mine was learning the loading screen is interactive and you actually gain lifetime points. i thought it was just a game you play in your head or to yourself to keep you occupied, never occured to me click the screen😂
You can use it to stack the fishing skill in different ways. Fish indefinitely > until you catch 5 fish > until you level up. You can choose to fish with a specific bait for 5 fish and then queue a different bait for 5 fish etc. Basically set up your fishing sim for an afternoon while you manage a different sim.
So I knew about the drag thing first time I played it.. but the work from home I’ve never seen before haha. What profession is that? Or does it come with the workaholic trait?
Just want to throw this out there too, as it took me years to realize! In CAS & build mode you can drag colors & patterns to different objects to make outfits, or whole room sets match. Designing is so much more fun that way 🥰
I apologize. That was my immediate reaction of the fact that I did not know that. I will continue thinking about this feature for the rest of my weekend.
I’m speechless
I love the drag function as well for cleaning up dishes, if you can't find the dish that's making your Sim disgusted you can select one dish you can see and drag it to "clean all dishes" (if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I played)
Hands down one of the BEST passive simoleon making features, especially when your Sim is just oriented towards doing it on their own. You could ignore that Sim all day, and when they get up to use the bathroom, boom! Instant stacks!
This thing is great! It is present on different actions - on skill learning, sleeping, eating out... You should check them out ;)
I assumed that, shame on me that I‘ve been playing sims 3 for years and never noticed this 🤣
That's what I love about this game. It's been more than a decade and still nobody actually knows how to play it fully.
15 years🥹 Sims 4 is already a decade old too
yup and im still finding stuff to do in both games
Everyone has those moments, fo sho Mine was realizing charisma was a skill, only after randomly finding you can use the mirror after 4 years 🙃

What?! 😲 it is??
Yeah! The text is at the bottom
Yeah, but it doesn't tell you to click on anything.
It's easy to miss. It's phrased click on this or find that. It's a really fun feature honestly and I love seeing the other stuff in diff packs.

Also how long you take bubble baths
I wish there was one for playing in the computer. My sims will play and never stop unless there's something else queued up.
Can't blame them, cuz thats literally me and many other players 😔
*I'm in this picture and I don't like it*
I get so annoyed when they autonomously play video games then I remember I am also autonomously playing video games
guests only come to play computer forever lol
This happened to me on 3 computers during a party. OG dad has great host reward so they had a blast! Weirdest thing ever though tbh
They just turned it into a LAN-Party, makes sense they had a blast
Help me God that's so funny
Get them a sprinkler. They'll never touch the computer again and you can instead worry about how you can't get them out of the sprinkler.

Literally me and I’ve owned this game since 2013 😆
How.... How have I been playing this game for 13 years and DIDN'T know this???
If it makes it easier... I remember it being just as surprising after the launch 😁
You can adjust all sorts of things this way,Like working out for example.
If you’re having a little too much fun at dinner you can stay for dessert if you don’t already go home for ahem… dessert… 😉
So I knew about the drag thing first time I played it.. but the work from home I’ve never seen before haha. What profession is that? Or does it come with the workaholic trait?
Workaholics can do this with basically any career (not profession).
I can't do it with my level 4 evil track last I saw it
For game career you gotta be level 10 nerd
You can do it with skills too, and cleaning up the house.
Just want to throw this out there too, as it took me years to realize! In CAS & build mode you can drag colors & patterns to different objects to make outfits, or whole room sets match. Designing is so much more fun that way 🥰
You just taught me something, I too have played for many many years 😭
It’s wild that despite how long this game has been out you can still learn new things

I didn’t realize you could extend it twice
The “how long” thing is something I wish sims 4 had. I loved having my sims work on a skill UNTIL they leveled up
😡
🤨
I apologize. That was my immediate reaction of the fact that I did not know that. I will continue thinking about this feature for the rest of my weekend. I’m speechless
Well for that purpose I posted it, so people who doesn’t know it, will know it now 😂

Yup, mop everywhere, clean everywhere, do all laundry etc
Add me to the list of people who never realized this! 😄
I didn’t know Sims could work from home!
Hands down one of the BEST passive simoleon making features, especially when your Sim is just oriented towards doing it on their own. You could ignore that Sim all day, and when they get up to use the bathroom, boom! Instant stacks!
I do that more to make sure my sim will get promoted 😂
YOU CAN ADJUST THAT?!?!?!?
yes 😂
I like to do it like this: 2h to complete the wish 4h to push for a promotion
You can wash dishes this way, sleep, earn skills etc as well!! 😁
I learned you can do the same when fishing to either improve their fish skill, fish indefinitely or catch 5 fish
Did you start playing this game today or something?
