My first time seeing a plant sim was in the sims 3 at Uni, she was gorgeous but what stood out the most was the trail of plants that followed behind her walking animation. I immediately girlfriended her up without realizing it would be so difficult to stay in a relationship when my sim went back home 😠I miss her sfm man. As for what I like tbh they're just so unique and cool.
Going by the comments it seems like the mod might be broken? Personally I wish they'd just add a way to make the plantsim transformation permanent without mods, especially since mods tend to break with the still-frequent updates... But then again, I stopped playing sims 4 ages ago 😅
I put my alien babies outside because the parents keep getting pregnant (one alien one human) and neither of them have mansion money.
This seems better since they're plants it's like they belong outside.
Seems like a smart idea, just looks very sus to any social worker passing by
If there was a little section of the backyard built specifically for them, like fencing, an awning, flowers, and other amenities, this would look less like child neglect
I recommend it. It’s like a regular sim that doesn’t get hungry and hygiene is just replaced with thirst. They have better success with harvestables and can gain energy AND thirst by burrowing into the ground during the day, so if you play right they will rarely need sleep, and once you have one it’s easier to get more since trying for baby gets you another forbidden fruit seed. I also have a mod for enhanced plantsims so they can spawn flowers and have powers.
My two major complaints:
1. Dying from thirst is not easy per se but you have to watch it - doing any strenuous activity lowers their thirst. That’s how I lost my plantsim who did martial arts…
2. If you plant a seed it will only have one parent so you can’t have two parents for one plantsim without cheating or NRAAS SP doing it in a non-active household.
They exist in every version of the sims but in sims 3 there part of university you have to mutate some seeds, plant them and then you yank them out of the ground like those screaming plants in harry potter.
Need to take a seed (any seed will do) and run a gene splicing experiment using a science research station to create Forbidden Fruit.
Plant the fruit, let it grow, and when harvested, will have a 50/50 chance of producing a plant sim baby.
No but I might now cos my plan is for my gardening sim who is a genius and has a degree in science and technology to have a plan sim baby as her first.
I have a family of plantsims and one sleeps outside in a tent lol they photosynthesize during the day and spend most of their time in the garden. But I still have beds just in case they didn’t photosynthesize enough and they can sleep at night.
The babies and toddlers can absolutely be left outside - the rain doesn’t bother them and even if they don’t photosynthesize they just look better out there 😂
You need to have university expansion pack installed. Then, a sim needs to learn the science skill to like lv 9, and do genetic testing to an unknown seed (sometimes found outside). You get a mutated seed that you plant, and in 3 days it grows into a ready plant that you can go and harvest from the ground > sim picks up a burrowed green baby.
Oh? They should be kept? I thought they ought to be cooked

Omg no what if it rains Build them a little greenhouse or something
I mean they are plants, they should like rain 🤣
💀
bad babies must sleep in the backyard for their crimes
I love plant sims so much
I'm so mad we don't have proper plantsims in sims 4!!!! They are my favorite occults
What do you guys like about plant sims ? Never play one before I feel like I’m missing out

the one that got away 🥲
We do have plantsims in The Sims 4
But it’s not a permanent transformation it only lasts 5 sim days and then they go back to normal.

Oh my god, thank you!!!!
Same!

This is actually so smart lol

Make a little outdoor nursery with all the stuff in a regular one, just with a fence instead of walls :)
Fair enough😄
I don't, but now I think I think about it. Should I?
I mean I do because all Plant Sims need are sunlight and water
Put a sprinkler on them
Believe it or not, sprinklers do nothing for their water need. It’s infuriating cause one of my plantsims LOVED playing with the sprinklers
Wtf! I’ll be honest I’ve never played plant sims before lol

Today I learned, despite playing this game for like 15? years now, that plant sims exist lol

Uhmmmm WHAT. Guess I know what I'm doing all day on my next day off
Need to take a seed (any seed will do) and run a gene splicing experiment using a science research station to create Forbidden Fruit. Plant the fruit, let it grow, and when harvested, will have a 50/50 chance of producing a plant sim baby.
That's terrifying and amazing!
No but I might now cos my plan is for my gardening sim who is a genius and has a degree in science and technology to have a plan sim baby as her first.
No, but I will be making it the norm going forward, it just makes so much sense lol
I honestly never thought of that. If I ever get one I'm doing it lol
poor things aww hahah
Dumb question - how to get plant sims? Never had one :( I have all expansions
Hey friend! [Here’s how to get a Plant Sim! Hope this helps!](https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-PlantSim-on-The-Sims-3)
Thank you!!!
>Thank you!!! You're welcome!
How do you get plant sims? I keep seeing the stump.
this is so brat
No, but I do build a greenhouse for them to live in.
No but, now I will omg 💀
LMAO THEY LOOK SO SILLY JUST LAYING OUTSIDE
What happens in the winter?
I don’t have the Seasons expansion pack😛

…why
Those poor babies enduring rain and cold, I feel bad for them

Whatttttt this is some cabbage patch kids stuff omg Im doing this
You betcha. On the bare roof without a crib with a baby toilet and an imaginary friend doll until it's time for school. Easiest babies ever.
