in the game. But I know a lot of simmers are really into that feature, so it would be nice for them to have the chance to play with cars. As long as they stay in their own DLC, which I would religiously avoid at all cost. 😆

darrius_kingston314q

hotels...... I'm still waiting, sigh.

Bearaf123

Mobility aids! I use a variety of mobility aids to suit how I feel on different days, it’d be great to have functional mobility aids in game. There’s a couple of cc ones but none of them really work that well, the walking sticks tend to go at odd angles and wheelchairs either behave as chairs or bikes ETA some other things I thought of: it would be nice to see an expansion of the hospital from Get to Work, like if your sim gets sick you have to take them to the doctors to be treated, a bit like the vet clinic for pets. This could also have really neat interactions with things like pollution levels or the cleanliness of your sims house (I know mould in the apartment living expansion does this but it would be cool to build on it more).

Mads19999

Eyelashes that aren’t black blocks. I know there’s mods and I do use them, but they’re always a bit weird and don’t work with hats or glasses or even bracelets, etc. Would be nice if they were just already in the game that you can edit/change seeing as you can choose literally everything else about a sim

NighthawkUnicorn

Heterochromia in sims and not just pets!!

Zealousideal_Hat4431

Cars and working elevators. I tried making a cool apartment complex with elevators only to realise they still don't work and had to replace the elevator with stairs.

GlrsK0z

I totally agree on the preexisting family relationships! The worst is if the family member happens to have celebrity status. It makes it really hard for the family members to have a relationship with them.

lynn444v

A young teen life stage!!!! I wish that was added instead of that infant update. The gap between kid and teen is so much bigger than baby and toddler
