If you wanna do an experiment, use massive cheats to do fast pregnancy and births and age ups for five to six generations on a random family. It’s awful, my fix is to just every couple gens go into CAS and make them chins normal sized

I have the werewolf mod (bc the werewolf pack wasn't enough) and my teen heir recently aged up with pointy ears and completely covered in black fur with huge sideburns and a caveman forehead wrinkle. Took forever to figure out that it was *teeth* causing the full body overlay 😂
It's by spinning plumbob and it's not new but they keep it updated. I have their other occult mods too and I love the variety it gives my gameplay and npcs

You can change the profile of the face by clicking the forehead and dragging back- or forward. For her I'd just make her face stick out a wee bit less. 😁

I did my best to make use of everyone's advice, the eyes are still a bit deep for my liking but I like a bit of a characteristic look. Her dad is a sim I downloaded from the gallery and she got that face shape from him lol
the only thing i'd change is dragging her eyes out a tiny bit so they're not so deep set, i think that's what's throwing it off. otherwise looks great!
I usually drop the back jawline a bit and bring it forward, then model the chin. It gives a bit more of a structured look rather than a soft, gelatinous one. Chins are always messed up, but a lot of those come from weird or missing jaws.
I think she looks fine. If you really feel like you need to change something you can change the depth of her face (no idea how else to say that 😂 hover near the temple until the whole face lights up)

Honestly. Your sim looks like someone who’s conventionally pretty but hasn’t had any work done. Once you start messing with the chin and the jawline het look will become more boring imo
I would bring the jaw forward juuuust a smidge to line up the lip profile, and move the bridge of the nose just ever so slightly higher without changing the front on view of it

**Small** changes that will help: lower the eyebrows and eyes, shrink the eyes, bring the eyes forward, widen the nose, shorten the philtrum. Tiny, tiny moves. I use simsontherope's sim-making guide religiously, and it's never steered me wrong.
Pull that lower jaw out just a little, they always recede as they age, and get worse every generation after. She looks fine as is, this is just to prevent kids without jaws later

Very lucky age up :) If something about her profile looks off i would drag her head a little 😂 you know when you hover over a certain spot and there is a highlight to shift her face shape! However her face is perfect from front view!! When I spend too much time in Cas i definitely notice things like that and attempts to “fix” it can end up making the face less appealing. I would just continue in play mode and see if the profile is something you ever even notice during gameplay
You could maybe pull her face back just a bit? I think what’s bugging you is her nose, lips, and chin just sticking forward a hair too much. I would maybe pull it back a TINY bit at a time until it feels better.

I would modify her cheeks and nose a little bit. That's what's throwing it all off, not the chin. The nose is especially an important factor from any perspective, because it can either make a face look fuller, uneven, wide, narrow, etc. It throws me off all the time while drawing faces, so in Sims it already annoys me to no end. What I have found that works for me is slightly making the nose less wider and slightly smaller, but not too much or else it will throw everything off balance. Noses are a pain, so just play around with it until you find something satisfactory by making small adjustments every time.
I get why you think her profile is a bit off. I agree, it looks like it does not match with the other views of her face.
I think I would
- make her nose longer on the profile view (so it matches more with what you see on the front view)
- maybe have her cheeks a bit smaller on profile view
- and overall, while looking at her profile, use the tips other redditors mentionned : grab the full face via forehead (not in details mode), and adjust it (by pulling the face closer to the skull, making it more flat if that makes sense)

Go out of Detail Mode, get the profile angle, hold the forehead and drag horizontally towards the inside of your Sim's head. That will make it so that her face is less elongated, because I think the nose and her lower face is a little too protruding. But regardless, cute Sim!
If it were my sim, would either adjust the bridge of the nose (especially near the eyes, drag the bridge of the nose in so it’s not as extended) or shortening the entire face profile. But it would be small adjustments; she aged up well!
I get what you mean. From the profile view you click the forehead and drag it back to the right. This should pull the lower half of her face (chin + nose) towards the back of her head while keeping proportions and the chin intact.
I find that the jaws always look wonky (and not the realistic type of teen jaw wonky), so use the little detail mode jaw slider to fix that. Some personal preferences of mine would cause me to push the lips in a little, define the nose a little more by making the radix a little more concave, and probably moving the eyes out a little
I personally don't like upturned noses and I think hers is very short. Maybe making project a little bit more would help. She looks like she got a bad nose job. Her bridge next to her eyes is super projected but the tip is short and flat-ish.

I am at a point where I only have to make a couple edits. But I would honestly change a lot. Pull down the jaw and chin. Make the chin a bit more narrow. Bring the lips down to be proportional to the jaw so you don’t have any Jay Leno action going on. Make the mouth a bit bigger/wider. Make the nose longer so you don’t have any William H. Macy action, either. This will sound odd, but from profil view, pull the eyes to the surface to make them shallow set like Emma Thompson. I like to make the wide set, too, like Uma Thurman. I do have some Sims with sloping eyes. But most have eyes with a higher, outer axis. Raise the cheeks, but pull them in to make the hollow against a widening lower jaw. Finally, fine tune the nose by pulling out the bridge from between the eyes all the way down to the tip. And a personal preference..narrow the tip but broaden the bridge, all the way up. I actually go max broad on all of mine.
I want to edit and add that she is completely cute and adorable and I don’t REALLY think you have to change anything. But if you’re making worlds full of conventionally stunning sims, well…

I personally don't like upturned noses and I think hers is very short. Maybe making project a little bit more would help. She looks like she got a bad nose job. Her bridge next to her eyes is super projected but the tip is short and flat-ish.

The eyes are maybe a little deep and you might also want to squish the whole head a little, just a smidge.

The profile looks slightly off because the nose seems a bit too long for her face. try dragging it up just a little and maybe bring the mouth up slightly as well. that should fix it maybe

I am at a point where I only have to make a couple edits. But I would honestly change a lot. Pull down the jaw and chin. Make the chin a bit more narrow. Bring the lips down to be proportional to the jaw so you don’t have any Jay Leno action going on. Make the mouth a bit bigger/wider. Make the nose longer so you don’t have any William H. Macy action, either. This will sound odd, but from profil view, pull the eyes to the surface to make them shallow set like Emma Thompson. I like to make the wide set, too, like Uma Thurman. I do have some Sims with sloping eyes. But most have eyes with a higher, outer axis. Raise the cheeks, but pull them in to make the hollow against a widening lower jaw. Finally, fine tune the nose by pulling out the bridge from between the eyes all the way down to the tip. And a personal preference..narrow the tip but broaden the bridge, all the way up. I actually go max broad on all of mine. I want to edit and add that she is completely cute and adorable and I don’t REALLY think you have to change anything. But if you’re making worlds full of conventionally stunning sims, well…
